OOC:

In this story Rupin just woke up in his usual bed in the Hufflepuff dorm.
Nothing wrong with that.
However over night while he was asleep he was transported into the past.
The last thing he can remember is going to sleep after a hard days work.

The story opens with Rupin waking up.
Little does he know that that today will change his life...past, present and future...forever.

BIC:

Rupin yawned and woke up in his usual Hufflepuff bed…or at least that’s what he thought it was…
‘Ah another day at Hogwarts’ he thought lazily as he reached out for his wand, which usually rested on his night shelf…only he couldn’t find it.

Slightly annoyed he opens his eyes and let out a scream.

“AHHH”

Some one was in bed with him…
Worse…it was someone he didn’t recognise.

“Who the hell are you?” he shouts in alarm as he jumps out of bed.

The other occupant also screams and jumps out too, as do multiple others all around from different beds.

Nearly everybody fumbles for their wands and begin to point them at Rupin.

Rupin holds up his hands in surrender. (He didn’t find his own wand…in fact he never even found his own trunk)

“Hey…ok ok…I mean no harm” he says quickly

But it was no use…
“Stupify! Expelliarmus” a few of the strangers say and a second later Rupin hits the ground stunned…everything went black…

Rupin wakes up again to the sound of voices.

“Ah, maybe now we can have a few answers” a very unfriendly voice calls out, having realised that Rupin was awake.

Rupin opens his eyes and sits up in alarm.

“Who the hell are you?” Rupin screams out. He didn’t recognise the man.

“I’d like to ask that same questions to you?” said the same voice

Rupin looked around. ‘I am in the hospital wing…but who are all of these people’ he asks himself.


“The man who spoke first, sneers…”yes this is the hospital wing…not hard to guess that really…Who Are you? “ he asked again in a cold voice. His wand was pointing at Rupin head.

“Er…I’m Rupin…Rupin Cybergate…er who are you” asked Rupin….he really wasn’t feeling well. That the strange man had just used Legimancy on him did not make it much better either.

“Cybergate?....there is not Cybergate at Hogwarts at present is there?” another voice unfamiliar voice asked.

“Who are you?” Rupin asked again anxiously.

The man sneered..” No Minerva…definitely not…this is probably an impostor…not a Death Eater though…. Unless I’m very much mistaken..” the cold voice answered, ignoring Rupin.

‘Minerva?’ Rupin thought ….’Who is Minerva…?’

“What is this trick…who are you” he screamed out again…now really annoyed…

The woman seemed to take pity on Rupin as the next thing that Rupin heard changed his life forever.

“My name is Minerva McGonagall, deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts and this is Professor Severus Snape….”

She never got to finish the introduction as Rupin had fainted.

Dawn seeped through the window of Scarlett's dorm. She squinted annoyed. Alfie's plants usually hungrily blocked the sunlight from thier room until about 10 o'clock. As Scarlett looked around though she saw no plants. Also no Alfie or Bella her cat. There were other girls sleeping in the room, but she did not recognize any of them. Scarlett's heart began to beat very fast. She didn't know where she was. She tried to get quietly out of bed but she tripped on unfamiliar shoes. A red haired girl sat up and stared at her. "Who are you?" She demanded.
"I am Scarlett," Scarlett replied. "I must have got the wrong room last night. I'll go."
"But I don't know you at all. How could you have gotten into our common room."
"I went to sleep in my own dorm last night." Scarlett said her mind groping for the memory of her nightly routine of 100 brush strokes and then slipping under the covers and off to sleep.
"I think we better go to the nurses office," stated the red haired girl. Other girls were starting to stir.
"That sounds fine to me," said Scarlett knowing Alfie would straighten this mess out.
The bushy haired girl led Scarlett through the Gryffindor common room. Scarlett hoped they'd run into Dream, who would probably tell this stranger off. They saw no one. The halls were pretty empty this morning, but one or two people, that Scarlett didn't recognize did say hello to the girl leading Scarlett. This worried Scarlett greatly.
Finally they reached the nurses office where Scarlett saw some familiar faces that greatly unnerved her. The first was Professor Snape, whose picture she had seen in a news paper and who she knew to be dead and the second was Rupin.

Previous on ‘meet the past’: (Rupins story)

“My name is Minerva McGonagall, deputy Headmistress of Hogwarts and this is Professor Severus Snape….”

She never got to finish the introduction as Rupin had fainted.

BIC:
The moment Rupin fainted, the nurse quickly rushed to his side.
“What happened?” she asked as she examined him.
Severus just sneered again. “Seems to be a weakling…can’t even handle my name anymore...what are we coming to” he joked.
Minerva gave him a queer look.
“Was that a joke?” she asked.
Severus just raised an eyebrow at that but didn’t answer.

Just then the door to the hospital wing opened and two students walked inside.

