Dream ran barefoot down the path to the lake, clutching one of her large purses and her firebolt in one hand, and holding her skirt up a bit with her other so she wouldn't trip over its hem. She glanced down at the watch around her wrist. It was a strange and constricting feeling for her since she didn't wear watches very often. She hated the things and how rushed they always made her feel. Seeing that she was a few minutes early, she slowed down a little. She was meeting Remy at the lake at 3pm and they were going to go away for a private celebration for his 32nd birthday. She reached the lake and she put down her brrom and purse and she sat down in the grass. Then she leaned against the tree that was behind her and she waited for Remy to show up.

Remy pushed aside the boulder that went from the lake to his dorm via the secret tunnel he had built to sneak out when he was a first year. He got out and accioed his firebolt behind him and ran to the location he and dream had agreed to meet at. He got there and saw dream leaning agianst a tree and smiled "you ready to take off? he asked her.

Dream grinned and nodded. "We have to hurry though. I've got a surprise for you before we go to dinner and I want to be there by this time tomorrow so I can give it to you." she said mysteriously. She leaned into him and gave him a long kiss. Then she pulled back and said playfully "Try to keep up." Then in less than a second she was on her broom and shooting up into the sky, not even bothering to wait because she knew he would be right behind her.

Remy smiled as he kissed dream back and grinned. "what do you mean a suprise? and where are we going you never told me" he said as he saw dream ignore him and fly off on her broom. Remy smirked and grabbed his broom and took off after dream. He was a chaser and he loved to chase after things especially when it was dream.

Dream grinned as she ignored Remy's question and took flight. She laughed in delight as the wind whipped through her hair. She flew past cities, diving under bridges, and soaring over the tips of skyscrapers. After a few hours had passed, she flew into the city Venice which was in the heart of Italy. She flew into a deserted alleyway and waited for Remy to join her.

Remy's closed his eyes a bit as the wind blew past him, he wished he had remembered to bring his quidditch goggles wiht him. He followed her and blew past cities, dove under bridges, and soared over the tips of sky scrapers in an attempt ot keep up with his wife. He finallly saw her land and he quickly did as well noting that they had landed in a city called Venice. He walked into an alleyway and grinned "wow if you wanted to show me an alley then why did we have to travel way out here" he said smirking at her.

Dream grinned at remy as he landed beside her. "Hi slow poke" she said cheekily. Hearing his comment she stuck her tongue out at him. "I thought rats liked alleys"she said playfully. Then she shrank their brooms and put them in her purse. She grabbed his hand and started pulling him with her towards the hilton hotel that was down the street.

"I guess so but too bad im not a rat im a snake you big dummy" he said sticking his tongue out at her. He grabbed her hand and was following her when a great big gasp came out of his mouth when he saw the hilton hotel. He grinned as he was glad he had brought his wallet with him.

Dream smiled back at Remy and dragged him into the hotel with her. She waved to the clerk behind the front desk, and went straight to the elevator, once they were in the elevator she pushed the button for the top floor. She had reserved the penthouse suite and she hoped remy would like it. Once the elevator stopped dream pulled out a blindfold and put it around remy's head making sure he couldn't see and led him to the suite door.

Remy nodded at the guy behind the clerk behind the front desk. He wondered what the suprise would be as he climbed into the elevator and watched dream press the button for the top floor. He knew the penthouse suite's were on that floor and he wondered what she was up to. The elevator stopped and he quickly got out but not fast enough as dream managed to put a blindfold on him. Not being able to see he stumbled a bit reaching out for dream to help him find his way to suite.

Dream slowly opened the door and pressed a letter into Remy's hand. Then she pulled the blindfold off him, revealing the front room to their penthouse suite. There was a huge banner floating in the air that read

"Happy Birthday to the most wonderful husband in the world!"

There were red, white and bright pink rose petals strewn all over the floor and with a wave of her wand, the bottle of champagne that was chilling in a bucket of ice popped open and filled up two glasses. The glasses of champagne floated over to them and Dream plucked them both out of the air and handed one of them to Remy. "Happy Birthday Remy." she whispered to him as the clock struck midnight.

