Emma hurried down the pathway leading to the quidtich pitch. There was still light out, and dinner had just started..there was no way she could get in trouble, she checked all of the rules. Smiling to herself, she ran threw the gate to the quidtich pitch, and entered. She got the area ready, banners running down the sides of the bleachers..some saying Gryffindor, Ravenclaw, Slytherin or Hufflepuff. Pleased with her self (the banners had the animal on them of the house, and the animal moved and shouted GO, GO ________(house name) when you pointed your wand to them!!) Emma smiled..now all she had to do was wait for her friends. She had invited a lot of people to come play, watch and have some fun. She knew JO, Mark, Mari and Marcus where coming for sure. She had the quidtich pitch set up, and had the bleachers ready, (she put pillows on all the seats, matching the house color). She had music playing and the lights turned on. Now she had to wait, to play Quidtich at Night!!

Grinning and breathing in fresh air, Jo walked down to the quidditch pitch with a broom under her arm. Getting closer, she saw lights, and heard music. "Yes!" she whispered, and ran in, stopped suddenly, putting the broom on the ground. Jo loved music, and couldn't stop herself. Putting on a few of her wildest dance moves, she did some flips right up to Emma and danced around her, saying, "Nice choice of music, Emma!!"

Mari was about to go eat dinner when she saw a sound coming from the Quidditch Pitch. She went over to it and saw Jo and Emma there with Hogwarts house banners around the pitch, making loud sounds.
"Hey guys!" Mari said cheerfully, "Quidditch time at this hour? Sure!"

Emma looked at Jo and grinned.."I'm glad you like it Jo!" she then saw Mari come up..and wave to her. "Well, I know what your thinking, but I have it all planned out. We end in 2 hours for tonight..and then join again tomorrow nigh..for 2.5 hours, and then the next for 3 hours, and then we go back to 2 and so on!" she said pleased with herself.

"Nice plan," Mari nodded, "So how are we going to do this? Like team-wise? What if we don't have enough players? I don't think we have any beaters in our friend circle do we?"

"Every night, Emma? Sorry, but some of us have lives, and practice!" Samara called from behind her friend, hovering in the air already on her broomstick. "Anyway, I can beat if you need me."

Mari grinned as Sam appeared and remembered, "Oh yeah I don't have a broom with me!"
She quickly accioed her Cleansweep and hovered in the air, her feet brushed against the grass, "Great to have a beater in our midst! But how are we going to get the Quidditch balls?"

Emma smiled at Sam.."Thanks Sam..but I think we will want you as a seeker, I could substitue in as a seeker..but my skills are much better with being a chaser." She then pulled out a clipboard from her bag..on it explained the rules and plan of the event.


Plan:

To be able to have the quidtich pitch open to student to socialize, play quidtich, dance or be spectators. The hours rotate, the first rotation goes from 5-7 (2 hours), the second rotation goes from 5-7:30 (2.5 hours) and the third rotation goes from 5-8 (3 hours), and then back to the first. On the weekends the pitch will be open from 1-4 in the afternoons. It is not mandatory to be here, or how long you are here. It is a drop-in kind of event.

Rules:

Please do not trash or abuse the pitch.
Sign in on the clipboard every single time you enter the event.
Do not stay past the hours of the event, if you do your actions can not be blamed on the event.
Be respectful, and support your house.
Quidtich supplies are provided.

Turning around to look at her friends, she said.."We should probably do a little warm-up and see how many quidtich players we have in the next 15 minutes..and then decide how to play!" she said with a smile.

Mari shrugged and nodded, "Okay."
She signed under Emma's name: Mari.
"Yeah I reckon we practice," Mari positioned herself on her broom correctly and zoomed into the air.

Jo grinned and yelled, "Hey Mari! Hey Sam!" as the two walked in after her. After reading the material on the clipboard that Emma had pulled out, she signed her name under Emma's and Mari's:

Getting on her broom, Jo zoomed around, doing a few loops, then landed back on the ground next to Emma.
"Should I be keeper like I usually am? Or should I be seeker?" she asked.

Emma grabbed her broom and kicked off into the air..flying around the pitch a few times.."Everyone should probably do a few laps..and then we will have all the seekers practicing with each other..and the chasers practicing with the keepers...ok?" she yelled..diving to grab a quaffle and the snitch. "They were my parents quidtich set..I dont think we are allowed to use the school's, so I brought mine!" she then realised the snitch and flew over near the goal posts to start practicing with Jo!

Jo laughed as Emma released the Snitch and flew over to Jo, who took her actions to mean that Jo was playing keeper like usual.
"Alright, give me all you've got!" she shouted at Emma, with a big grin on her face, hovering infront of the hoops, playing the game that she loved best.

