Dalejin

::Dalejin had made his way up to the Owlery in the middle of the night knowing that a letter was waiting there for him. Some how he knew that Leo was involved in its information as well. She always was involved in things such as this. The steps were slippery and he had difficult climbing them at night with no light so when he reached the top he lit the lanterns to provide light for Leo while he waited.::

BIC: Emma was surprised to see the Owlery light up at night. Usually she was the only one it, and she usually used her wand to make light. Carefully running up the steps, she entered the owlery..and was surprised to see Dalejin waiting there. "Hey, I thought I was the only night owl in Hogwarts!" she said with a grin, and walked over to her owl and gave it a package to send to her sisters.

Dalejin

::Dalejin turned around when Emma entered and looked up. He had seen her about the school late at night but this was the first time that they had bet up with her.::"No I'm out alot. You probably just haven't seen me. I try to keep it that way."::Dalejin watched as Emmat tied a package to an owl.::"That you're owl then?"::Dalejin asked making small talk while he waited for his own packages arival.::

Emma smiled and leaned against the wall.."Yea that is my owl, I have had her for a while!" she said with a grin.."She is really trustworthy.." she said watching as her owl flew away and then she looked back at Dalejin. Giving a cute smile, she looked around the room, the light eluminating her face.."Are you sending a letter, or just enjoying the view?" she asked jokingly.

Dalejin

"Naw. I'm waiting on one. There's something important coming in for me tonight. No idea what it is yet."::Dalejin laughed.::"But I'll know it when it arrives."::Dalejin stepped over to one of the windows and looked out it watching the night sky for any movement.::

Emma smiled.."I find that when you wait for something, it usually ends up dissapointing you!" she said with a solemn smile. "I hope what you are waiting for is very important!" she said walking over next to him.

Dalejin

"Yeah. It will be."::Dalejin knew it was. He just had a strange feeling he needed to retrieve it tonight. It couldn't wait for the morning.::"It will be worth it whatever it is."::Dalejin thought he caught sight of movement but it was only the glint of the moon shining through the clouds.::

Emma was startled to hear her owl land back inside its nest, dropping a letter on the floor. Emma walked over to the letter, and quickly brought out her wand, muttering a spell under her breath, setting the Howler on fire. She watched as the howler soared into the air, screaming.."Emma May Potter..How dare you.." as it slowly shriveled into burnt paper. She quickly kicked the paper over to the side, looking back at Dalejin, she smiled.."I hate her!" she said with a roll of the eyes, towards the paper.

Dalejin

::Dalejin laughed. Now that was something you didn't see everyday. A howler.::"Well they sure don't like you do they."::Dalejin looked at the searing embers and hoped his package didn't arrive like that. He could handle the people looking at him but if the information it contained wea comprimised in such a way would be terrible.::

Leona ran up the stairs of the owlry having gotten Dalejin's owl, rather late, so late that she was racing the her owl, Artemis back to it's home. "IMSORRYIMLATEDALEJIN!!!" She said with out breathing, placing her hands on her knees panting some. "Ran all the way here," she said. A feat of endurance she hoped never to repeat.

Dalejin

::Dalejin turned away from looking out the window when he heard Leo climbing the stairs.::"Well it's a good thing I lit those lanterns or you may have ended up flat on your back."::Dalejin noticed she must have ran a long ways.::"It's okay. It's not here yet."

"OK," Leo nodded then waved at Emma, "you staying to see what this is?" She asked in bewilderment, knowing that his discovery would be very interesting. It was all Leo could do to sit and wait while her owl went into the rafters to talk to her friends before she turned in.

Dalejin

::Dalejin heard the flap of heavy wings and looked back out the window. Of course it would bring the item. What a fool the man was to send it. But it was more dependable then an owl. Dalejin leaned out the window and looked up. Attached to the small piece of the roof that jutted out away from the top of the tower was a giant black and silver bat. Around it's neck was a small envelope and Dalejin held out his hand for the bat to sniff. Slowly Dalejin reached out and took the envelop and leaned back in the window.::

OOC: Leo my name is Emma, not Emily!! LOL I understand I must have called Mark, Marcus, for a whole month till I realized it!!

BIC: Emma was surprised to see Leo come up so quickly. Hearing what she said, Emma shrugged.."I guess I'll stay unless you kick me out!" she said with a grin. She noticed the howler that was set on fire, had now burned but pieces of fire were still thriving on the floor, Emma quickly stepped on them and put them out with her shoe. Looking back up at Leo, she said.."Step-mother!" with a roll of the eyes.

Daleji

::Dalejin turned the envelop over a couple times. The hand writing was unfamiliar and Dalejin was a bit concerned about what he would find inside if he opened.::"No you can stay if you wish Emma. Wll this is I guess. Odd"::Dalejin said the last under his breath more to himself. This wasn't anything he had expected to receive.::
