Being a student here at the LC Wizardy Academy can be tough. But a few lucky students are awarded the title of Student Professors, that is, they are able to teach a magical class. They are still students, because they attend other classes, but at the same time they are a professor. Understand?

Are you interested in becoming a Student Professor? If so, fill out the form below. Keep in mind that not everyone who applies will get a position. Trust me, there will be plenty of jobs to go around in the future, so if you don't get this, look out for something later. Anywho, the list of avaiable classes are as follows:

More details about how the classes will be run will follow. But there will be 2 professors for each class, the main professor and their Teacher's Assistant. So just because you see someone else try out for the class that you would like, doesn't mean that's it's taken. Positions are opened to everyone (even newbies).

I will make the final decision based on your dedication to the boards, how active you are and your sample lesson. Hint: For the sample lesson, picture youself at Hogwarts for real and go from there. Have fun!

Why you should be chosen: I am extremely talented at potionmaking, and it is one of my best qualities. I have patients, for potion spills and mistakes, I will be available for %99.9 or more of the classes, I am responsible, and I am willing to have a large responsibility. I have also always seen myself as potions master!!! i love that title!!!! i am able to come up with great ideas when i need to, and i am and exellent rper and i can post long detailed posts. for more samples of my writing see my fanfic and that should give you an idea on how i write. i would love to do alot more for the lc and this is wat i see myself doing: teaching students about potions!!
Extremely Detailed Quality Sample Lesson: Cara strolled into the dungeon classroom, and closed the heavy door behind her. well well... she said looking around at her waiting class. looks like we have a interesting class this year she said slyly. Have you all been studying over the summer? well I hope you have, kuz today we will be making a confusing concoction. I am Professor Coles. There will be no fooling around tolerated in this class, though I will allow quiet talking, mishappen spills and common mistakes. The instructions(she waved her wand and words appeared on the board) will have to be followed exactly in order for the potion to be effective. The ingredients are in the store cupboard here. Professor Coles pointed at a large cabinet. you have 45 minutes to complete this task. At the end of this time, I will come around and check on all your potions. For homework tonight I want a 6inch essay on the properties of a moonstone, and its uses in potionmaking. you may start now. she turned around, her cloak swishing behind her and sat down at her desk to do some paperwork.


Instructions:
1. set your caukdron at 45c.
2. crush up your roots and beans
3. add them to your cauldron slowly stirring in a counter clockwise direction.
4. let it simmer at 35c for 10 minutes, then add powered moonstone and stir in a clockwise direction 15 times
5. crush up beetles and add them to the cauldron along with 5 pints of flobberworm mucus, and 1 pinch of powered unicorn horn.
6. turn off the heat on your cauldron, add a leave from a venomous tentacula and let it cool for the remaining time.


Ingredients:
roots of ashpohdel
bean pods
1 pint of powered moonstone
4 beetles
5 pints of flobberworm mucus
1 pinch of powered unicorn horn
EVERYTHING WILL BE LABLED SO THERE WILL BE NO CONFUSION

Professor Plonk leant casually against the dungeon wall as one by one her students filled into the room and found themselves a seat. They watched her carefully out of the corner of her eyes and she knew they were trying to assess just what type of teacher she would be. Would she be srtict or laidback, or perhaps just completely pathetic?

Silence settled over the room as finally everyone had settled into their seats. Moving switfly over to her desk at the front of the room she barked out an order ('Turn to the start of chapter one in Potion Making for Dummies') and grinned as instantly everyone complied.

"Today we shall be doing theory," she added as her grin pushed the boundries of looking gleeful. The class groaned as Shonk settled herself into her seat and, still grinning, she appointed a student in the first row to start reading.

Well, she thought to herself happily, she couldn't have her students blowing up the dungeon . . . at least not yet.

Why you should be chosen: I know a lot about herbs and plants including the ones in the HP books.
Extremely Detailed Quality Sample Lesson

Alfie stood in green house 1 waiting for her students to arrive. She had started studing herbs when she was 3 Years old and hoped she could help the class be just as interested in them as she was.

