Many students had binoculars and omniculars.The seats might be raised high in the air, but it was still difficult to see what was going on sometimes. Meanwhile, in the locker room, the two teams were changing into their Quidditch robes. Madam Hooch was refereeing. She stood in the middle of the field waiting for the two teams, her broom in her hand. “Now, I want a nice fair game, all of you,” she said, once they were all gathered around her. “Mount your brooms, please.” Madam Hooch gave a loud blast on her silver whistle. Rules to Remember:
- Goals aren’t in the hoops or aren’t scored until the Keeper of the opposing team posts
- Be realistic, if the Quaffle is all the way on the opposing side, and you steal it, fine, but, then scoring at the same time. Now that’s just impossible. Be realistic! You also cannot be constantly blocking the goal, the Quaffle has to go in on occasion.
- You do not need to post after every other post. If you do not feel that there is a need to post, like no ball movement has happened since your last post, then don’t post! The game will go on smoother, and it would be easier to read the game.
- If you are sent down for 5 minutes due to misconduct or whatever, you CANNOT come back up and post that your back in the game until the referee has said that you can come back.
- Your team may not post more than 4 times in a row. If there are more than 4 posts from any one team in a row they'll be deleted until there's only 4. Some members of the team may live in different time zones and it will make things more fair. So yes, this is a VERY important rule.

Emma walked onto the pitch, wearing instead of her usual Ravenclaw quidtich outfit, a referee outfit. With her hair braided back in a french braid to keep it out of her eyes, she looked around the stands at the different crowd support. She watched as the cheerleaders began their loud cheers, and she could see that some commentating by Sil was well underway. She walked into the middle of the pitch, and ushered the team captains to come up to her.

Dream had given her team one final pep talk before the game and then they had all flown out onto the pitch. She was up on her broom waiting in the circle formation that both teams formed around the two chasers that would be trying to get possession of the quaffle. She was hoping that her team would get it, but honestly the part that she was really looking forward to was smashing bludgers at Remy and his team. She had told him a long time ago that she couldn't wait to go up against him in a match, and FINALLY that was actually happening.

Melie- Gryffindor Chaser
Melie hovered on her broom nervously waiting for the game to start. It was her first game, along with some of the other players, but she had only had one practice before the match had been announced. Dream had done a good job getting them all riled up but now Melie's nerves were starting to get to her. Trying to calm herself she moved her broom up and down a bit waiting for the game to start.

had took her place at the hoops very apprehensive about the game. She had never played before, but was quite confident in her ability. She was very excited to see that Crys had joined the team and was going to be able to watch her play. Hopefully she wouldn't do anything stupid like try to hit her with the bludger.

Mark couldnt possibly be more excited. After such a long wait the day was finally here, his first quidditch match! He did some brief stretching before mounting his firbolt and kicking off into the air. As chaser his aim was to primarily score, he smiled to the rest of his team mates before flying off and hovering somewhere between the centre circle and the slytherin hoops. He looked over to Remy before shouting across to him. "How about a little side bet about top scorer today?" he said cockily with a huge grin.

He kicked his shoes on the ground and heard Mark's voice. Remy looked over at mark and grinned "sure bud how much do you want to lose." He then saw dream and leona and quickly turned away. For hte next few minutes they were the enemy.

She strode confidently onto the green, and hopped lightly on her broomstick, sitting on it sideways, and gracefully floated upwards, and hovered midfield, sitting leasurely like she was on a park bench. She flew slowly over till she was right on the midfield line, right in front of the Gryffindor team before greeting them.

OOC: The whistle did blow guys. In Professor Rogue's first post, he had Madam Hooch blowing the whistle. Mark or Remy or whoever is the Slytherin Chaser that's going for possession needs to grab the quaffle and go.

Mari held her Nimbus tightly in one hand as she walked onto the pitch and felt a lurch of exhiliration at the sound of the cheers of the crowds. She quickly got onto the broom and tried her best to concentrate. She really wasn't used to this! Mari giggled slightly as Mark immediately wanted to wager Remy, but was caught off guard at the sound of the whistle. Mari immediately squinted to find the snitch and zoomed off into the area where it could be, wondering if Drake would be a difficult opponent... She had never battled against someone else for the snitch and was a bit worried about what ways he would try to get her out of the way.

Mark saw the balls being released, he leaned forwards on his broom and rocketed towards the quaffle ahead of the slytherin chasers. With his left hand grasping his firebolt tightly he reached out with his right and grasped the red ball. He turned back towards Remy, "Lets just keep it friendly, 10 bucks?" he said before laughing and sppeding off towards the slytherin hoops. He looked up to see his way obstructed by several other players. "Melie!" he yelled loudly before throwing the quaffle full speed towards the other gryffindor chaser and setting off himself in search of open space closer to the slytherin hoops.

