Hun, go read the howler at the top of the first page in Gringotts. It gives you the exact format to use when recording your deposits, and purchases. If you still don't get it, then go ahead and look in my vault and see how I do it. If you still don't get it, then send me an OWL and I'll walk you through it.

first your get your post count and divide by 2 which gives you at this time 1022, then you add in your necessities package which brings up your total to 1172

amount of purchases since start = $145

this is the total amount of all the purchases you have made on the site. So far you have not bought anything other than a wand and a few items which are a

New Balance = 1027

we get your new balance by subtracting your amount of money from the amount of purchases to give you your new current balance.




The next time you buy something add it to the amount of items purchased so you dont have to go back and count each item every time you make a purchase. If you dont buy a thing and just want to update your vault then do the exact thing i did above then when you subtract just subrtact from the same number $145 becuase since you havent bought anything it wont have changed. OMG I'm so confused in here! Unless you label things they make no sense. Sabby I'll do this one time for you and then you will do it exactly the way that I show you to. You do not have to record your purchases in each update. You only put down your purchases if you buy something. I would suggest that with your next couple of updates you copy and paste my template that I'm about to give you and then just plug in the correct numbers.

Speaking of which you need to go and buy some things. You haven't bought any clothes, pets, food or school materials so unless you have no pets, want to run around school without clothes and you don't plan on going to any classes, I suggest you go on a shopping spree. :P

Ok so the parts that are colored blue you will never have to post again. The parts that are red are your purchases and you are only to show your purchases when you buy something. The parts that are pink you will HAVE to do every single time that you come in to update your vault. Until you get the structure down in here I want you to update your vault at least once every two weeks.


Current Post Count = 2146 (You must always put this. It tells you how much to subtract from your current post count in your next update in order to figure out your posting deposit.)
Necessity Package = $150.00 (You never have to put this again.)
Total Posting Deposit = $1073.00 (From now on you will take your current post count, subtract your old post count and divide it by two. The total of that will be what you put here as your posting deposit.)
Total Purchases = $145.00 (From now on you will only put purchases that have not already been added to your vault.)