"Alright," Mari did a flew laps around the pitch and was back to see Emma releasing the snitch and beginning practicing with Jo.
Mari rushed toward the snitch and began chasing after it in surprising speed near the Slytherin stands. This snitch seemed to be a bit slower, obviously because it was older and its golden color rusted a bit. Mari caught in a matter of seconds.
"Well that was easy."

OOC: The snitch isn't older..I said it was one of my parents...meaning it came from my house..it was bought for me and my sisters to practice with...so, you obvisouly are pretty good, and got really lucky. LOL

BIC: Emma helf the quaffle under neath her with a tight grip, scanning the grounds for any other chasers.."I guess Mark or Marcus could show up!" she thought to herself. Making herself play a one chaser game, she flew up to Jo, and faked that she was going right, when she hurtled the quaffle into the far left corner of the left goal. Happy that she had thrown a pretty hard to get shot.

OOC: Well if it was ur parents it must've been worn out a bit xD

BIC: Mari rushed over to Emma Jo, and Sam, "So are you expecting anyone else to arrive other than us girls? Mark or Marcus maybe?.... Perhaps they're in the Great Hall right now scarfing down pounds and pounds of food?"
Mari shrugged jokingly, "it wouldn't surprise me."

Samara didnt' see the point of doing laps and practicing; it wasn't practice, it was a game, wasn't it? So instead she resorted to hanging upside down for a while, watching in interest.

Mari giggled at Sam's upside down position and flew over next to her and did the same thing, grinning at her.
"So is this how you get warmed up?" Mari asked, blood rushing to her head.

"Don't need to warm up, do we? After all, people dont' really warm up just before real games, do they? And it's not as if I dunno what I'm doing." She grinned at her right-side-up upside-down friend and then righted herself, doing a random spin in the wait for more arrivals.

Mari grinned back at Sam's comment and righted herself up as well, "Yeah well, when are we going start anyway?"
Mari looked over at Emma questioningly, "Is anyone else gonna show up?"

Emma smiled at her friends..and flew over next to them.."Well the whole ravenclaw team should be showing up, and Mark I think was here..and I know a couple of other people who will drop in..so we should have atleast 2 teams!"

Olivia was walking to the quiddich pitch. She needed some practice.
"Hey!" she called to Mari, Emma and Sam when she saw them "You guys wanna play a game?" she walked up to them and leaned on her Nimbus 2001

Distracted by Mari catching the snitch, Jo yelled, "Hey, good job, Mari!", and noticed too late that Emma was throwing the quaffle.
Bolting over to the left hoop, Jojo missed the quaffle only by a few inches, but was glad to see the red ball hit the edge of the hoop instead.
"I guess we both lose this one, Emma!" she shouted over her shoulder. "I missed the ball, you threw it too far to the left."
Jo was smiling. Emma was a very good chaser, and (she had to say) Jo was a very good keeper. They were a good match.

OOC: Grrr..I wrote it as i threw a great shot..and Jo wrote it that I missed it!

BIC: "Hey Olivia!" Emma said, turning towards Olivia and diving down to the ground, halting at the last second.."Yea, I organized this little meet..several others should be arriving soon, but if you could sign your name on that paper..over there!" Emma said, smiling and pointing over to a clipboard with a sign-in sheet on it. "There are a could of rules, to prevent any detentions be given out, you should read those..and then hop on your broom and start playing!" she said, and then flew over to grab the quaffle out of the air that was falling very quickly to the ground, after hitting the goal.

"Ok" Olivia said, walking over to the clip board thingy. She took up the quill and signed her name.
"Whos winning?!" she called/asked, climbing onto her broomstick and taking off.

OOC: lol.. sorry Emma.. *apologetic look*

BIC: Jojo smiled as Olivia came in and signed on the clipboard.
"No one's winning.. We're only warming up right now.. We're gonna start up a game soon, I think.." she said grinning.

Mark had heard that there was a game going on at the quidditch pitch tonite and couldnt believe that he had been given a detention on the same day. The miserable cow must have known i would be gutted to miss the match! he said as he finished the detention and ran up to his dorm. He grabbed his firebolt and couldnt help but grin. "Time to see how you go in a game i guess" he said to his broom before turning and running out of the portrait hole.
He ran as fast as his feet could carry him down to the pitch to meet with the others who were already there. He arrived out of breath and hunched over trying to catch him breath, "Whats...happened?....did.....I .....miss.....anything?" he asked as he tried to catch his breath.