Minerva immediately turned to the newcomers.
“Miss Weasley, what are you doing here ” “It's way past curfew,” she asked in a strict voice, giving the girl a frown.

“Sorry professor but …I’m not really sure how to say this but…I just woke up and well…”

“Will you get on with it Miss Weasely we don’t have all day” Severus said in a annoyed voice.

The girl jumped slightly and quickly continued to speak.

“I woke up and found this girl here in my bed with me…I’ve never seen her before” she added, anxious to get away from the potions master.

Hearing this, Minerva’s eyebrows rose and she looked at Scarlett
“What were you doing in miss Weasleys bed…and while we are at it who are you? She demanded angrily. "Your not one of my Gryffindors".

“Oh what are we coming to, first him and now her…sleeping in other peoples beds…I’m just glad 'my' Slytherins know some manners…always knew we were too lax with the rules around here,” Severus said quietly to himself shaking his head.

Minerva gave him a deadly glare before turning back to Scarlet

“Well…What do you have to say for yourself?” she asked angrily.
It was clear to see that she was not in a good mood at that moment.

Just then a flash of green could be seen coming from the hospital fire place and a very old looking man stepped out.

“Whats going on ?...I heard we have a few unexpected visitors…” the man said as he took a few steps forward taking in Rupins fainted form before turning to look at Scarlet…

“Whats your name…Miss….?” He asked with a twinkle in his eyes.

"But I am a Gryffi-" Scarlett tried to say before she was interrupted by Professor Snape. Scarlett was scared because she had no idea what was going on, but she was about to let grouchy old lady know exactly what she had to say for herself, when the fire place lit up. Scarlett was completely taken aback because she had never seen flames that color of green, and never, never seen anyone emerge from fire like that.
Scarlett didn't know what to make of a man whom fire did not touch, but she raised her chin and looked him straight in his twinkling eye. "Miss Scarlett Carrington sir. 2nd year Gryffindor. And who might you be?"

BIC:

The old man looked surprised as Scarlett asked who he might be.
“Dear me…Iv’e never had that before,” he said in an amused voice.

“Indeed” said Snape somewhat bored.…
”Perhaps we should ask Mr Potter to join us, then the fan club would be complete” he added, a comment which earned him another glare from Minerva.
Dumbledore however ignored it. If anything his twinkle seemed to increase.

“Well, miss Carrington…let me introduce myself…my name is Albus Percival Wulfric Brian Dumbledore”
“Headmaster of Hogwarts school of Witchcraft and Wizardry”
After saying this Dumbledore paused for a second.

“Hmm…Carrington did you say…you wouldn’t be related to a 5th year Hufflepuff … Grady Carrington would you?” he asked with raised eyebrows.


From the bed Rupin had just woken up to hear Dumbledore announce himself.

‘Oh no…nonono…it can’t be…but it is him…just like his portrait...but it can’t be…he…Dumbledore…he ‘ Rupin thought

“That can’t be…you di..”… “er…”

Rupin just stopped himself in time, before he could finish the last few words…

“What was that?” asked Snape, who was now giving him a queer look.

“Er…that can’t be…we are not supposed to be here…at Hogwarts…er…we were… staying at a small inn for the night just a few minutes ago…we shouldn’t be here” Rupin lied, saying the first few words which came to his mind.

“What do you mean you shouldn’t be here?” Snape asked now glaring at Rupin…

“Just what I said…we were staying at an inn …before we somehow appeared here…I don’t know what happened”…”I have no idea why we are here” Rupin said again looking at Scarlett as he said this.

‘ Please play along…please’ he thought, really wishing that Scarlet could somehow hear him. ‘They are not allowed to know’


“Really, hmmm, lets see” said Snape in a gruff voice…

A second later Rupin felt his mind being invaded and he quickly put up some Occlumency shields…

“Stay out of my mind” he said angrily, pushing Snape out.

Snape raised his eyebrows in surprise as he was pushed out .
‘Impressive…very impressive,’ he thought then he turned towards Scarlet.

A second later he tried to enter her mind instead.