As the class began to come into the green house Alfie smiled hoping that the class would feel less nerves. She wanted them to feel like they could talk to her if they had a question.


On one of the tables she had 20 pots, all empty just waiting to have plants put in them. On another table she had seedlings waiting to be put into pots.

After the class went over some basic rules about plants she would have them plant the plants.

She saw that the class keep looking at her with the look of want will she be like on their faces.

Okay class I, in case you don't know or haven't meet me, am Alfie and I will do all I can to help you learn about some of the basic plants that you will most likely use in other classes here at Hogwarts. We will have to touch on the basic rules when handling plant of different types.

If you all would like we can start at the beginning if any of you don't know anything about plants. Oh and it's okay if you don't know anything about them for that is why you are here, to learn.


She then waited for the class to let her know what they desided, though this would be the only time she gave them an option, she couldn't have the class going around thinking she was a push over.

Why you should be chosen: because ive been a round a while and know a lot of the students ect. and i am very responsible plus i am very creative and can make something up quick if needed

Extremely Detailed Quality Sample Lesson: Belle sat at her desk waiting for the class to begin. As soon as everyone was in their seat and quite she got up and introduced herself.

"Hello all my name is Professer Woods, now today we will learn how to become a 'chameleon' so to speak. What will happen is you will be able to take the color and texture of whatever is behind you. who would like to try first" She waited for a second for a student to raise there hand.

Belle called on _______ and had them stand up.

"Ready?" She asked waiting for a response. They nodded and she continued.

"Okay this is what you do. Take your wand and tap it twice on both the shoulders. Then point your wand at their chest and say disillusion." Just then _____ seemed to disappear. Everyone gasped in awe.

"Alright now to change them back tap them one on each shoulder point the wand to their nose and say illusion ." ____ quickly came back into view. The students all clapped and looked eager to try it.

"Now Pair off and work on it together if you need assistence i will be at my desk." Belle walked behind her desk and picked up the Daily Prophet to read.

Why you should be chosen: Cause I am funnny and intresting so my class will be funny and interesting but everyone could still learn from it

*Drake walked into the Charm's classroom and looked at the few students who decided to show up that day*

"Hello young wizards glad to see so many talented ones in here. As for you young witchs you have to show those guys your better then them. So for today we're going to split into two groups guys vs. girls. Are you up for it?"

Student: "Professer shouldn't we wait for the rest of the class before beggining?"

"It is their choice to not show up and since you have made the choice to show up why don't we beggin? Okay, so what we're going to do is girls on one side of the room boys on the other. Take out your wands and try to repair althose books over there," Drake points to were the pile of books are."the team with the most repaired books by the end of class wins. Okay lets beg..."

Student cuts Drake off: "But Professer those books are in perfect condition."

D: "Oh right. Forgot about that. By the Way enough with that Professer stuff call me Drake."

Drake takes out his wand points it at the books and says "Diffindo". Then watches as the books explode into abunch of peices. He hears some of his class gasp and sigh in amazment.

"Now you can begin. The spell to repair these books is repairo. Good luck, I'll be at my desk if you need me."

I would assume this is the case... which is why I am not so sure if I want to bother applying for a teacher position. Cause iono, there could be all kinds of other interesting classes to teach. and with only 4 positions, I doubt I would get one.

well if you dont apply then i can guarantee 100% you wont get one but if you try then you at least have a chance at one but you shouldn't apply for something you wont like either.

activeness: always on.....*i had a recent absent that involved moving.....but i assure you i spent every moment wishing i was here ;)*

Teaching Position Desired: DaDa

Why I should be chosen Well for one thing I love to teach and is the reason for my studies...I want to become a teacher.....*just in case anyone missed that*
I've also been here for a while and taken some bumps and bruises which attribute to my gaining knowledge of the dark forces and having first handedly experienced all the unforgivable curses...I love to help and assist and will serve this community in any way possible, so i will always be on hand for any assignment issues should they arise.....