Mari giggled at Olivia's comment and nodded to Jo, "Yeah we're probably gonna start since it looks like no one else is--"
She heard running in the distance and turned to see Mark running over to them with his new firebolt. Mari lowered herself slightly, so she was simply hovering over the ground and grinned at him.
"Well speak of the devil, who knew you would come!" Mari watched him catch his breath, "or are you too knackered [i had to write it] from running to play?"

"Me?" he asked still bend over trying to catch his breath. "nah, im ready and raring to go!" he said as he finally stood straight and looked around at everybody. "Sorry i missed the start, whats happening? Teams? rules? curfew?" he asked as he thought of all the possible ways that the game could be interupted and brought to a close.

Samara pouted slightly, laying down on her broom lazily as she hovered near the rest of the group. "Rules? Conditions? Really, Emma, where's the fun in that?" She looked doubtfully at the contract, not sure whether this would be as fun as it had sounded or not.

Smiling to herself..that finally they had enough people to begin..she looked around, Mark, Mari, Jo, Olivia, Sam, herself, Marcus (he said he was coming, Emilie (also said she was coming). "Cool" she thought..they would have to play an abbreviated version for a little bit..but its still competition. "Ok guys, we have two seekers, two chasers, and if Jo and Olivia could play keeper..than we have ourselves a game, until the other two arrive! Now we just need to devide up into teams!" flicking her wand at the stereo on the ground, music began to play loudly to get everyone pumped up and excited about the match. Flying on one side of the quidtich pitch.."How about half of us go to this side, and the other half go over there!" she said pointing to the other half.

Mari cheered gleefully as Emma said they had enough people for now. She listened to Emma explain that they would just play without beaters (or with only 2 chasers, idk) until Marcus and Emilie arrived.
"Wow, I never thought it would be you against me, Sam," Mari joked and took to the right of the Pitch, wondering who would join her.

"Ha, ha," Sam stuck her tongue out at Mari, then flew to the opposite side of the pitch alone. She waited for others to join her side and hoped someone would actually want to. Just for the heck of it, Sam did a few more spins and tricks; she never was one for sitting still.

Mark saw Mari fly over to the side of the pitch that Emma was on so walked over to the side where Sam was stood. "Since there's only two chasers i guess it would make more sense to have one on each team!" he said as he stood next to sam with his broom slung over his shoulder as sam did afew tricks in the air.
"This might be fun anyway, ive never played quiditch with anyone apart from Gryffindors. It'll be good to scout you guys out before we kick ur asses...i mean play you for real" he said with a grin as he looked over to Emma and Jo. "So Jo, you need to pick a team then the other team will get Emilie. agreed?" he asked as he mounted his firebolt, ready to kick off into the sky.

Emma smiled..happy to see her friends excited about the game. Turning around to Mari, she gave her a high five.. "Hey teamate..ready to kick some quidtich butt!" she said with a grin. Hovering above the ground on her broom, she yelled down to Jo and Emilie.."Come on guys make a choice, quick, before I fall asleep..we can only play for so long, before it gets dark!"

Mari grinned as Mark walked over to the other side and high fived Emma back.
"Of course I am," She smiled at Emma and looked back at Sam, "Or let's say ready to kick some Raillen butt!"
Mari then looked down at Jo and Olivia wondering who would choose which side.

Olivia sat in the side lines
"Il watch, cant play any other position besides Beater, il wait"
she took out a book and started reading, saying "Mhm" once in a while

Emma frowned..."Actually we can use you as a beater..you just wont be on a team. Just fly around and try to knock people off there brooms with the bludgers. You will get practice hitting the bludgers and we will get practice avoiding them!" she said with a smile, and flew down and grabbed a bat and flew right up next to where Olivia was sitting.. "So do you want to play?" she asked, holding up the bat.

Jo sighed, looking from Mark and Sam to Emma and Mari.
This was a hard decision...
Closing her eyes tight and knowing that she was going to look stupid, she stuck out her hand with her index finger pointing straight out, and spun around extremely fast for about 30 seconds.
Trying not to sway or stagger from dizziness, she opened her eyes to see where her finger would be pointing.
It wasn't exactly pointing at anyone, but it was pointing to the right, so smiling, she walked a little clumsily to the side Emma and Mari were on. "Hey.. Oh wow, I'm really dizzy.... ugh.." she said.
Holding her head still, Jo began to regain posture as the world stopped spinning around her.

Mari shrugged the Jo's decision and waved her over. Then she looked down at Olivia who said she would wait, but Mari was against it.
"C'mon Olivia, you have to go on Mark and Sam's side, we need an even team!" Mari complained to her, "Pleaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaaase?"
