Remy: Slytherin's Official Future


Remy walked into the hogshead and grinned as he saw the ladder leading up to the roof. Remy climbed up the ladder onto the roof of the bar. He didn't feel like drinking rihgt now but he wanted to see the view of the grounds from up here. looking down he felt a peaceful tranquility overtaking him. He smiled as he remembered the last time he was up here and suddenly he heard something behind him turnin around he saw...

Leona had been walking around Hogwarts finding herself quite bored with the surroundings, she expanded her walk towards Hogsmeade and came upon a bar she hadn't seen in a long time. She walked into the bar and saw that the ladder to the roof was left extended. She climbed up it quickly and saw Remy staring at the grounds, "hey you!" She said smiling.

Remy turned around and couldn't help but smile when he that leona was the one calling out to him. "Wow exactly one year later and here we are back in the same spot once again" he said trying not to laugh. "So what brings you up to the roof? remy asked. He knew there was going to be some sort of cool thing tht was going to happen in the sky but he didnt know if leona had remembered.

"Well I was just hanging out around school trying to find a good vantage spot for the meteor shower," Leona said crossing her arms. "Man it's cold up here isn't in?" Leona more or less said as she pulled out her wand to accio her cloak from the Gryffindor Tower, "are you up here for the same reason?" She asked curiously, though he seemed a might distracted, but then again...he was never a hundred percent there.

Dream said goodnight to her last customer and walked around the room pointing her wand at dishes left in the room and sending them into the kitchen to clean themselves. She sent the lonely, forgotten sweater that someone had left behind, into the Lost and Found bin behind the bar. She walked around the bar, making her way to the back while making sure all windows and doors were locked. When done, she grabbed her jacket and put it on. She turned to the backdoor in order to leave when she noticed that the door leading to roof access was open. She frowned, knowing that the door had been closed the last time she'd gone to the back. She pulled out her wand and walked up the stairs slowly. When she reached the roof, she heard voices mumbling to each other and she turned her head to find Remy and Leo up there. She grinned at them and put her wand away. "You guys almost gave me a heart attack!" she teased as she walked over to them.

Remy was glad that leo had remembered the meteor shower and nodded his head "yea its a bit chilly and you bet your pink haired booty im up here to see the meteorites" remy said happily. He then heard a noise and saw dream come up as well. "Hmm hi dream" he said as he grinned. "you up here to see the meteor with us, its going to be awesome" he said as he realized he should have brought chairs or somethng to sit on.

Dream heard Remy say something about a meteor show and she looked up at the sky. "Oh that's what you're doing up here. No I didnt know about it. I thought you guys were a couple of intruders waiting to rob my bar actually." she said with a small laugh. "Meteors huh? How long do we have to wait?" she asked as she pointed her wand at the ground next to her. Suddenly three cushy recliner chairs popped up out of nowhere and a large cooler flew up the stairs to join them. Dream sat down in one of the chairs and opened up the cooler. She pulled out a bottle of firewhiskey and a poured some into an ice cold glass. Then she put out her hand to catch a large thermos that flew up the stairs after the cooler. "Help yourself guys. Hot chocolate in the thermos, firewhiskey, soda, water and butterbeers in the cooler along with some sandwiches." she said cheerfully.

Remy smiled as he saw hte comfy chairs appear and he pointed at them so that leona would see them in case she hadn't. He walked over and grabbed a turkey sandwich "hey you guys want some while im here" he offered the two gryffindors.

After Leona had grabbed some sandwiches, hot chocolate and a bottle of butterbeer she waltzed on over to a chair and turned it into a lovely shade of rose, "much better," she said then hopped up on it and became lost in it, she didn't realize just how big the chair was. "Should be any time now," she said to Dream.

Remy grabbed a random sandwich and handed it to dream. He did not know what he had gotten but he hoped that he was lucky enough to get the one that she wanted. He had also grabbed two butterbeers as well and handed dream one. "Let's save the firewhiskey for after we see the show" he said smiling at his wife as he sat down on a chair as well.

