Harry/ Ginny is my absoulute favorite ship..... so what do you all think about it?

I dunno. . . I've never really gone for that one. . . I have no idea why though.

i love ginny and harry together. but i dunno what's going to happen with them now. harry doesnt really see ginny that way and she's over him. and they would be a lot like harry's parents (appearance wise). i dunno...i wish it would happen but i doubt it.

oy! i never thought about the fact that they would be so much like james & lilly in their appearance. that just makes me like them even more :D !

i don't know if there is any basis for their relationship. ginny's crush on harry was ages ago, but that doesn't mean that she can't develop some feelings for him again and the same the other way around. they've grown so much! ginny has really matured! i would like them to be together and i know ron's reaction would be hilarious....and they would make a powerful couple.....but there hasn't been any foreshadowing, no clues. it would almost be as if it came out of nowhere. but there hasn't been with any other female, either - exept for that little scene with luna, and cho is defenitly over. so it might come unexpected - to us as well as harry and his new love, which btw i believe he IS gonna have one in the next book mainly because of the clue on the bloomsbury site :)

I've never really gotten this ship before. I mean it would be kinnda cute, but they never talk in the books. The most they do talk is in the 5th book and even that isn't a lot.

It is true that Ginny had a crush on Harry but I really do believe that was a "oooo an older boy who is famous!"

I agree again! I think it was like someone having a crush on Orlando Bloom: you like him cause he's famous (and it doesn't hurt that he's drop dead gorgeous either!! :lol: ). That's exactly what Ginny was feeling; awe for a famous person who also happens to be her brother's best friend. I don't really see this as a possible couple in the future. . . but Harry definitely needs someone soon!

i dunno. granted, it's been a while since i've read the books.....little while anyway, but i thought there was more interaction between them two than that.
and i've been trying to figure out which other girl he talked to besides hermione or cho. lavender and this other girl come to mind, but i don't think it's either of them.
also, ginny is now on the team, and assuming harry is still going to be on the team in the next book, they're automatically going to spend more time together and on a regular basis.
i cannot wait to see who it's going to be because of course you guys are totally right about this "older famous guy crush". and from what we've seen ginny is interested in other boys now....she even has a boyfriend or likes another boy, unless she only said that to mess with ron. but i just can't think of who it could be and of noone i'ld like it to be more.

Nope there isn't. Ginny never could talk infront of Harry because of that crush she had on him in the first few books.

i think ginny is too young 4 harry and they just dont make a good couple. im srry if any 1 disagrees but that is my opinion so dont get mad.

Yeah, my parents are 5 years apart too. The age factor isn't really important. But yeah, I still think it was a schoolgirl crush, and she's moved on since then. Although I can't wait to find out who Harry ends up with!! :D

well, you could also say she didn't know him when she had that crush on him - she just knew OF him. now she's been around him more and has gotten to know and who's to say just cause she had a crush on him before she can't like him again now that she knows him as a friend .......

Yes, exactly!!! And she because she's dating other people know doesnt mean she cant like Harry, we all know people who have dated others to get over someone.

Yeah that's true, but I still don't think she likes him anymore. But she seems to want to date all the guys in Harry's year though!! :lol: But yeah, I don't really see them together..... Ron prolly wouldn't like that anyways, and it would be weird, dating your best friend's younger sister... very awkard, in a nutshell...

Well, he likes Harry an awful lot more that Michael Corner or whatever. And, he's less likely to plot Harry's downfall than he is if she were to date some other dude.

yah, there are some reasons why ron would be mad, but i think he wouldhappy. Because he trusts Harry.

he likes and trusts harry but i can see how it would be very weird for ron if his best friend is dating his little sister :P . but then again, he isn't really one of those guys that gets totally embarresed hanging out with his sister - they get along.

so who thinks it might actually happen, harry dating ginny? i DO! i have to re-read the books, but i remember them becoming a bit closer, and especially after harry had that dream/vision about the snake attacking arthur, ginny was really there for him! i probably already said that somewhere, but ginny is a very smart, brave and caring witch! and she's getting more powerful every year! they could be so right for each other :)

I'm still pretty iffy about them.... and I still don't know why. For me, they just don't really go together.... maybe they will get together in the next book and maybe they won't.... I just don't see them as a couple.

I love this ship. Harry and Ginny have both faced horrors in the form of Voldemort and are both very mature for their age (well, Harry not as much). She'd be able to bring down his rather large head and comfort him. He'd provide love and protection for her. Plus she's a red head. So was Lily. See the connection...

I think Ron would be upset at first, but he'd get over it.