Scarlett's mouth swung open at Dumbledore's introduction. But she though she covered her shock well and said, "Well sir, I'm American so I'm bound to say some odd things now and then. I do know who you are though and I am honored to meet you. And so unless Grady is American I we are probably not related." Scarlett did not let on that the name was very, very familiar to her, but she doubted it could be the same man she knew as Daddy, because to her knowlegde, she was the first in her family to attend Hogwarts. Besides if the Grady Dumbledore was referring to was her father she'd have a hard time explaining what his sixteen-year-old daughter was doing in the nurse's office.
It was at this point that Scarlett heard Rupid saying something akward. Scarlett hoped he'd recover himself, because if he let these people know how and when they died...Scarlett didn't know much about paradox, but even she knew that would be bad.
Professor Snape had picked up on it though and Rupin came out with some story about an inn. Professor Snape wasn't buying it though. He seemed to be concentrating on Rupin. By the sound of it Snape did not have much luck invading Rupin's mind.
Then he turned his glittering black gaze on Scarlett. She was frightened for Professor Snape because she didn't want him to know how or why he had died. Scarlett shoved all she knew about him in to a corner of her mind and locked it tight. Suddenly Scarlett felt the force of his will slam at her mind. She knew nothing of Occlumency, but Scarlett had had many traumatic experiences in her life and she had made a habit of hiding them from herself. Also unknown to her many things had been hidden in her mind from her by others. As Snape wracked her brain for her memories and thoughts all Scarlett could see was a hallway filled with doors that wouldn't open and meaningless frivolous things like snippets of gossip and where the best sales were. After some time of mentally rattling knobs Snape gave up. "This one is simple. Her mind is like a blank slate."
His words were cutting and Scarlett felt rage and violation well up inside her. "What would you know you filthy animal," she screamed at him. "You have left your greasey finger prints all over my mind. What kind of person does that to another?! If you ever dare that again I swear I will gouge your eyes out."
Snape gave her a cold dissmissive smile that did not reach his eyes. "That won't be necessary. You know nothing worth knowinig."

Alfie had been in green house three. She had need of a special plant and when she had finished getting it and was dehydrating the plant she desided to take a nap.

When Alfie woke up she looked around and found that there where Mandrake plants in with her and her dehydraters where gone.
"What in Merlins beard is going on, who moved the plants around?"

Heading toward the door Alfie saw Professor Sprout. "How has this happened," Alfie thought.

Getting her composure back Alfie looked at the Herbology teacher and said, "Good morning Professor Spout." Hoping that the professor would not notice that one of them was out of place.

"I must head to the hospital wing, there has to be something wrong with me."

In no time at all Alfie reached the hospital wing and could not beleave her eyes, there in the room was Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape all in the room with Scarlett and Rupin.

Alfie in shock said, "Hello professors Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape," nodding her head as she said each of their names.

Snape's words enflamed Scarlett even further and she could feel a tickle in the back of her throat. She was about to open her mouth and spew forth more hate, but a voice she recognized stopped her like a bucket of cold water in the face. It was Alfie greeting the Professors. She almost said the woman's name out loud, but she didn't want to identify Alfie as belonging with herself and Rupin and so expose her to Snape's rifleings. She waited to see what the adults would do.

Alfie looked at Scarlett and then at Rupin. Without another word Alfie went over to Rupin and asked if he was alright.

Looking into the faces of each of the professors Alfie asked, "what has happened here? Why are these two here? Are they both sick?"

Alfie looked at Dumbledore and McGonagall hoping one of them would answer her.

The last time she had seen them she was looking for a job but the only possitions they had open where ones Alfie felt she would no do justice to.

Snape was looking at Alfie and she looked at him with the same look she wear the last time she had seen him and come to ask for a job, not knowing at that time that Snape had really turned from being a Deatheater.

Ankaa had been out all night, running round in the forest in her cat form, chasing bats and rats and generally having a great time. She had sat watching the sun come up over the lake and then decided she'd better get back to her dorm before everyone else woke up. However, as she turned to leave the shelter of the trees, she caught her front paw in a hidden root and twisted it. She immediately let out a yowl of pain and transformed herself back into human form. Her arm was rapidly swelling up to double its size, and she knew shehad to go to Alfie to get it mended. She made a loose sling out of her cloak and trotted off to the hopital wing.

As she arrived there, she pushed the door open with her foot and entered the room backwards so as not to bang her arm on the door. She saw Alfie and started over to her to explain about her wrist. Then she heard other voices and turned to see a crowd of people.

"You're busy this morning Alfie. Have you had an epidemic or something?"

She then looked closely at the people and saw that she recognised them all. She recognised the familiar faces of Professors Dumbledore, McGonall and Snape from the history books she'd read in school.

Professor Snape... her all time hero...she'd had a crush on him for as long as she could remember and now he was standing here in the room with her. She rushed closer to the group and stood right in front of Snape. She stared closely at him for a few seconds

"You, you don't look like a ghost, yet you must be."

She could feel hysteria setting in and suppressed a giggle "I guess there's one good way to find out"

She rushed over to him and planted a bit kiss right on his lips. Instead of passing straight through him as she had thought she would, she met firm, warm flesh and quickly pulled away, gasping with shock and blushing furiously. She backed off rapidly and reversed straight into, she turned round, Rupin! Not only was her all time crush here, but she had just kissed him in front of her boyfriend. To cover her blushes she whispered to Rupin

"What's going on?"

Then Snape bellowed "What is the meaning of this?! I demand to know what's going on here. Is this some trick of yours Weasley?!"