Remy took off his blindfold and smiled as he saw the banner. He smiled as dream handed him two letters and he tried hard not to let the tears fall that he was fighting hard ot suppress. He missed his sister and daughter so much but this made up for it. He looked at dream and smiled "how long had you guys planned this" he sais as he grabbed the champagne glass and clinked it with dream's before drinking it.

Dream grinned as Remy gave her the exact reaction that she had been hoping for. In response to his question, she just shrugged. Then she pulled him into the bedroom with her. "Come on. We gotta get ready. We have to be there in an hour a half and the car is coming in an hour." she said as she pointed her wand at her bag and suddenly what appeared to be the entire contents of her closet and bathroom came out of it. "I'm gonna take the shower first cause I'll take longer with my hair and makeup." she said.

Remy looked at dream and grinned "you mean theres more still and where are we going in half an hour and why can't we just fly there on our brooms? he asked confused. HE watched dream go into the restroom to take a bath and he sat down on the bed confused still and turned on the tv. He began watching a baseball game and smiled happpily.

Dream walked into the bathroon and piled her hair into a bun on top of her head. She started the hot water for a nice bubble bath. Once in the tub she gave a sigh of relaxation, feeling the tension leaving her muscles. After 20 minutes or so she got out of the tub and started doing her makeup. Wrapped in a robe she walked out of the bathroom and saw remy watching a baseball game. She gave him a smile and said it's your turn hurry up. She plugged her hair dryer and curling iron into an outlet close to a mirror and did her hair. Then she walked to the closet and started debating on what she wanted to wear.

Remy smiled as he saw dream come out of the bathroom. He nodded his head at her response and turned off the television and slowly went to the closet and grabbed a dry cleaning bag and walked with it into the bathroom. He got the water ready to take a shower and then he walked inside. He got the old spice body wash that was next to the tub and washed himself and then he shampooed his hair. He got out of the tub and dried himself off with a towel and walked over to the mirror and put some shaving cream and took out his magical shaver and began to shave, finishing he splashed some old spice after shave lotion and walked over to his clothes and unzipped the bag and smiled as he saw his clothes. He put on a cream colored silk shirt with black dress slacks and black dress shoes, he walked to the mirror and put a bit of mousse on his hair and styled it nicely and smiled as he put on some cologne. "perfect" he whispered to himself. Where to now red" he said as he walked out of the bathroom.

Dream stared at her clothes for a good 15 minutes trying to decide on the perfect dress. Finally she put on a sleeveless velvet cream colored dress. The dress was form fitting and the skirt of it was long enough to almost touch the ground when she was in heels. She put a matching velvet cream colored choker around her neck and then put on 4 thin gold chains of varying lengths. She put a large gold bracelet on each one of her wrists and she put a pair of gold colored high heeled shoes on her feet. She pointed her wand at her toes and fingers to paint them a matching gold color. She wore no rings except her wedding rings. Taking one last look in the mirror, she smiled and walked over to grab a purse that was in the cream color and had a gold chain. Part of her hair was up in a bun and the rest of it was tumbling down her back in a riot of curls. A couple of stray ringlets framed her face. She grabbed a tiny box and tucked it into her purse just in time as Remy walked through the bathroom door. He looked wonderful and she felt her heart skip a beat.

Remy gave a small sigh as he saw his wife. "Wow and i didn't think you could get any more beautiful than what you already were" he said softly as he went up to her and gave her a hug. "so are you gonna tell me where were going or is that a suprise as well" he said grinning as he took her hand in his and walked out of the suite with her.

Dream felt herself getting a little nervous as they walked out of the suite and into the elevator and she didn't answer Remy. When the elevator stopped at the lobby, they got out and walked outside. There right in front of the front doors was an ivory colored stretch Rolls Royce limo and a chauffer opening the door for them. Dream got inside and once Remy had joined her, the chauffer got inside and soon they were speeding off. After about 25 minutes or so, the limo stopped and the chauffer opened the door for them to get out in front of the outside of what looked like a dingy looking bar. Dream grinned as she looked at Remy and wondered he was thinking as he looked at it.

Remy followed Dream without saying a word.He glanced at the limo and grinned he had gotten used to expecting nothing but the best from Dream.He got into the car after the chauffer opened the door.He knew it was pointless to stare out the window as he had no idea what Venice had to offer.He began to think of all the different cool places that Dream could be taking him to so when the limo stopped in front of the dingy bar he looked at the driver and said "I believe you stopped at the wrong place."

Dream grinned and bit her lower lip to keep from laughing as she heard Remy's comment. She got out of the limo and with wide innoncent eyes, she pulled Remy out of the limo to join her. They walked into the one story building and Dream blinked as her eyes got used to the darkness. She looked at the filth of the place and wondered what her spoiled husband thought of it. They both looked extremely out of place, being all dressed up. Just then a very dirty looking man ran up to them. Dream reached into her purse and handed him the small box and he promptly ran off again. Dream then pushed Remy further into the room and to a door down the dark hallway. She opened the door and they stepped inside of a tiny cramped room that had nothing in it except a small picture of a cloud. Dream tapped the picture three times with her wand and suddenly the room started moving upwards. She glanced over at Remy with a small smirk and then suddenly the room stopped moving. She opened the door and in front of them was one of the biggest and most beautiful restuarants she had ever seen. The walls were made of windows and they were up in the air higher than every single other building in Venice. The view was breathtaking. Just then the man who had met them downstairs appeared before them again, this time dressed in a pristine white tuxedo. "This way please." he said as he ushered them to a table next to one of the windows. Dream thanked him as he held out the chair for her. She looked around and saw with satisfaction that as requested, they were the only ones there.

Remy looked at the surroundings in the bar making sure not to touch anything as he walked by after dream, the neon lights the only illumination in the place. Remy barely caught sight of dream handing a man an object and saw him quickly run away, before he could ask her what had happen she led him to a room. He closed his eyes and before he knew it the room began going up. He waited and soon the door opened up and a waiter greeted them. He must have been the other guys twin because they looked alike remy thought to himself. Remy followed the guy as he was taken to a table by a window and smiled wondering what was next.

Dream looked at Remy and said "So? What do you think of this place? Poor muggles don't even know what they're missing out on." she said. She opened up her menu and tried to decide what she wanted to order. She usually went for lasagne or alfredo but she had heard nothing but great things about their chicken parmigana. She decided to have that with a ceasar salad. She looked back over at Remy. "Do you know what you want?" she asked him curiously.

Remy looked at dream and smiled "how did you find this place? he asked as he smirked at her. He laughed and said "well to be honest i don't think i know what half the food on the menu is so do they have chicken strips here? he said softly. He didn't want to order something he didnt know what it was then not eat it. He looked out the window and had to grin as he saw a 747 fly by.

Dream grinned at Remy and then looked over towards the waiter who was discreetly watching them. Catching his eye, she gave a small nod and lifted one finger. He nodded back and rushed into the kitchen. Dream started fidgeting nervously while she waited for the waiter to come back. When he arrived he had a large tray that had three dishes with silver covers on them. He placed one in front of Dream and he placed two in front of Remy. Then he lifted the cover off the plate directly in front of Remy and on the plate was a bright pink rose with a platinum wedding ring on it. Written on the plate underneath the rose was "Will you marry me...again?"

Remy saw the guy walking towards them with a tray and he hoped it was something good to eat. He had not eaten that morning and he was really hungry. He couldn't wait to start eating when suddenly the waiter lifted up one of the covers and revealed a pink rose with a platinum ring. Remy was so shocked he forgot all about eating and when it comes to remy you know for him to forget about eating that means he was shocked. He looked at dream and whispered "i love you" as he nodded his head yes.

Dream's face turned a little pink and she bit her lip as she waited to his reaction. Seeing him look up at her and say he loved her and nod his response, she felt her eyes fill up with tears. She quickly blinked them back and smiled at him. "Ditto." she said. She wondered what he would say to what she had planned for after dinner. "Let's eat baby. We got a schedule to keep." she said softly.