PS: I also personally plan to disband the 1 year curse set upon the DaDa teachers....

Sample RP:
Leona walked into the classroom with a confident and intimidating gait, she adjusted her horn rimmed glasses as an excuse to examine her student body. They all seem somewhat prepared for learning, and all but some appeared awake. She looked down at one particular snoozer and rapped her fingernails on his desk. He groggily lifted his head up and his eyes shot wide in horror as he realized it was the teacher who did the rousing.

"Tell me...er..Mr..Mr. Bryant, if one were to go down to the lake an have a chance encounter with a mermaid whilst sitting on a beach what would one talk about all day, hm?" she said lowering her glasses and giving him a cheerfully sweet smile and a wink.

the boy looked around in amazement at the oddness of the question asked and answered slowly, "why, I suppose, professor...we might chat about...The weather?" Leona rolled her eyes, why is it ALWAYS the first years? She thought.

"That's incorrect, Mr Bryant..." Leona said her tone now stern....and walked over to the chalk board and pointed her wand at it, immediately diagrams and numbers were being written on the board. "Mermaids," she began *now the class began scribbling furiously* "cannot speak above ground, the tissue structure of the throat cannot handle the dryness of the above ground world and thus their speech becomes shrieked, reminiscent of the Irish Banshee, which we'll learn about later this year," Leona paused to catch her breath and let the others finish with their notes, "tonight, for homework I want a one foot scroll detailed with history of merpeople along with an original sketch of a merperson to be compared with the entire class tomorrow as part two of todays lesson....That is all, Class you have the rest of the hour to start your assignment," With that Leona gave a nod and sat down at the desk and prepared to field any questions from the students.

Why you should be chosen: Well I love rpg teaching its always fun and the fact that Im in slytherin and who owuld know more about the dark arts them me and the fact that I have had dada classes on other sites and know alot about whats supposed to happen.


Extremely Detailed Quality Sample Lesson:

1st year lesson.


Aiden took his time as he walked in teh class his robes lightly billowign behind him, his eyes looking across the room and the students in teh room. He grinned at them all as he walked down the walkway.

He then proceded to jump up on the edge of his desk and give them a smile. He then told them all in a voice that was calm and cool, " Im going to be upfront with you right now this class wont be easy were going to go over a few thigns this semester that wont be easy such as the supposed dark creatures" he said putting air quotes around dark creatures. "Were also going over dementors and the dark arts," he said putting air quotes around dark arts. "So before we begin I need to know are you in this for the long hall or not?" he asked lookign around" Cause if not the door is open for you all to leave," he said lookign over at each one of them seeing if they would leave?

When none of them left he smiled okay so then the first lesson is that I want to go over some of the supposed dark spells. Now one of them is the Avada Kerdava spell. They say that this is an unforgivable but it really isnt an unforgivable. Do you know why? Because it can be used for good," he said now jumping off teh desk and walkign around the aisles. "For example if you saw someone in terrible paina nd knew they were going to die, would you want them to go through that pain for the last few hours of their life?" "The way I see it is that there are no Dark Spells just Bad Intentions."

"Now lets get on to the fun part of the class were going to go ove rthe spells you already know just so I can get an understanding of where yoru all at. Now can anyone tell me what spell is used to block curses?" He asked waiting for a hand to shoot up.

As he looked around he saw one of the Ravenclaws throw their hands up in the air, he acknowledged her by nodding in her direction and saying her name, "Brianna, do you know?" Aiden asked.

"Yes, it's protego," she said Grinning smugly.

"Well done, Now before we jump into the practice part and I teach you all how to perform the spell I would liek each of you to right htis down in your books for homework. I want 10 spells, 5 fro offense and 5 for defense or that could be used for defense."

Now on the the practicing he said "Take out your wands and do this motion," he said showing them the fliking motion. "Now lets break into pairs and you all show me what you have."