He spun round, dark eyes flashing, to stare at a red haired girl who was standing next to Scarlett. Scarlett too! Ankaa was more confused by the second. She turned to look at Rupin and raised an eyebrow in question as she waited for him to answer her.

OOC:
Whoa!!!… give me a chance to catch up…this is overwhelming me…

BIC:

Rupin watched with bated breath as Snape tried to enter Scarlett’s mind.
He knew that Scarlet had no real Occlumency training, so for a second he was very worried.
Then Snape pulled out of her mind.
Rupin couldn’t believe it when Snape dismissed her.
‘What…how could he not,’ Rupin thought to himself totally astonished.

‘If I remember correctly...Wasn’t Snape supposed to have been a great Legilimence before he died,’ he asked himself in his thoughts.

Rupin was still wondering about this small miracle of a escape when Alfie walked into the hospital wing.

What she said, surprised Rupin even more..


"Hello professors Dumbledore, McGonagall, and Snape,"

The way she said them, was like as if she wasn’t even surprised to see them.

‘What the hell…’ he thought.

‘How does she know them….Snape and Dumbledore died during the last war…and of the three Minerva was the only one still alive today…at a age of 145 and she was long since retired…what the hell is happening here,’ Rupin thought again, frantically looking for an answer, but finding none.


He was beginning to get a headache.

Then Alfie went over to him and asked him whether he was alright.

Rupin just looked at her opened his mouth to speak but no words came out. I the end he simply shrugged. What was he supposed to say at that moment…he was just too confused to answer.

A minute later, the four ‘former’ staff members recovered from their shocks.

Poppy noticed Alfie walking to Rupin:

“Hey what do you think your doing…” she asked, suddenly concerned about her patient.

“Do I know you?” She asked Alfie looking at her strangely.

“And anyway…there are way to many people here at this moment….everybody who is not supposed to be here… out” she said loudly in a commanding voice.

At that moment Dumbledore was about to speak up only to be interrupted by the door to the hospital wing opening again and Ankaa walked in.

At that moment Snape started to scream…”oh no…not another one…I have been calm so far…but this is enough….who the hell do you all think you all are ..”

Dumbledore voice also boomed out “SILENCE”

In a much quieter voice:
“Follow me into my private meeting chambers…this is most disturbing…never before…I have no idea what is happening here, but I know that this is not right…I don’t know any of you…how did you all get in here”

Dumbledore raised his hand before anybody else could answer…

“You, and you,”.he said pointing at Alfie and Scarlett…follow me into my private meeting room…” “As for the two of two,” he said pointing at Rupin and Ankaa “stay here until I come back”.

With those last few words Dumbeldore stepped back into the fireplace and said “ Headmasters private conference room” and with a flash of green he was gone.

Snape motioned for Alfie and Scarlett to follow.

Minerva however opted to stay behind and watch over Rupin and Ankaa.

In a much kinder voice she spoke to Ankaa:

“And who might you be? “ she asked, already resigning herself to a chaotic day.

While all of this was happening Ankaa was looking expectantly at Rupin for an answer, but Rupin didn’t know what to say.
He was never as confused as at this moment in his whole life.

Seeing the questioning look in Ankaas eyes he just shrugged

“Don’t know Ankaa, all I remember was us together arm in arm, in our inn room, before I suddenly woke up in the Hufflepuff dorm”..he lied trying to build up around his pervious story…
Then he blushed beet red at what he had just said.

His little speech was meant more for Minervas ears than Ankaas of course. In fact he didn’t know what to say to Ankaa at that moment. All he hoped was that Ankaa would play along.

Poopy looked at him and Ankaa with a piercing glare…

Rupin just hoped that Ankaa would play along for now…

“What do you mean by that….” Poppy asked.

Then she looked at Rupin and Ankaa…”Are you a couple?” she asked.

Rupin cringed slightly at those words and looked at Ankaa, his thoughts were in disarray …
He wasn’t sure what was happening, and that worried him greatly.

Ankaa had just turned to answer McGonagall by saying

"I'm Ankaa Smowl. I'm a 2nd year Slytherin here at the school, but not in your time. I don't understand how you came to be here."

Just then she heard Rupin telling the other adult that they had been staying in a inn together. And not only together but TOGETHER! She glared at him as the woman then turned to ask Ankaa if they were a couple.

Ankaa continued to give Rupin a stern look and shook her head at him as she answered

"Yes we are, our families arranged the betrothal and they're more than happy for us to spend time together, on our own."

She moved closer to Rupin and grabbed his hand. She dug her nails into him just to remind him that she was mad with him and muttered under her breath "Don't say another word. You really need to think a bit more before you speak."

She turned back to McGonagall

"Where have they taken Alfie and Scarlett off to? I don't think we should be kept apart, who knows what else might happen here."