She had to rise in the air a little because he threw it a little high and she caught the ball, almost dropping at the same time. She waited just outside of the scoring zone, and saw Melie coming in for a shot, but let her come, knowing full well she was in a perfect position to block. Suddenly she passed it, and Erin quickly moved to keep herself between the Quaffle and the goal rings.
"Where are our BEATERS!?!?"
Erin yelled, having noticed that she hadn't seen any of them on the field. With any luck, they were just about to appear... with a nasty surprise for the Gryffies.

Mark moved quickly to his left to catch the quaff$le hurled by Melie. He managed to just about hold on before speeding off towards Erin and the Slytherin hoops. He nervously glanced back wondering where on earth the slytherin team was, he had the feeling that it was the calm before the storm. But seing as how this was the calm and there was not a single person in his way after his and melie's slick passing he wound back his arm before shooting viciously towards the far left Slytherin goal hoop. It was on target that was for sure, now it was just left to see if Erin could fly across to save his shot or not.

Crys sighed as she walked out onto the pitch, then blinked as she realized the game had already started and she was late. She hissed and hopped onto her Firebolt, zooming over to the Slytherin side. She watched the people zoom around, then frowned as she began to get dizzy. Then she looked over to the Gryffindor side and grinned. She swooped over to their goalposts and waved over at Leo, yelling a hello. She might as well hang out with her friend since she couldn't do anything else useful....

Dream grinned happily as she saw that Mark had gotten the quaffle. They were playing now! She could still hardly believe it. She immediately took off for one of the bludgers. A Slytherin beater was heading for it also, but Dream leaned down low over her firebolt and got to it first. She saw Crys waving to Leo and she slammed the beater straight at Crys. The Slytherins weren't friends right now. They needed to be crushed on field, and no outside relationships could get in the way.

Crys glanced up at the sound of rushing air and groaned as let go of the broom with her hands and gripped it with her legs. She dropped so she was hanging upside down under her broom while the bludger whizzed by. Oh of course Dream would be aiming for me, she's psychotic. Death to Slytherins and all...Right then. Crys righted herself as soon as the danger had passed, then she shot a glare at Dream.

She hoped that Crys would understand that Dream didn't mean anything by it other than Leo had to stay focused, and when you put her and Crys together, that just wasn't happening.

Remy heard the whistle blow and instantly went on defense. He saw erin guarding hte center and far right goal post and he headed towards the far left goal. He got there just in time to see mark throw the quaffle and leaned forward on his firebolt to go faster and smiled as he grabbed the quaffle right before it went into the goal. He turned around and seein nothing but mark in front easily avoided him and sped off towards the gryffindor goals. He spotted a errant bludger and swerved to avoid it...at the same time throwing it towards crys yelling "crys catch".

Crys eeped and held her hands up, more to avoid anything hitting her in the face-considering a bludger had just gone after her-than anything but blinked as the quaffle slipped into her grip. She eeped again and flew straight up, getting some altitude before she pointed to the far right goal post, like the great Bambino would. But of course she shot for the far left, hoping that Leo would be fooled.

"You know if you want to score on me, you have to stop using tricks, I've known you guys for years," Leo said not moving as she caught the ball from above. "Crys lies, and you're to confident to lie," Leo said to Remy as she shot the ball this time hoping Mark would get it.

Crys snickered at Remy then intercepted the quaffle, catching it and chuckling at again. She pointed to the Left one again, but her eyes stray for the right and she zooms towards the right. At the last possible second before she'd hit Leo she snaps the quaffle to the center hoop, without looking to give Leo a hint that that's where it was going. She had hopes for this one, but who knows....

Cara flew around the pitch again, beater bat in hand, quidditch robes in place. Her long, blonde hair was tied back into a pony tail, tied by a silver elastic that brought out how light the shade of her hair was. She had been there right from the start of the match, she just hadn't exactly done anything up until that point. Cara didn't want Leo to block that goal, and there seemed to be no other beaters there to hit a Bludger at Leo so she decided to give it a shot. She glided over to where a Bludger was flying around about 5 feet away from Crys and Leo. She raised her bat and hit the bludger as hard as she could towards Leo, not daring to look to see if it had hit it's mark.

Erin was about to dive in to intercept Mark's throw when Remy caught it, and zoomed away towards the opposite side. She watched the interchange between her team and the Gryffies for a minute, but turned to the crowd, hoping to garner more support for her team. She took her wand out and cast a spell towards the audience, making words appear midair saying 'Go Chaos Causers!' in writing made of green and black fire.
Erin was about to dive in to intercept Mark's throw when Remy caught it, and zoomed away towards the opposite side. She watched the interchange between her team and the Gryffies for a minute, but turned to the crowd, hoping to garner more support for her team. She took her wand out and cast a spell towards the audience, making words appear midair saying 'Go Chaos Causers!' in writing made of green and black fire.