Dream quickly downed her glass of firewhiskey and was about to answer Remy's question about whether or not she wanted a sandwich, when suddenly he was next to her, handing her a sandwich and a butterbeer. "Thanks babe." she said to him with a soft smile. Then she turned to look at Leo with a grin. "So is it a big shower? What time is it supposed to start?" she asked as she unwrapped the roast beef sandwich that Remy had given her. Her grin got even bigger as she saw that Remy had grabbed her favorite sandwich for her.

Remy took a bite out of his sandwich and looked up at the sky. He knew this was going to be a small shower compared to others but this was a special night to him as it was on this night that he had first met the shy pink haired griffyndor girl. He smiled as he looked at her and thought back at how much she had changed since then.

"It wont be as good as it had been in the previous years," Leona said looking at the sky as she began scrutinizing it. Almost as if by will a star quickly shot across the sky. "You see it!" Leona shouted still looking at the sky, she took a swing of her hot chocolate and began reflecting on the first time she spent here in her youth.

Remy was drinking his butterbeer when he heard leona mention that the first star had fallen. He put his drink down and looked up at the sky but frowned as he saw nothing. He knew plenty more stars would streak across the sky but he felt sad that he had missed the first one. He didnt see any stars in the sky and he decided to take a quick bite of his sandwich.

Dream was staring at the stars for so long that she wasnt sure if the stars she was watching were actually moving or if her eyes were playing tricks on her. She missed the first star that Leo exclaimed about and worried that she wouldnt see one but she was determined. She continued to patiently watch the skies until she too was hopping up in excitement. "Look! There's another one!" she said with more enthusiam than was perhaps necessary.

Remy lowered his sandwich down just in time to hear dream mention another star. Remy quickly looked up and smiled as he saw a faint light streaking across the sky he closed his eyes and made a wish when he opened his eyes he saw a few more stars streaking and he said nothing but merely let out a small gasp.

Dream's expression turned to one of joy as it literally began to rain down stars across the sky. She had never seen anything like it before. "It's a miracle. I would have never believed that something like this could happen. You've seen this happen before?" she asked Leo and Remy breathlessly. She started trying to count all of the shooting starts, but they were going too quickly for her to keep up, so she stopped trying and just enjoyed the sight.

Remy looked at dream then at leo and supressed a small giggle "Yea we were here at this same spot last year when this happened, this is where me and leo first met actually and its kinda deja vu'ish to be here again one year later looking at the falling stars with her again" remy said softly.

Leona watched the stars intently not really paying attention to anything else going on. She couldn't believe how fast they were falling, it was amazing. She took a drink of her cocoa and heard Remy's bit about meeting here several years after, "Oh that's true," she said not really giving much thought.

Dream looked at Remy in confusion for a moment. "We've known Leo for years. How did you just meet her a year ago? Besides I thought you guys met in the forest and found a cave together or something." she said, not being able to completely help the faint note that entered her voice. Then she shook her head and shrugged off the sight. "Anyways, it's wonderful. How long does it usually last, Leo?" she asked, knowing that her friend would be the one to ask about anything that had to do with astronomy.

Leona looked at Dream, "ah, don't mind him, I'm sure he meant years, he's just taken one to many blows to the head, methinks," Leo said laughing. "And it really depends. I have never seen such a vivid display before so it could last for minutes, maybe even as long as a couple of hours," Leo said as she went back to staring at the constellation Leo, feeling a strange power that seemed to flow from it to her.

Dream grinned back at Leo knowing that she was right. Then she looked back up at the sky again. The shooting stars were slowing down, falling fewer and wider in between, so she started looking at some of the other stars. Seeing a strange design in the stars that seemed almost mesmerizing to her, she tugged on Leo's sleeve, not able to look away. "What is that? Is that a constellation of some kind? Do you know which one?" she asked softly.

