WOW, please tell me somebody else has finished it. I thought it was AMAZING. Easily the best of the series.
Im just glad that Harry didnt really die in the end. I would have been gutted.
There seemed to be action packed into every chapter. I can't imagine that the film is gonna be ablw to live up to it!!
Im thought that Snape would have been good all along, but the plan with him and DD because DD was already dying was unexpected and really good.
I also liked the last chapter, the two obvious couples but i also liked the Snape quote that Harry said to his son he had named after him. "Abus Severus....you were named for two headmasters of Hogwarts. One of them was in Slytherin and he was probably the bravest man i ever knew."
GREAT GREAT BOOK!! I think I'm going to read it again!
^_^ I loved the parts where Tom Riddle showed Ron his greatest fear and where Hermione kissed Ron!!! YIPEEE!! I hated the people that died but I was glad Harry didn't really commit suicide or anything... JK was treading on a really a fine borderline based on the whole death thing... Going a bit further than that would've caused ALOT of critique lol And the Dumbledore in his head thing was weird too!

SHE KILLED FRED! I don't know what you people are so happy about. I hated that Hedwig died. The whole Snape and DD planned it, was mentioned a few times in debates, however I didn't see the fact that DD was already dying, coming at all! That was a cool twist. I loved that Harry found the letter that Lily had written to Sirius, and the picture of Harry on his toy broom. i thought it was pretty lame that both James and Lily didnt have their wands on them. Weren't living in hiding? Wouldn't you always be prepared no matter what precautions you took? Grrrr.... Poor Dobby... LOVED Molly Weasley going after Bella Lestrange. That was great. I really kind of expected Harry and Draco to come out of this whole thing almost as friends. instead they were just curt acquaintances. No longer enemies, yet still unable to be friends. Such a shame. I liked how Harry told little Albus that it was ok to be a Slytherin, but that he had the choice. I hated that he didn't name anyone after Sirius, but he named all the rest of kids after others, including Snape. I think James Sirius would have been a cool name. Ok I have more to say, but I'll stop my rant for now. :P

His middle name was Snapes first name that i can't spell to save my life. I loved the mushy bits. My sisters' gasps at Ginny snogging Harry, her crys at the image the locket made, her angwish that Harry and Hermione didn't get together and that they loved eachother like brother and sister... music to my ears. But personally, I thought there was some holes, but I still LOVED it!!!!!! Best book eva!

FTW!!! :D

Where do I begin?!?!

Ok . . . ROFLMAO @ Holey jokes! I laugh for long time!

Seriously though, it's the type of thing my friends and myself would do . . . make the stupidest jokes ever about it. I think that's what really got me going

Anyway . . . *SQUEE* at Krecher. I seriously love him now, though I kinda miss the moddy one too.

*SQUEE* At multi-hair-coloured werewolf running around Hogwarts that will hopefully go off and eat the poorly named children . . . even though that's not possible since Teddy wont be at Howgwarts no more but whatever. He would be putting half those kids out of their misery . . . Scorpius . . . Albus Severus?!?!? What parents in their right minds would . . . well they are probably not in their right minds so . . . yeah.

Anyway . . . Teddy your dad was a dick. I don't really like Lupin anymore . . . Tonks did deservde better.

Ron you are also a dick . . . but I forgive you because I like it when your grumpy at Harry for some reason. Boys bitching at one another is always more amusing then when girls do it anyway . . .

Bellatrix . . . was awsome. Seriously, anyone who bounces around with sharp pointy objects and who is completely insane = awsome . . . woot at torturing Hermione too. I like Hermione but, well I dunno . . . had to happen I guess. Though I would like to know why the idiots had to get Dobby to get them outta Malfoy Manor when Ron had the Doowatsithing from Dumbledore. I'm pretty sure he would WANT a way to get out there.

Harry your half/dead/wahetever chapter was lame . . . WHY COULDNT YOU JUST DIE AND BE DONE WITH IT!! *shakes fist* Nah . . . I didn't really want him to die, I just wanted him to go insane or something. :D 'Cause I'm so nice and all.

Severus Snape . . . heehee vampire bat heehee . . . nuff said

Voldemort! OOoo Taboo . . . I liked the taboo . . . that was pretty neat, though when it was found out that he could fly I kept imagining him as Peter Pan. The constant "He can fly"s didn't help I guess but I was kinda disapointed by Voldemort. I thought he would be more evil . . . instead Umbridge seemed more evil.

