Okay I REALLY despise Cho Chang for tons of reasons. The pictures of her in the book sis pure ugly. . . . I hate her with Harry. She looks like a human cockroach. She only started to like Harry after Cedric died. . .she was on the rebound. . .no wonder the relationship never worked out.

Cho is suppose to be pretty from what I got from the book.

But I think she kind of liked Harry in the 4th book. She did seem sad that she couldn't go with him, so. . .

But I do hate her, don't get me wrong. You DO NOT talk about your ex on a date. And it makes it worse is that Harry has to think about how he died when she does. . .ugh that girl

Yeah, she was on the rebound, and couldn't stand not being with someone famous, so she went from Hufflepuff Quidditch star/ all around loveable guy to the next best thing: the boy who survived You Know Who

And then when she does hook Harry, she sits there and talks about how Cedric died!! Doesn't that just make Harry love her more :angry: Makes him feel like a real jerk for not saving his life, even though there was nothing he could have done to prevent it!!

And then she has the nerve to be all angry at him because he mentioned Hermione's name on their date!! I mean, come on, that was just lame. . . and she spent the whole time talking about another guy. Guess she just can't stand not being the center of attention, huh?

don't get me wrong, i don't like her either, and she certainly has made many mistakes! but i don't think she just started liking harry after cedric died....as a rebound relationship. i think if harry had been quicker to ask her out she would have gladly gone with him - and not cause he's famous. it would have played out a whole lot different. but as it is cedric got to her first and she started developing deeper feelings for him. and i cannot imagine what it would be like to loose your boyfriend at this age especially. and under such circumstances :( . she clearly was confused and needed someone. maybe she thought harry was the right person.....and she might have still had feelings for him, even if it was just like a friend. she was confused and scared and hurt and probably didn't realize how much she hurt harry and that she wasn't ready for a relationship yet.....


but please don't bash me now :ph43r: :D . like i said in the beginning: i don't like her either! what i like the least is that she didn't even appologize to harry and she seemed to care very little that she had hurt him, too. she probably didn't realize how hard it would be for harry to relieve, retell these events, but she defenitly should have!! it was very hard for her so she must have known it would be even harder for harry who witnessed it! and she's in ravenclaw!!

i really dont think he'll regret it. it happened and it's over. truthfully i liked cho in book 4 and i was happy harry had a crush. but then book 5 hit and i was like "what happened to cho! God i hate her now!" and i LOATHE her now. i'm so glad she's w/ michael now. they deserve each other.

Good point. We all had different opnions of Cho in the 4th book, then in the 5th. What did you guys think of Cho in the 4th book?

She seemed like a typical girlfriend who was mourning the loss of her boyfriend, but I dunno. How serious were here and Cedric? Maybe a bit more emotion from her. And I didn't like how she led Harry on!

I have to admit, I didnt hate her in the 4th book, I thought it would cute for Harry to ahve a girlfriend. But the way she treated him in OotP turned me off her completely!!

I know that her boyfriend has just died, but COME ON!!