Mark looked on helplessly as the slytherin chasers took shots at Leos goal, he hoped that his teams beaters would wake up soon and try putting them off their game. He saw Crys shoot and decided to fly away from the rest of the pack to give himself some space, then if Leo saved this incoming shot he would be free for a simple pass.

Drake "Rock Catching King" - Slytherin Seeker
Drake had his Silver Sytherin Robes on and his broom over his shoulder. He walked onto the field really late and quickly mounted shooting up into the air. He balanced in time to see Crys throw the quaffle at the Gryffindor goal hoops. He didn't spend another second to see if it went in. He had to make up for lost time and started flying around the field looking for the snitch. He dodged a Gryffindor player half way across the field but then had smooth flying as he looked for the snitch.

Dream watched the Slytherins intercept ball after ball and she was starting to get pissed off. Dream raced over to Leo and smashed the bludger that was headed for her, straight towards Remy as hard as she could. Then she flew in front of the way of the quaffle that was heading towards Leo. She got hit in the stomach with it and gasped for breath but was glad that it had blocked the quaffle from going in. She got her breath back and gave Crys a psychotic grin and raced off towards the nearest bludger.

He was pleased that the rest of his team seemed to springing into action too. He flew over towards Dream to ask if she had heard anything about richela and as he did the quaffle hit Dream in the stomach and fell towards the ground. "Oh no you dont!" he called out to the red ball as if plumeted towards the earth. Mark tilted his firebolt towards the ground and chased after it at full speed, just grabbing the ball in time before pulling up out of the nose dive.
"Time to see what this thing can really do!" he muttered to his broom before jetting off down the pitch, he passed two of the slytherin team before coming to a halt and scanning the rest of the field looking fot a fellow Gryffindor chaser to pass the quaffle to, whilst keeping an eye out for stray bludgers at the same time.

Melie saw Dream aim a good bludger at Remy and Mark dive for the quaffle that Dream had stopped from going into the net. She moved to position herself down the pitch so that once Mark was able to, he could pass it to her, and Melie was in a good position to score.

Mari dodged oncoming bludgers that weren't really aimed toward her and kept an eye on Drake just in case he happened to see the snitch. She was so into finding the snitch, she had lost track of the speedy game. Both teams were fighting really hard for this win and it seemed they were head to head. Mari felt rather relieved that her job was to find a little gold ball instead of trying to push through savages with a giant red ball and get it through a hoop. She smiled to herself slightly, hoping Gryffindor would win when suddenly she saw it.

Suddenly she heard the crowd murmur, and looked back to the game. Dream had intercepted the Quaffle finally, and Mark now had it, and was looking to move it back down the field towards the Slytherin side. She pocketed her wand, and moved back to her goal posts, now at the ready in case the Gryffindor offense made a play to score.

She watched Mark catch the quaffle and take off and she saw that Melie appeared to be available to help Mark move the ball down the pitch if necessary. Dream saw another bludger just a little ways from her and she sped up to get to it. Once she had caught up to it, she slammed her bat into the bludger and sent it straight at Erin in order to provide some distraction for her chasers to do their thing.

Remy dodged the bludger and yelled out "hey watch the hair i just blow dried it" as he took off after dream. His firebolt kept him at her heels and he swept under her at the last minute and suddenly flew up in the air. He grinned as he pointed his broom straight down and began his descent as fast as he could.

Savanah hit a bludger hard towards Cara and scowled when it missed her right ear by inches. She flew up higher, and hit another towards Remy. She swayed on her broom. Up high wasn't the best place for a house-elf.

Dream heard Remy shouting at her and she looked over her shoulder to see him right behind her. Then he dropped underneath her shot up in front of her pointed straight up. Dream grinned and watched him start to fly back down to the game and she flew up to meet him, rubbing her broom up against his to keep him from flying towards her chasers. "Nice bit of fancy flying, Superman. Hope you have stamina and don't get tired cause you'll need to remember how to do that for the duration of the game." she said to him wickedly.

Mark barely had to wait ten second before Melie made a mad dash for the open fileld in a better place to shoot than he currently was. He threw the quaffle across to her with as much speed as he could, the last thing he wanted was an interception now that Melie had a shooting oppertunity.
Mark held his breath as he watched, if Melie took the shot soon then Erin would have a quaffle and bludger flying towards her and the save would be much more difficult.