I loved Umbridge . . . there is nothing eviler then a pink obsessed pyschopath. :D

Ginny . . . wasn't she meant to be cool in this or something?!?! Wasn't she meant to kick arse. SHE DIDNT DO ANYTHING!! Just looked grumpy and glared at people before disapereing for like ten minutes so people could worry about her.

Draco Malfoy . . . and I thought he couldn't get any more pathetic. Such a mummy's boy! :) Narcissa was awsome though . . . Harry would so be screwed if it wasn't for her. WOOT for the Malfoys sneaking out of trouble again anyway . . . but WTFrigg @ the peacocks. Does Lucius have some kind of weird fetish or something. Oh well, at least we know whose tent was whose at the Quidditch world cup now. :P

I'm pissed about JK killing off Fred though . . . however I probably wouldn't have cared if it was George that was killed. It's just the name . . .

Percy . . . you are so nerdily awsome it's funny. Mrs Weasley . . . well we know where Ginyy got her kickarseness from even though it disapered in this book. Mr Weasley . . . even in the middle of a war he still has to play with muggle stuff. *shakes head*

Dudley WTFRIGG was up with you . . . ?!?!

Snape and Lilly . . . didn't really seem to fit in my opinion but whatever. That chapter was cute anyway :D

McG I LUB YOU!! Stampeding desks ROFL!!! She is so bloody awsome it's not funny!!

I have a million other things I wanna ramble out but I'm so far behind in h/w it isn't funny
Well, by the lice of Merlin's Beard, I can't top Shonkie's rant, so I wont try. :P
Because I agree with her entirely on most points. But I'll add some. Me, I'm a Ron fan. So, my mind drifted back to book four about the whole 'abandoning Harry' issue. You know, I don't care what was rolling through his mind with that locket about his neck, I don't think after the events of GoF that Ron would ever take off on Harry again! Yeah, he'd moan and grumble and be a surely mo-fo to deal with, but leave? Ack, if he hadn't redeemed himself in the 'Silver Doe' chapter-- quite well may I ad--- I would have darn near quit reading the book then and there! Erg.

Aberforth, I friggin adore Aberforth Dumbledore. All jokes about inappropriate charms on Goats aside, this man is one of my new heroes! I mean, heh, the whole argument about a goat not being a stag-- priceless! Sad though, that his issues with goats comes from his sister always going out to feed them in their youth...

Oh yes, Shonkie had a great point, McGonagall was just FANTASTIC in this book! Seriously, she has the brains to let herself into Ravenclaw dormitories, and yet she has the true Gutsy Nature of a Gryffindor-- take out the Carraways (err, whatever) and lead the revolt against Voldermort from Hogwarts. Is she a teacher or a battle Queen? I'd give her both!

Kreacher coming back at the end to lead the house-elves --- priceless! Especially as he was rallying for Regulus, not Harry :P

Anyone else fascinated by the suddenly talking patronuses? Or amused that Mr. Weasley has a weasel patronus, or that Ron's was a Retriever? My favorite, by far, would be Shackbolts pretty patronus...

The whole thing between Lilly and Snape, and THAT being the cause for Snape's loyalty to Dubledore just... kinda irked me. I didn't really like the way that played out. Really. The only thing I liked out of that was seeing the brisk side of Dumbledore that he showed to Snape.

And, random thing, anyone else amazed that Dumbledore was Friends with the late legend, Grindewald?

How about Mr. Lovegood. His name cracked me up, Xenophobius? Wow, his parents were intending that he not do much with the public and he winds up running a newspaper, go figure.

Okay, my brain is just rolling with comments at the moment, but I'll leave go here for now.
Shonk Da 'Onk - July 26, 2007 10:30 AM (GMT)
HAHA agrees with DL

Xenoblahbla . . . I shall have to go look up what the frigg that name means. I have a huge liking for weird names . . . though Hugo and Albus Severeus and Scorpius were just dumb :P

I wasn't that amazed about Grindelwald . . . it kinda made me happy that DD wasn't all chirpy and goodie his whole life. He was an arse. WOOT!!

I want to know what happened to the resurection stone. If it is still uhh, not destroyed couldn't Harry use it to revive all the people that died? Or was it just a one time thing and it only worked on keeping Harry alive?