Scarlett was agast that Ankaa had kissed Snape. The filthy scum bag had just raped her mind and Ankaa kissed him. Scarlett thought she was going to be sick.
Confusion reigned for a few moments and then Dumbledore disappeared into the fireplace just as he had emerged. Snape seemed to Scarlett and Alfie to follow but Scarlett did not want to go. She was afraid of fire and she did not want to go. "We can walk to the Headmaster's office thank you, we know the way." She said haughtily in her most cutting tone. And she turned to leave through the door that lead out into the rest of Hogwarts.
"No you will not," sneered Snape. "The Headmaster is a busy man and he hasn't the time to be wasting while you stroll through the school making you way to his office at you leisure, if that was ever your intention."
Scarlett struggled against Snape's grip hating his touch, but he was stronger than she. He grabbed a handful of greenish powder and tossed it on the fire which lept up green again. Scarlett was near hysterical with fear as Snape dragged her to the fireplace. She didn't hear exactly what he said as he shoved her into the flames because she was too busy trying to get away. At the last moment she reached out and clawed his face with her nails leaving streaks of blood as she was whorled away up the chiminey.
Scarlett spun dizzily seeing only one fireplace on the way to Dumbledore's office. She landed in a gasping, weeping heap on the floor of a magical place. She was overwhelmed by all that passed downstairs and chose to lay there for a moment trying to recover herself.

Ooc: Sorry to be the Hermione in the bunch, but I guess you all haven't read the books very well. Hermione has told Harry and Ron that is says in Hogwarts a History that you can not move by magic inside Hogwarts so to use the fireplaces like you all have just can't be done.

Bic:

Alfie know that Rupin was very confused she could feel it but she also knew that they couldn't lie to any of the adults in the room.

When Poppy noticed Alfie walking to Rupin: and then said, “Hey what do you think your doing…” suddenly concerned about her patient. “Do I know you?” She asked Alfie looking at her strangely.

Alfie looked at Poppy and said, "of corse you know me. I am Elizabeth Witcomb a 7th year and have helped you during the last Dragon pox episode. Nurse Poppy are you feeling Okay?"

Alfie know that she looked like her Grasndmother Elizabeth and that Elizabeth had helped the nurse a few times in the hospital wing.

All of the sudden in came Ankaa and after says something showing her disbeleave of what she saw Ankaa placed a kiss on Snapes lips and Alfie felt a rush of fear happiness and then shame come from Ankaa.

Alfie heard Dumbledore tell all in the room to be silent and for Scarlett and herself to go with him for a meeting. Alfie watched as Dumbledore used the floo podwer and thought, he must have took off the spell that would not allow this kind of thing to happen.

Alfie followed Dumbledore without a question, she wanted to just get this over with.

When Alfie appeared in the room Scarlett made an attempt to get a hold of herself, knowing that it bothered Alfie when she let her emotions run out of control. She looked up and met Dumbledore's kind blue eyes.
"Now ladies," he addressed them both "I need to know how you and your companions came to be on Hogwarts grounds. These are very dangerous times and if there is a break in my security then I need to know how to deal with it."
Scarlett looked at the greatest Headmaster the school had ever known and weighed her options. She hadn't been raised up on the glorious tales of Dumbledore the way that some people had, but she knew my her Grandmother's reaction to Dumbledore's death that she had respected him and that was a hard thing to earn. Scarlett decided that she would be honest with the headmaster without giving him details that could drive him mad. "Professor Dumbledore, please believe me when I say that we intend no threat to you or your school. We really are students here, but, I know this is going to sound crazy, but we attend a future Hogwarts. I don't know how we got sent back in time, but I for one would like to go home before we do any damage."
The twinkle in Dumbledore's eyes sharpened until Scarlett felt it would bore a hole in her. Dumbledore then focused his gaze on Alfie. "I seem to recall you applying for a job here a few years ago. Did you find employment at this future Hogwarts that Ms. Carrington speaks of?"

Alfie looked at Dumbledore, then took out a potion and drank it. "I headmaster am Alrerretta Herbs, but everyone calls me Alfie. I am the grand daughter of Elizabeth Witcomb and Goerge Adam Herbs. I am also the grand daughter of Alferretta York and Paul Earl Ellis. What Scsrlett says is true and please don't ask us any questions about the future."

Alfie then thought about what she knew of the whole Potter thing and wondered if she was to tell Dumbledore something. Maybe that was why they where sent back to this time, not to save Dumbledore but to make sure he did the right thing so Harry could finish the job he had to do.

"Professor Sir, we might be able to help make sure the future is save if you gave us some information about what you have planed. We know that everything must go just like it did before or we may not get born. I am of the opion that we where sent back here to make sure everything stays on track. Do you think that is possible?"

Alfie know the whole story backwards and forwards so she would not tell Dumbledore anything that was not going to happen or make a mistake and let him anything that might make things go the wrong way. It hurt to know that she would have to let Dumbledore die but if she didn't everything in the future would be wrong. Alfie then took off her pack and started looking for her U.S.A. Idenification to show Dumbledore that way he would know she and Scarlett was telling the truth.

"Ms. Herbs, please don't trouble your self finding Identification." Dumbledore's voice was kind and reasurring. "I believe what you and Ms. Carrington say. I will ask no further questions." At this juncture his voice became grave. "I fear even answering one question will change the course I have set. I think it far more likely that you have been sent back in hopes that you will let something slip and change the outcome for the worse. I will have to decide what is to be done with you until I can figure out how to get you back where you belong."
Scarlett stood quietly listening to the interchange between her elders. She didn't know much about British Wizarding History and she was aware that if she opened her mouth the wrong thing could spill out.

Alfie looked into Dumbledore's eyes and said, "that is very wise, you are as the future pictures you. Do you think that one of Voldemort's followers may have something to do with this? I would myself not put it passed them after all he has fooled a lot of wizards into following him. They beleave that they will get power if that do as he says."

Alfie was very interested in what Dumbledore would say and then she started to think of a way to keep everyone from talking to anyone from this time frame.

"Professor it might be a good idea if we from the future go to the...." Alfie let the words fall off so as not to tell about the room of requirments incase it hadn't been found by harry or the others yet. "I mean is there a room that can provide everything that we woulkd need to survive until you find a way to return us to our time. One that we can control who we let in? I was also wondering if you could tell us what the date is and in which year Harry Potter is in at this time. I almost made a mistake with the question that I started to ask and trailed off of so it would be of great help to know what year it is."

Alfie had a feeling that it was around the fifth year for Harry and the others of his friends but wasn't too sure at this point. Hermione Alfie thought was said to be a prefect and that would make it where Harry had are would just find that room.

"This is not good if this is the fifth year for Harry, I must know the year he is in, please tell me."

Dumbledore looked At Alfie with a strange look on his face but the twinkle was still in his eyes.

All of the sudden someone came into the room, "Headmaster we have a problem in the main hall, please come quickly." Professor Sinestra said.

Rupin watched his other friends leave through the floo system and hoped that they would not say something, which they might regret.

Seeing that the fate of the future now rested in their meeting with the famous Dumbledore---it was like a dream to Rupin to actually have met the man--- Rupin turned his thoughts back towards Ankaa.

For a second he groaned when se said that she was not from their time.
‘Well there goes our freedom’ he thoughts dismally.

He was about to say something in an attempt to ‘rectify’ the situation but quickly closed his mouth when he heard Ankaas quiet yet obvious warning.

"Don't say another word. You really need to think a bit more before you speak."

“What about you” he hissed “ They were not supposed to know from ‘when’ we came”

Silently Rupin allowed Ankaa to handle the retired headmistress.

"Where have they taken Alfie and Scarlett off to? I don't think we should be kept apart, who knows what else might happen here."

Said Professor eyed her with hawk like eyes and for a second she seemed to be considering whether to answer.
Finally she simply answered with:

“Headmasters Office”

“Did I just hear you correctly…did you just say that you are from the…future?” she asked.
"What did you just say?" asked Poppy who turned her head to look at Minerva and Ankaa with surprise and some shock evident on her face

"I am sorry Alfie, but I will not divulge that information to you. The less we know about each others respective times the safer it will be." Dumbledore's admonishment was kind but firm. "But I agree that you should all be sequestered until we can find a way to get you back when you should be. If you know of a place in the castle then trust that you will find you way there. For now I think it is prudent to gather you all together in Hospital Wing."

Just as Dumbledore stopped speaking Professor Sinestra came running in with her announcement.

Alfie could not beleave her ears, "Professor, I must disagree with you. I myself need to know when we are so that we will not be where we shouldn't. If there is a fight we must not help and if there is going to be something going on around here thst might involve the hospital wing we must not be there. It is very hard to do the right thing if I don't know anything about the date. Please help me keep everything going the right way."

Alfie wasn't sure if Dumbledore understood but being the man that he was Alfie felt that it just might make sence, even though he didn't know that it asn't him that sent them back in time.

"Professor beleave me we where not sent here to do anything, so it is important to know when we are at in your time."

Dumbledor held up his hand as if to stave Alfie off. "All right Ms. Herbs, you have convinced me. I will tell you what you want to know. Harry is now in his third year at this school and I am afriad we all fear there may be someone hunting him. I will let you make your way to safe place you speak of and send your friends along as soon as they are able."

Scarlett listened to the interchange between Dumbledore and Alfie. She tried to keep her face carefully blank so as not to give anything away, but when Dumbledore gave the year of Harry's education and the information that the boy was being hunted, Scarlett's mobile brows contracted with concern. She wished she could tell Dumbledore what was really going on. She needed to leave before she did someting rash. "Thank you sir, your right we should leave." She said to the headmaster.