How much time do you spend on the LC: Im on literally everyday. about 4-5 hours on a good day maybe 2-3 on a bad one.

Class Desired: Potions Master

Why you should be chosen: As my dad is a healer at St. Mungos i have been around potions most of my life. I would be a friendly, easy to approach professor but would know when to put my foot down if necessary. I also had an idea to make a thread in my classroom page that i would turn into a fairly detailed textbook giving the pupils something to read and research when doin homework.

Extremely Detailed Quality Sample Lesson:
Professor Mark Silvershade sat quietly at the back of the dindgy potions classroom as nervous students shuffled in for their first potions lesson of the term. Some of the students looked over to him before taking a seat, he gave these students re-assuring smiles before glancing around the classroom once more. After a couple of minutes the classromm filled up and Mark stood. He was pleased with the attendance of his first class and hoped it was a sign of things to come. Afew of the student at the back of the room were still talking amongst themselves, mark cleared his throat and the room fell silent. "Welcome class, to a new term of Potions here at Hogwarts" he beamed a huge smile around the classroom. "Today, will be more of an introducion that anything else. So you can put your cauldrons on the floor and grab some parchment and a quill" This was met with afew groans from around the room. "Dont worry, we'll start the fun soon enough, but this introduction to the theory is just as important." He paced the front of the classroom as students moved their cauldrons to one side and pulled out their writing materials.

"Ok then" he said as he lazily waved his wand over to the blackboard at the front of the class. Writing appeared as if from no where and he began to explain its meaning. "The first thing you need to know about potions, is the three stages, vital to every potion that you will ever make" He walked over to the store cupboard and re-appeared holding an armfull of ingredients and an empty bottle. "It is for this reason, every potions you make will contain at least three ingredients; at least one for each stage. The more complicated potions will contain more than three ingredients as they require more than one ingredient for each stage." He walked over to a large self stirring cauldron and placed the ingredients next to it. "Today i will explain the three stages, by making a simple hair growth tonic" He picked up the first ingredient which was; wings from cornish pixies and dropped them into the cauldron. "The first stage is known as the activation stage . The ingredients in this stage, contain the activating ingredient necessary to add the magical properties to the potion." He looked around the room for a minute allowing the students time to copy this to their notes. He turned back to the cauldron and picked up the second ingredient; blood from a flesh eating slug. "The second stage is called the stabiliser . This stage is to control the active ingredient and ensure its effects arnt too powerfull and harmfull to the consumer " he poured the blood into the cauldron, which gave off a faint hissing sound. Again he paused to let his students copy this down. "The third stage is simply know as the sweetener and its job is to make the potion edible without causing the drinkier to feel nauseous" At this point he added the final ingredient; ground doxy eggs. The potions bubbled for a second before turning a glorious amber colour. "Perfect" he said as he looked at the potion before walking up and down between the students as they copied the notes.

He looked over at the clock and realised the lesson had to come to a close. "Now next time we will cover how much of the ingredients you need and if there is time......i will let you all experiment with some ingredients" A buzz of enthusiasm ran throught the room, casuing Mark to smile.
"But before next lesson i expect a foot of parchment on the three stages of a potion for homework. Taking particular care when mentioning why each stage in necessary. You will also be required to research in the library, and write the name of a simple three ingerdient potion, stating all three ingredients and which stage they act as." He returned to his desk and took a seat while student quickly scribbled down their himework task.
"Unless there are any questions, you are now free to leave."

How much time do you spend on the LC: Everyday 1-4 hours

Class Desired: Charms

Why you should be chosen: My cousins work in Hungary with dragons and must be equipped with a number of charms to handle the beasts. I've learned quite a couple from them.

Extremely Detailed Quality Sample Lesson: Professor Mari Maeda quickly prepared her Charms class, double checking that the leather bound books and goblets filled with water were on each desk. She smiled softly as the students came in and groaned at the sight of books.