Leona smirked at Dream, "Oh that's Pegasus," Leo said to her, "It's just rising in the sky," she nodded, "I'm sure you know all about him right?" Leo said with a smile, and looked over to the opposite end of the horizon and watched Leo twinkle strongly, specifically the heart star, Regulus. There had been some old history in her family that mentioned that she was connected to the Nemian lion which terrorized the country for a short time before Hercules killed him.

Dream's eyes widened a little. "Pegasus? No wonder. Doesnt that constellation move into Andromeda as well? Did you know that the first Pegasus was forged out of Medusa's blood? And made to be companion to Perseus, and in some stories then became a companion to Hercules after Perseus died." she said. She had always felt an affinity to the story of Pegasus, and she loved the magical creatures although they were very rare. She only knew of two that lived in England.

"You're talking to the astronomy/astrology geek hun," Leo teased winking at her. "Man I really can spend all night out here, though I suspect we're boring Remy," she added with a smile his way, he never seemed to enjoy much about stars unless it was a celebrity, or something of a non celestial sense. Leo noticed that as the evening progressed she seemed to be getting stronger, and every so often when she was quiet she could swear that something was trying to talk to her.

Remy felt a bit cold and grinned at hte girls "i'll be right back i forgot my cloak downstairs" and hurried off. He smiled as he grabbed his cloak from the chair and hurried off towards his dorm. He had seen the stars fall many times before so missing one wasn't such a big deal but he had to do something important now before he forgot.

Dream continued to look at Pegasus until she heard Remy say something about going to get his cloak. "Babe, will you grab one of your sweaters or something too?" she asked hopefully as he started walking away. Then she looked back over at Leo who seemed entranced in another constellation. "What constellation is that, Leo?" she asked curiously.

"Leo," she replied quickly, "The constellation's Leo," she clarified in case she got confused and thought she was talking in third person. She was saddened when she learned that Dream was right, it indeed was getting much closer, she was about to go downstairs herself to get something warmer when a shooting star seemed to be heading for them.

Dream didnt know why she was surprised with Leo telling her that the constellation was Leo that she was staring at. "Figures." she said, tongue in cheek. Suddenly her attention was drawn to a shooting star up in the sky. She watched it for a moment, not really understanding waht she was looking at. Then she realised that it was getting bigger. "Leo? Uhm... do you see that?" she asked in a slightly worried tone of voice. "Is it just me, or is that shooting star getting closer to us?"

"Yeah it is," Leo said wide eyed and wanted to run but couldn't, "Impedimentia!" Leo shouted her wand pointed at it, which cause the meteor to fall more slowly. Leo wanted to observe it some more to see if it was worth destroying or not, it'd be pretty cool to have a meteorite, she thought. Just then a second one began making haste for the two.

Dream watched Leo point her wand at the shooting star, slowing it's momentum. "Good idea." she muttered to her. That's when she saw that there was another heading for them. "Uhm...There's something strange happening Leo." she said as she pointed her wand at the new meteor and also said "Impediamenta!". No sonner had that one slowed down when there were two more heading straight towards them, and even faster than the first two. "What the hell is going on?" she asked in a shocked voice. "Are we under attack, or am I crazy?" she said.

Remy walked out of his dorm with a sack and made his way into the forest "how could i have forgotten" he said angrily to himself. He kept looking up at the moon hoping it wouldn't go away before he got to where he was headed. He started walking faster in order not to be late hoping it would still be there when he got there or else he would be very sad.

Dream was waiting for Leo to answer her, but there was no answer forthcoming. Dream turned to look at Leo, afraid that something might have happened to her. Seeing her still standing there, Dream nudged her a little. "LEO! LEO SNAP OUT OF IT!" she ordered. "Do you know what is going on? I dont think that we should stand up here, waiting for these things to hit us!" she said as she stared at the meteors that were getting even closer.

Leona stared at the oncoming meteors and could feel herself being dowered in cosmic dust, but she didn't care, she knew she wasn't going to be hit. Her mind wasn't her own as she didn't heed Dream's calling but after a moment she opened up her arms stretching them as far out as they could go and clapped them mightily. The mundane act has very obvious effects as the falling meteors were obliterated showering hogsmeade in dust.