As Dumbledore told Alfie the time Alfie then said, "thank you Professor but we need to get to our friends and make sure they come with us. They may not think of the same place that I am thinking of and I can not tell you of the place for you do not know of it. May we return to the hospital wing and get them. At the school I am the nurse there and can take care of them."

Dumbledore smiled and said, "as I am at a disadvantage on what to do I will have to take your word for it and let you do as you have sugested."

Ankaa squeezed Rupin's hand and whispered back to him

"Too late now. The cat's out of the bag as it were."

She stood up straight and looked the teacher and nurse in the eye

"You heard me right, we're from the future. I can't speak for the others but when I went to bed last night, I was in my own time. When I got up, I was in yours. I don't think we should be wandering around the school like this. You see, we know your story, in fact, every witch and wizard knows it, it's famous in our time. We know what happens to you, yet we cannot be allowed to interfere because by changing the past, we're bound to change the future. We need to get back to our own time and we need your help."

She looked at Rupin for reassurance and was disappointed, but not surprised to see that he looked like he didn't agree with her.

Alfie nodded her head at Dumbledore and said to Scarlett, "lets get back to the others so they don't say something that might make it to where we where never born."

Looking back to Dumbledore Alfie said, "professor I think it a good idea for one of use to check with you every hour or two to see if any of you have found a way to return us to our own time, that way you will not know where we are hiding."

Alfie and Scarlett where aloud to use the fireplace to get back to the hospital wing so that no more people would run into them and ask questions.

Scarlett very reluctantly climbed into the fire place with Alfie and was whorled into the hospital wing, just in time to see Ankaa make her speech about being from the future. Scarlett sighed heavily and moved to Ankaa and Rupin, saying quietly that Alfie had a place for them to all hide until someone figured out how to get them back where they belonged.

As Alfie came out of the fire place she heard Ankaa telling that they where from the future and then Scarlett went over and told them that we where going to a place that Alfie knew of.

Alfie gave a look that said you shouldn't have told them anything, Alfie knew that it was bad enough to have told Dumbledore as much as she did and the fewer people that knew the better.

"Okay everyone," Alfie looked at Scarlett, Rupin and Ankaa. "Come with me, and I must insist that none of you others follow us for the place that I am going none of you know about and it will hurt the future."

Alfie went toward the door and waited for the others to reach her before she left the room.

Scarlett caught Alfie's look and stared back blankly. She had been vague and quiet when explaining to Ankaa and Rupin about the plan. Scarlett didn't even know what magical room Alfie was talking about so she couldn't have given any details away. Scarlett headed for the door to follow along and see where this adventure was leading.

Rupin was not very happy that 'everybody' now seemed to know about the future...or rather that they...the four of them where from the future.

'Now they will never give us any freedom' he thought dismally.

"Well, since the cat is out of the bag...," he started to say but stopped when the fire flared up again and Scarlett and Alfie stepped out into the infirmary again.

'Oh I forgot there are these two too to worry about' Rupin reminded himself.
'Oh what the heck..might as well to all out now'

"As I was saying since everybody now seems to know that we are from he future...lets try the best to get along...ok...now as...?," Rupin continued to say then Alfie summoned everybody to follow her:
"Come with me, and I must insist that none of you others follow us for the place that I am going none of you know about and it will hurt the future."

Rupin frowned for a second annoyed that he had been interrupted...again... but quickly caught on what Afie meant by what she said...

"Ah good idea" he answered..the less they know at this moment the better..." he added quickly.

Rupin had a very good idea where Alfie wanted to lead them too...'the fabled Room of Requirement...of course'

Looking at Scarlett and Ankaa he gave them a glance..."might as well get this over with...the sooner we know what to do, the better" he said out loud.

He was just about to follow the rest out of the door, when Snape stopped them. from leaving.

(Dumbledore and Minerva had left to see what the problem was, and only Snape and Poppy were left behind.)

"Where do you think your going, nobody leaves this room" he said walking forward to block their way, his wand out, pointing at the quartet.

Scarlett bristled at the sound of Snape's voice. She would never forget how he had pushed himself into her mind. "Professor Dumbledore has given us permission to leave. He is the Headmaster at this school not you," she spat the words scornfully at the greasy haired man.

Alfie stepped beside Scarlett, "I think I can get the good Professor to move if you will allow me to talk to him alone for a couple of minutes Scarlett."

Alfie then looked at the others in hopes that they too would walk back to the other side of the room and take Maddam Pomfry with them.

"Just to know Professor, do you beleave we are from the future?"

As Alfie asked this question Snape stated, "I most certanly do not, I think you all are trying to fool us and have something to do with all that is going on."