"Now, now class, welcome to Charms, I am professor Maeda and..." Professor Maeda indicated to the books, "we're not going to be reading them, we're going to be using them for a spell."

The class seemed to lighten up and stared at the Professor in anticipation.

"Alright, everyone, take out your wands," the professor took out hers as well as and example and placed a book and goblet on her desk, "Can everyone see? Wonderful."

She flicked her wand at the book and called, "Impervius!"

There was a flash and students leaned over to take a look. The book looked completely normal. The students furrowed their eyes and looked up at the teacher for an explanation.

"This is the impervius spell--it makes something waterproof," professor Maeda took the goblet of water and poured it slowly over the book.

The class gasped as the water tried to land on the book but was instantly repelled away and onto the class. The students shrieked as the water hit them and laughed.

"Now the pronounciation for this spell is im-PER-vee-us! Everyone repeat after me," the professor cleared her throat and repeated, "im-PER-vee-us!"

The class chimed, "im-PER-vee-us!"

"Good good," Professor Maeda walked about the room, "Now try the spell on the books!"

The class began practicing and a couple of problems did occur, like instead of repelling it doubled the water and other minor issues but in overall the class took the assignment pretty well.

"Now before class ends--" But the bell rang before the professor could continued.

The class bustled out and Mari sighed. She took a stack of parchments she had incase of this problem. Each one gave instructions on the homework, with the name of the student magicked on top. Mari muttered a spell and all the papers rushed out of the classroom to find its owner.

"Now that wasn't too bad, was it?" Professor Maeda murmured to herself and returned to her desk.

How much time you spend on the LC: 2-3 hours everyday
Class desired: Charms (hence the last name)

Why should you be chosen: I know EVERY charm that there has ever been and would love to teach them to those who are willing to learn them. I speak fluent Latin and Spanish (no seriously, I really do) which will be helpful when learning the names of charms and spells as many of them have Latin and Spanish roots.

Extremely detailed class description:

Professor Dulcedo quickly prepared for the first class of the day. She smiled as the students filed in and took their seats at the tables.

"Hello everyone. I am Professor Dulcedo, your charms teacher. Today's lesson, will be a happy lesson." she said, the students exchanged glances before turning their attention back to the front of the room. "No seriously, a happy lesson. Today we will be reviewing cheering charms and, for those of you who perform well will be moving on to learn the tickling charm, Rictisempra." she smiled again as the students began to buzz with excitement.

"Now everyone find a partner and begin working on cheering charms as all of you already know how to do them, once you've succesfully made your partner very cheerful you may come up to me and I shall teach you the tickling charm."

The students found partners and began to practice cheering charms, and, one by one came up to her beaming from ear to ear and feeling very cheerful.

"Okay now that most of you have successfully completed the cheering charms, you will now learn the tickling charm." she said as she weaved through the tables of beaming and cheerful students. "You will find a partner and wave your wand in a bit of a circular swish, (she performed the movement) and shout the incantation; 'rictisempra!' now off you go and practice."

She watched them once again head off in pairs and one by one explode in fits of uncontrollable laughter, at which point she hurried over to perform the counter-spell.

At the end of class everyone was positively beaming with excitement.(and from the excess of the cheering charms) "Well everyone I'm glad you've had fun and for you homework *slight groan from those whose cheering charms had worn off* I would like for you to please write a list of color changing charms, which is what we will be working on for next class."

The bell rang at the end of class and the students gathered up their things and headed out of the room chatting excitedly about the "happy charms lesson". Emily smiled to herself about having such a successful lesson.

Why you should be chosen: I am quick to think up ideas and i am dedicated and i like coming up with and finding about interesting new plants and then teaching about them.

