If you can't tell already I like scary movies. The Messengers is by far one of my favorite movies ever. It's scary but at the same time not the same thing you'd usually get in a ghost movie. The ghosts aren't regualar, see-through, floaty, evil things. They're solid, jerky moving, actually scary things. I love how this movie has so many surprises that you aren't expecting. More than once, I'll admit, I jumped out of my seat. I like the crows. Those are cool. I like how they are the Messengers. They keep trying to warn the family in all kinds of weird ways. Like attacking the bad guy. I also like how all the stuff that happens at the begining, in the black and white, happens again in the end except with a different family. Though I don't know why the family decided to stay in the house after they had all nearly been killed. That just doesn't make sense. Does anyone else like this movie?
I found it rather typical and boring for a horror movie . . . and the solid, jerky movement type ghost are just as regular as the see-through ones. Nowadays the jerky ones actually seem more regular . . .