Remy wondered what more she had planned but before he could ask her what that was the smell of the food overcame him. His stomach grumbled at him and he took the tray off the plate in front of him and he smiled as he saw a plate of rice, beans, and carne guisada with some tortillas. He grinned as the waiter came up and placed a strange muggled drink in front of him. "This is a margarita, i think you'll enjoy it" he said as Remy smiled and said "thank you" before taking a sip of it.

Dream watched Remy look at his food happily and then she cocked her head to one side to look at the drink that the waiter handed Remy. "A margarita?" she repeated curiously. She looked at her own plate as the waiter lifted the cover off of it and she smiled happily at what was in front of her. It wasn't chicken parmigana at all. It was surf and turf. There was a small filet mignon that had an herbed red wine reduction sauce on it and a large lobster tail with a container next to it of clarified butter with garlic to dip it into. "Oh my god, yummy!" she said ecstatically.

Remy looked at dream's plate and grinned as he saw her face lit up. He proceeded to eat the meal in front of him as he looked out the window at the scenery every now and then stopping to loook at dream and blush. He finished eating after a while and motioned the waiter over and whispered in his ear. He smiled and rushed away and came back with two venti quad shot mocha frappucinno's. Remy grabbed them and handed one to dream with a smile on his face. "here ya go red" he said happily as he sipped on his.

Dream ate her dinner very slowly, enjoying every bite. She was getting too stuffed to finish her steak so she pushed the plate away from herself. She looked out the window to the view below and she smiled as she saw the little boats carrying people through the city on the canals. "What do the muggles call those little boats? They remind me of the boat in the Tunnel of Love ride. We should go do that." she said to Remy. She turned to look at him for his response when the waiter walked up to them and handed her a mocha frappacino. Her eyes lit up and she took a sip. It was done exactly the way that she always ordered it. "Thank you Remy." she said happily before taking another sip.

Remy looked out the window as he heard dreams comment and shook his head "i have no idea what they call those little boats" he said honestly. He finished his drink and grabbed a napking wiping down his mouth. He began thinking about what could possibly be coming up next he had no idea so he prepared for anything.

Dream finished her frappacino with a sigh of delight. She looked at the clock and looked at Remy. "You ready to get out of here?" she asked him as the waiter cleared away their dishes. "Thank you, it was lovely!" she said to the waiter sincerely.

Remy nodded his head as he heard dream ask him if he was ready to leave. He got up from his chair and walked over to the waiter. "Everything was just fantastic and i want to give you a little something" remy said as he reached into his pocket. He pulled out a pen and grabbed a napkin and happily signed it "to the waiter who was a great waiting person. I have seen people wait before but this guy waited like a professional.....Remy" he looked it over and knew it was perfect as he handed it to him. Remy knew no amount of money could compare with a note personally signed by himself.

Dream watched Remy go up to the waiter and give him a napkin with his name on it. She just blinked at him in disbelief. Sometimes his arrogance just really astounded her. She shook her head at him and waited until he'd walked out the door to give the waiter a huge tip and a pair of tickets to the local theater. "You really did make it wonderful. Thank you." she said. Then she walked out after Remy. She walked back into the elevator and out the dingy looking room. She walked up to the Rolls Royce and got inside as the chauffer opened the door for her, and waited for Remy to join them.

Remy quickly followed dream and got into the Rolls Royce. He grinned at the chauffer and happily said "off to the bat cave alfred" as he turned to dream and kissed her cheek. "I am having so much fun" he said happily "this day has been so awesome" he grinned as he wondered if the day was over already.

Dream grinned at Remy as he told her how much he'd enjoyed everything so far. The night was almost over and shehad big plans for the next day, but she had one last surprise set up for tonight before they went back to their hotel suite. They drove along for a few minutes before coming to a stop in a drive-thru movie theater that was showing nothing but old X-Men cartoons on it and the drive-thru was completely empty except for them and the fully staffed snack bar. Dream looked over at Remy to see what his reaction would be. She really hoped he would like it.

Remy looked out the window and smiled as he saw the theater was playing nothing but xmen cartoons. He looked at dream and grinned as he got out of the car and walked over to the snack bar. He soon came back with his hands full of snack foods and a huge smile on his face.