Extremely Detailed Quality Sample Lesson:

Professor Sterling stepped cheerfully into the front of her waiting class. she had been outside tending to her garden and only just remembered she had a class to teach. she looked around at the pots filled with some black frilly looking plants wich were quivering slightly and grinned. "good morning class, i am Prosessor Sterling." she chirped. "today we will be learning about these plants in front of you all" she waved her hand at the trays and grinned at her class again. "they are called bontrucsulals. they are used in rare, difficult and advanced potions such as the felix filices, the good luck potion. I am going to teach you how to take care of these interisting plants." Professor Sterling walked around her desk and picked up a pot with one in it and carried it over setting it on a table. "there are enough here for one each. u may pick yours out now." She watched happily as her class each chose one. "today, i will be teaching you how to clean them and wat they eat. yes i said clean them. see if u dont, they become covered in a thick black tar and they become completely useless. first pick up your scrub brush that is in front of you. then start scrubbing the underside of each of the leaves." Professor Sterling demonstrated a circular gental scrubbing motion and watched the class follow her lead. "ok ok, then you will work to the stems and do the same, then u will have to take out some of their soil and put fresh in. u will do that in 5 minutes. right now, i will tell u about wat they eat." Professor sterling pulled out a smaller tray full of diced slugs. Professor Sterling turned gracefully and glided over to her desk where she sat down and watched the class working silently.

The class had already assembled in the Defense Against the Dark Arts classroom, and Erin was busy in the back room preparing a few last things.


"You should hurry and get in there, your class is about to start."

Said a dried shrunken voodoo skull that Erin had found in the storage room.


"Oh shusht you, I can't find the roll sheet..."

She said, and finally found a large scroll of paper. She looked a bit flustered, her first class as a student professor, and the entire class was booked solid. She steeled herself, and walked out into the classroom, her green and silver lined professor's robes looking obviously too big on her lanky frame. Another thing she had to deal with, but regardless, it was time to get to work.

"Welcome to term 1's Defense Against the Dark Arts class, I will be your student Professor, Erin Edwards. You may call me Professor, Professor Edwards, Erin, or whatever, but if it's disrespectful, do not doubt that I will make your homework assignments longer than everyone else's.

Today we will be learning about the line between the Dark Arts, and what is acceptable by Wizarding Law. Everyone please get your books out, and turn to page 30,"

Erin said, and watched to make sure the class did so.

A Slytherin boy looked annoyed, and raised his hand. After waiting a moment, Erin called on him, to see what he wanted.

"Nathaniel Curtis? What do you want?"

"My Da said that the only reason the term 'the dark arts' exists, is because the Ministry wants to keep people from becoming too powerful. He says we should learn some of the these 'arts' in school."

"A good point Nathan, but some of the Dark Arts are too dangerous for the majority of people to know. Such as the Unforgiveable Curses. Now who can tell me what a Unforgiveable Curse is?"

A Ravenclaw girl in the front raised her hand.

"A unforgiveable curse is a curse that is outlawed, and merely casting one will get you a sentence in Azkaban."


"Very good Kirsti. Now tonights homework is a 6 inch scroll on the morality of using Unforgiveable Curses. But since we still have plenty of time in class, I will teach you one of the most effective self defense spells. The spell is the Shield Charm. Now everyone get into groups of two, and wands out!

The incantation is Protego! Remember to stress both the E and the final O. If you cast it correctly, there will be a slight haze around the caster. I'm sure most of you already know the impedimenta spell, since I have seen it used quite commonly in the hallways between classes, so use that, or some other minor jinx to test the strength of your shield charms. Now nobody hurt each other, and remember to CONCENTRATE as you cast, otherwise the strength of the spell won't be as good."

Erin started to walk around her students, offering pointers as needed, and unfortunately she had to hand out a detention to Nathaniel Curtis, who had cast a Bat-bogey hex on his partner, a young Ravenclaw boy. Such is the life of a professor she thought, as the class emptied at the end of the lesson. It could have been worse though.

Class Desired: Defense Against the Dark Arts
Why you should be chosen: One, because I've a quick, ready mind, and can adapt lessons based on the levels of the students inside of them. Two, because I know more jinxes than any other I've come across, and can block them just as easily. I have also taken an interest in magical creatures, mostly because danger is practically my middle name, and can include pieces with them as well.