Alfie gave a smile and looked at the others. "Just as I thought, yes if I could have just a few minutes with the Professor I knowe that I can convince him that we are telling the truth, without giving any information about the future."

Alfie waited to see if the others would give her the time and space she needed before she would continue.

Scarlett turned her back on Snape, being unable to stand the sight of him any longer. "Whatever you say Alfie," Scarlett said as she headed for the other side of the room.

Hoping that Scarlett would keep Maddam Pomfry busy in case the others didn't go with her Alfie then turned to Snape. She was not going to let him get any information that he didn't allready know. "Professor I know that you were in love with Lily Evans (Potter) and that you told Professor Dumbledore that Voldamort would not save Lily as you then asked for his help to save her. It didn't work and Dumbledore told you that if you really loved Lily you would help save her son. Now will you please let us go so that we don't change the future?"

Alfie refused to look away from Snape and just stared at him waiting to see if he would move aside.

As Scarlett made her way to the other side of the room she pretended to stumble a bit and then put her hand to her head. "I-I feel a faint." After saying that she promptly swooned, crumpling in such a way that she didn't hit her head on the floor. Being the good nurse that she was Madam Pomfry hurried to Scarlett on the other side of the room and started administering to her.

Snape was about to let everyone pass when he caught site of Alfies School colours.

"Oh no you don't...A Gryffindor is not going to trick me...even if want you say is true...I won't let you pass..." he said in a spiteful voice.

Instead of allowing anybody through he moved in front of the door making it even more difficult to go through it.

Rupin scowled angrily as he saw this but kept his cool.

Stepping forward he said:

"Professor, what she says is true...if you don't believe her, then at least believe me ...or better still believe Ankaa...shes a Slytherin" Rupin said trying to convince the stubborn professor.

"please sir" he added

Snape gave Rupin another of his angry scowls but he still didn't move.

"You" he said looking straight at Ankaa...

"Is is true what ...they say?" he said pointing at the two Gryffindors, which caused Rupin to roll his eyes slightly at Snapes comment.

'I always knew that the old stories were right...Snape really was an immature git' he thought as he waited for Ankaa to answer.

Alfie could no longer stand what Snape was doing so she used a non verbal spell and made it to where he could not move.

"I am so sorry but Professor Snape you are way out of your element right now, we know everything you have done and so I know your weaknesses. I will tell you one more thing that no one here but Dumbledre himself would never disclose to any of us. You met Lily Evans in the muggle world and you helped her to learn some of the things she would need at school here, you also got mad when you found out the her sister wrote a letter to Dumbledore himself. The reason was because you couldn't figure out why Lily's sister was getting a letter from him and so you intercepted the letter and read it."

Alfie looked Snape in the eyes and then made him fly to a bed and confused his mind in a way so that he couldn't stop any of them from leaving.

"Hurry everyone let's get out of here." As soon as they where out she told them very quickly, "we are going to the Room of Requirements and we best hurry so we will be out of sight."

Alfie said all this as she continued to run down the hall.

Scarlett watched the scene between Alfie Snape and Rupin from beneath lowered lashes as Madam Pomfry tended to her. Scarlett couldn't help the smile that twitched her lips when Alfie gave Snape what he deserved. She made a miraculis recovery and headed out the door with her friends wondering what the Room of Requirment was.

Rupin was just about to hex Snape himself when Alife did the honors herself.

'Ah damn...I'm always too late' he thoughts as he watched Snape float into a bed.
'I'm surprised that Poppy isn't stopping us' he thought as he looked at her.

Poppy however was too busy dealing with Snape, who had just been 'silenced'.

Quickly before she could say anything, or otherwise stop them, Rupin gave a meaningful look at Ankaa, telling her to follow too, before he left the room to go to the ROR.
Just as he left Rupin took a pot shot at Snape casting a silent shocking curse, making his body jump a meter into the air, shocking the worried nurse.
Releasing a shriek of surprise, she was so focused on Snape that she never noticed anyone leave.

As Alfie finished putting Snape into a bed and saw that everyone was following her leed out of the room, when all of the sudden Rupin must have done something for he was feeling ever pleased with him self for some reason.

"What did you do, Rupin?" Alfie asked she had hoped that it wasn't anything that would hurt anyone, and she also hoped take it wasn't something that would make Spape dislike any of them more than Alfie had made him mad at her.

Ankaa gasped as Alfie cast a spell on Snape and made him fly through the air. She made a move to go to see if he was OK when she got A Look from Rupin, so she quickly changed direction and followed the group out of the hospital wing and on the way to the Room of Requirement.

She caught up with them in time to overhear Alfie asking Rupin what he had done. She looked at him puzzled and asked him

"You didn't do anything did you? I certainly didn't see you."

She then turned to Alfie and asked her too

"What did he do Alfie? Oh, and why are we headed to the Room of Requirements? Will we be able to get back from there?"
