I got it today :D my mum bought it me hehe im so happy right now

Heh, do you know, I bought a pre-paid version of the book about a couple of weeks before release. The book store gave us a tidy certificate and I waited. The bookstore then had this party at 11:00 at night on the 20th, I didn't show for it. I came about 11:50 to wait in line for the midnight release, you know? It wasn't bad, I live in a town of about five thousand and we have two bookstores, so the line was tolerable. So yeah, I picked it up at midnight and had it read by the end of the day, despite having to work six hours in the middle of that :P

Funny thing though. I had someone in line ahead of me asking, “Why do they have a midnight release of the Harry Potter book?”

And I, with one of those stupid grins, couldn't help but offer, “Because its the witching hour!”

I bought it with my own money (yay jobs got to love them) for 10% off even better lol.. I liked it .. now my dad has to finish so i can reread it in peace.

I got it when it came out . . . which was at 9:01 here in Australia :lol:

Though I was naughty and had already read half of it on the net :P

I got it on Sunday. At the bookshops it was selling for R249, i got it for R149 :D
Finished it yesterday.

i got the book the afternoon after it came out. i wasn't allowed to go to any of the book parties. too late. but i finished reading it the 2nd day that i had it at 12:30 pm. it was mind numbing and gave me a headache.

I got it 13 hours after it came out and we had to read it out loud so we finnished the 26th.

I got it 7 hours after it came out. The book store wasn't allowed to open before 7 am, so that is when I went, and I had mine pre-ordered, so I didn't have to wait. There was a suprisingly little amount of people there though.

I went to the midnight thingy and I got it exacty 2 minutes and 14 seconds after it came out. I then preceded to finish it 7 hours 13 minutes and 43 seconds later. (I know I'm obsessed.)