Lower Level Example (1st - 3rd Year)

"Finally," Jacklyn muttered to herself as she walked down the center of the room, as the desks had been moved aside, "a chance to put my time spent planning instead of problem causing to test." Her black robes swirled behind her authoritatively, her boots thudding gently as she strode. As she reached her desk, she spun, gazing out at the class. "Welcome to Defense Against the Dark Arts, students. I'm Professor Barrie."

She sighed softly, leanding back against her desk. "Before we start off with basic dueling, any questions?" A third year in the back, a Slytherin, raised his hand, as well as a Gryffindor 2nd year in the front and a Hufflepuff 2nd year in the middle. Playing a bit of favortism, she picked the Slytherin.

"Professor," they began snottily, "we learned dueling basics as little kids, without our wands. Why are we doing this?"

Jacklyn snorted softly, not jumping down his throat, to her own surprise. "Third years won't be doing basics." Thinking quickly, she extracted her own wand from her robes. "Stand, and draw your wand, if you will," she said to the student. He complied with a heavy sigh, unhappy about listening to another student, his wand aimed directly at her. "Expelliarmus!" she shouted, sending the spell straight at him. His wand flew from his hand, and she smirked. "Unfortunately for you, you don't know yet how to block unfriendly spells." She turned her attention back to the class, a small smirk on her face. "Third years, I want you to start by pairing off. You'll be mastering blocking for today." Grumbling slightly, about a third of the class moved aside, and began to pick partners.

"Now, another question," Jacklyn stated, pointing to the Gryffindor.

"Is dueling all we'll be covering this year?"

Jacklyn smiled, and shook her head, her hair flapping about a bit. "No. We'll be covering a bit of history of the Dark Arts in the 19th century, as well as the basics of unfriendly magical creatures." Finally, she pointed to the Hufflepuff. "Yes?"

The girl shook her head, her face reddening slightly. "Same as the first, basically."

Jacklyn smiled, and nodded. "Alright," she said, clapping her hands together and rubbing them. "Now, second years, I would like you to pair up with a first year, as I believe there are equal numbers. I'd like you to show them manners, and to teach them the disarming spell I've already demonstrated. A note for your first years, firstly. Pronounciation is key, so make sure that you stress the 'e' sound. And be sure not to flick upwards too much, you don't want to send your partner to the hospital with a bloody nose." As more moving ensured, she moved to the cluster of third years.

"Now, how to block..."

Why you should be chosen: Im able to keep kids interested and I am good at having a lesson last a week with the weekends to do the homework on. I have also taught at other sites.

Dusty walked into the Defense Against the Dart Arts room. "Hello class." SHe began. "In this class we will go from Red Caps to Werewolves our first lesson being Red Caps. Now if you take your books out and open them up to page 5." She said as she watched the students take out their books and begin reading. "OK as your reading I will put up on the chalk board questions that will help you with your studying for homework."

Dusty turned to the board and started writing:

What is a redcap?

Why are they considered part of the dark arts?

How do you defend against a Red Cap?

Homework will be due by midnight on Sunday June 24th.

Dusty turned around and saw a few hands up in the air.

"Yes you may ask a question." Dusty said to the first student.

"Are those the only three questions you are putting up for us to have home work on?" he asked.

"No There will be more questions those are there as a guide and rest assured there will be those three. And if anyone has questions about Red caps that they want me to explain the answer better please ask but remember I might put those up to be part of your homework too." DUsty replied.

First off, I'd like to say a huge THANK YOU for all the applicants who submitted their applications. All of them were fun to read and extremely well written. Seriously, I had a very hard time making my decision. I'm glad that you all were patient with me and such in completing this. :) Basically, what it came down to was if you were active or not. A few posted application, but then seem to disappear from the site and you can't be a student professor if you are not active. So here are the results.
