Leo was walking towards her common room when she heard a moan coming from the great hall. Leo laughed because it seemed to her that some unlucky first year got some food poisoning, but on closer inspection she saw that it was a seventh year Ravenclaw boy, unlucky, Leo thought, but he looked really sick...REALLY really sick. Leo walked over to him and lifted his arm draping it over his shoulder. He seemed to not be able to move so she picked him up like he was a small child, he gave a small jerk with his hand and in the process he scratched his arm, Leo didn't notice as she made her way to the infirmary.

Leo began to panic as he just kept getting worse and worse, unfortunately she didn't see anyone in the halls but cried out anyway. Leo must had done that a lot because she could feel her voice getting more and more hoarse, and breathing was becoming hard. She looked at the student and saw how he was covered in boils and shaking violently. "We're almost there," she prayed, "hold on," she said when she finally reached the doors to the hospital his movement and breathing ceased, and tried as she might, she could wake him. Leona froze the boy still in her arms as it became apparent that he had died.."Nononononono!" She screamed loudly, "HELP! SOMEBODY!" She croaked as she began feeling dizzy.

Emma ran to where the spot where the others had told her he was laying at. He wasnt there. There were just drops of blood on the floor. She quickly looked back at the two other Ravenclaw Students who told her of what happened to him. "We need to find Matt!" she said quickly, and began to run towards the hospital wing.

Finally she got there, and flew open the doors. She looked around quickly and saw that Leo was holding a very ill Matt. "Oh my god..he's..he's dead!" she cried.

Alfie had been trying to get some much needed rest when Leo came into the hospital wing trying to yell but it came out very quietly.

Alfie ran into the room from her bedroom/office. "What on earth is going on Leo?"

All of the sudden Alfie noticed that there was a boy in Leo's arms and it looked like he was dead. "what in Merlin's beard happened Leo?'"/COLOR]

[COLOR=#66CC33]No sooner did Alfie get these words out and Emma came running into the room and yelled, "Oh my god..he's..he's dead!"

Alfie took her wand and levitated the boy to a bed and started to try and see if she could get the boy to breath. She hoped that Leo would explain everything that had happened while Alfie worked.

"I was on my way back to my room, when I passed him. He was groaning and it sounded at first like he got food poising. I was bringing him up here, when his symptoms got worse and worse," Leo said pausing to push back her feelings of nausea. "He was shaking violently, and he developed those purple boils." Leo explained, right before her knees gave out and fell to the ground.

Erin walked into the hospital wing slowly, scratching at the back of her hands and arms every so often. She had come hoping to get some sort of a cure for the rash, a result of one of her latest experiments She walked in, and her eyes grew wide when she saw the crowd surrounded by what seemed to be a dead Ravenclaw boy.


"What the heck happened here!?!"

Erin yelped, forgetting about the rash, as she ran over to the group.

Alfie started checking the boy's boils that looked like hives to her. Reaching out with her mind Alfie could sence that the boy was just barely alive she took and said, "Accio Matt's records," all of the sudden Matt's records flow to her hand and Alfie began to look them over.

Just as Alfie had thought Matt had alerges. Taking a getting the antidote she put a few drops into Matt's mouth and hoped that it wasn't too late.

As Alfie waited for Matt to show some sign of improvement she heard the door open yet again and saw Erin come into the room scatching her arms. "Oh my stars, what has happened to you?" Alfie asked Erin.

Seeings there wasn't anything more Alfie could do for Matt she went over to Erin to have a look and hear what Erin had to say.

"Oh, ah... hi there Alfie... yeah I'm not really sure what caused the rash... but it itches something fierce."

Erin said, a little hesitantly, not wanting to say exactly what had caused the rashes. She looked curiously over to the Ravenclaw boy. She looked him over curiously, and didn't like what she was seeing. He looked like he was in a real bad condition.

"You sure he's gonna be okay? He lookes really bad... and he doesn't look like hes getting any better..."

Emma watched Alfie tend to Matt. Everyone in the room could see that he wasnt getting better, and his time of recovery was running out. She glanced up at Leo, "Thanks for helping him. I came down right after you left." she said, looking at over Erin to see that she was being cared by Alfie.

"I wonder what happened to him.." she said outloud.

Alfie looked at Erin wondering why Erin's emotions where like she was hideing something.

Not having the time to play any games Alfie took out her weand and pulled a few memories out of MNatt's head hoping that they would give her some leads to why he was in this state.

Carefully Alfie started to place each momory into the penseive and examand them.

As Alfie went from one momory to another Alfie said to Erin, "you know if I don't know what has caused your rash it will be very hard to help you. Are you sure you don't know what caused this?"

"I dunno Alfie... maybe someone hexed me while I was sleeping or something. I did fall asleep in the SLYTHERIN common room."

Erin said, trying not to scratch the rashes anymore than she already did. She didn't really want to say that the rash had come from a combination of several hexes and jinxes all being used in a new invention of hers. Especially since a couple of the jinxes used might land her in detention.

Emma looked back at the boy, who had been dead for about 5 minitues. She had known him pretty well. He was a good student, not a bad charmer and was really, really, almost geeky smart.

She pulled the sheet up higher over his head. She had seen this done all the time at St. Mungo's when someone was dead. Looking back at Erin, she looked her over. There was something about the girl's tone and that she wouldnt really make eye contact, that made Emma think she was lying. "So you think that you were sleeping and someone just came up and tried to hex you. And if that did happen, wouldnt you wake up immediately when the hex hit your skin. And if you did wake up when that happened, wouldnt you have seen who had hexed you, and wouldnt you have alerted your house prefect, Remy?" she asked, finding it hard to believe that someone hexed Erin while she was sleeping.

Alfie gave Erin a look of disbeleif then turned to Emma as Emma said that she didn't beleave Erin. Alfie said to Emma, "Come over here and let's have a talk." As Alfie turned Emma toword her office Alfie handed Erin some salve to put on her rash. "I'll be back to check on your condition in a few minutes."

As Alfie and Emma reached Alfie's office Alfie put a charm to keep anyone from being able to hear what she said to Emma.

"Emma how about you go and ask all the people that saw the boy before he died, maybe they can shed some light on what has happened."

Leona had been lying on the floor for a few minutes, apparently no one noticed that she collapsed and was about to shout but it felt like her throat had swollen shut, which was odd because Leo was pretty sure she wasn't allergic to anything. She made a feeble attempt to kick the floor but she found all movement very difficult.

Emma followed in, and as she did she looked down to see Leo on the floor.."Umm Alfie, you might have another patient!" she said, and then listened to what Alfie said.."Sure, I will check out the area and ask around!" she said and then walked out of the room and out of the wing.

Erin took the salve and quickly put it on, glad to be done with the questioning already. She put it on, and it quickly started to help with the rash, soothing the skin with a cool tingly sensation.

"Wait... another patien-what!?!?"

Erin said, as she heard Emma telling Alfie about Leo, then she saw for herself, and her eyes went wide. Leo had collapsed, and obviously was having issues with moving. Running over, Erin knelt by Leo, and motioned to Alfie that they should lift her onto a bed.

"Let's get her up on a bed... if that Ravenclaw boy is like that we don't want Leo getting the same way. Scourgify"

Erin said, and quickly cleaned up the area, not sure of the words for a disinfecting charm of any sort... it was better than nothing... and whatever the Ravenclaw boy and Leo suffered from, it seemed contagious...VERY contagious.

Leo was lying on the floor and Emma had noticed it Alfie quickly used her wand to levitate Leo onto a bed as Erin knelt by Leo. Then Erin started cleaning the place and Alfie waved her wand to get a mop, bucket, some clothes and disifectant to clean the place better for the spell that Erin unsed would clean the place but germs could still be left behind.

Alfie then looked around to see if Dr. Barnes was still around. He had been staying in Hogwarts for he felt he could help and people where not afraid of him here. He could help as he could never do in the muggle world.

"Dr. Barnes are you still around," Alfie hoped that he was in the room so that he would here her. He did not always remain visible.

Dr. Barnes took and said, "Yes Alfie is there anything I can do for you?"

"Dr. is there a way you can tell me how to check the blood and things to find out what is going on with these two children?"

Erin looked wide eyed around for this 'Doctor Barnes' and did not see him. She gave Leo a good long look, and saw some faint traceries of magic lingering around her throat.

"Alfie... whatever this is, its being caused by magic... and its spreading..."

She said worriedly, seeing the magic slowly working its way down Leo's throat to her lungs.

As Alfie saw Dr. Barnes and began to talk to him Erin called Alfie and said that it was being caused by magic, and it was spreading.

As Alfie started to walk towards Leo Dr. Barnes made sure that all could see his translucent form. Lowering his head to check Leo before Alfie could he notice something and said, "Alfie, the young lady is right but I'm not to sure which spell was used. Maybe you should use the charm to identify the spell."

Alfie nodded her head and moved her wand saying the charm. Alfie then saw that the color around Leo's throat and al the way down to her lungs.

"This is a very hard spell to beat" Alfie said. Then Alfie looked at Dr. Barnes and ask what he thought might be a good way to break this and not hurt Leo or the others that might get it.
