Greetings! It's been a long time since a newsletter, right? Sorry for that. In March, my computer crashed and I had to go awhile without it. But now it's back, meaning that I'm back, better than ever! Catch all the latest forum and Harry Potter news right there. The site has been super busy these pass few weeks. --Class/Professor Sign Ups--
It's that time again! We're getting organized to start up our magical classes, essential for every wizardy student. So far, the term classes are as follow:

Session 1:
Potions
Defense Against the Dark Art

Session 2:
Charms
Herbology

If you are interested in signing up for a class, please sign up here With any type of magical classes, we also need student teachers to teach the classes. If you're interested in this, please visit this thread and sign up for that as well.

Details on when the classes will start and such will follow. Good luck all applicants!

--Challenge #12: Fashion Show--
We have a brand new Inter-House Challenge (that is, a competition between all 4 houses). This time, we're putting on the first ever LC Fashion Show. The task is for each house to created/design outfits for the categories provided.

Creating the outfits is completely up to you and your housemates.Some may choose to draw their outfits, others may find pictures online and modify them to their liking. Whatever the case may be, each house will work together to create an outfit for each category and then we have the Fashion Show. The Categories are:

*The outfit
*Description of outfit
*RPG walk down the catwalk
*Music to walk down with

Scores will be given individually and also for group work. Once the representive from your house has posted their catwalk, it is up to your fellow housemates to cheer them on and support them. Anyone else can also post in these threads (seeing as they will be in the audience as well) but only the members of your house will be judged for their support.

You will also be awarded points for your group effort (taken place in your houses) and organization. Details on the scoring and such, can be found here.

---HBP Read-Around--
Seeing as <i>Deathly Hallows</i> is just about to be released soon, many of us would like to review Half Blood Prince and are therefore having a read around in which we discuss each chapter, discussing the clues and theories that we have to everything that happens. Join us in the Book 7 Forum!

--The Library--
Thanks to one of our members, alrerretta, has volunteered to organize the Library. She has started threads on different magical subjects, like Potions, Herbology, Magical Creatures and more. Each member may post anything they'd like to add to the book, for example, if you have a potion that you'd like to add, you may do so. The magical books will be a good reference for when classes start.

Ah, lovely newsletter Rogue.

I should warn you that what went out to e-mail boxes this time looked a bit odd. Href's ect showed up in places where they shouldn't have. But, the information got across.

About the news. Awesome stuff going on here. Way to continue trying to rekindle active members. I like it. And the inter house competition. All though I could ask that there are not to many fashion shows in these competitions. We need something more masculine next time :tongue:

And the whole schooling business is starting up gain, eh? Woot, I need to get posting so I can afford school supplies! :wacko:
