Leo walking into the bar and ordered a cherry coke, waiting for her order she sat on the bar stool and tapped her fingers staring at the engagement ring that Daniel had given her. It had been so unexpected, but it felt right, Leo concluded. Her drink finally came and she took it and sat down with it at the table wondering if anyone was gonna join her.

Nik came up from the basement of the Hogs Head. He has been there an awful long time. He had almost ran out of oxygen. The first things Nik saw when he came up were A) Colors B) People and of corse C) Leona Peppercorn Queen of peppers that grow in corn fields. Nik walked up behind her and tapped on her sholder. "Why hello how are-" Nik suddenly got glimpse of her hand and his mouth dropped open. "Where'd you get that sucker?" Nik took hold of her hand to get a better look. "That must have been awful expensive...How'd you afford it?" He asked. Then noticing how rude that sounded he sat down beside her and gave her back her hand. "Sorry...But how did you get ahold of that diamond?"

Leo blinked, "Oh, hey Nik!" She smiled giving him a hug..."Ah...er...You're brother...gave it to me," she said smiling and looking at him. He was back too. It's amazing how EVERYONE of Dan's acquaintances had flocked back once he had. "So," she asked, "how are you?" When did you get back?

Dana Lynn walked into the bar smiling to herself and thinking about all the new things going on at Hogwarts. As she walked in she sees Leo sitting at the bar with a guy Dana didnt recognize. She walked up and sat beside Leo and ordered a butterbeer from the bartender. And then looked over at Leo and the guy. "Hi, Leo! whatcha up to today? Showing off that ring!" Dana grinned and looked over at the guy on the other side of her, "Hi, my name is Dana Lynn whats yours?"

"Yeah....Just coming for some drinks," she said smiling and holding up a cherry coke that she had been Drinking, "What have you been up to?" She asked Dana Lynn. being genuinely curious. "You want something to drink?" She asked Dana Lynn

Dana Lynn smiled at Leo "I haven't been up to much, just trying to keep busy around the castle and helping out with the oscars. It really is exhausting but it has been alot of fun." The bartender finally handed her her butterbeer and she handed her money. She opened it and took a sip of it then looked back to Leo "So has it sank in yet? And have you and Dan made any plans yet?"

Nik shook his head. "Huh?" He said when he heared Leo say Dan got it for her."Where'd Danny Boy get dough like that?" Nik was beginning to become himself again. Shame. He heared Dana introduce herself and he put out his hand. "I'm Nik. Nice to meet you!" He smiled then added, "You a Gryffindor too?"

"I have no idea," Leo shrugged her shoulders and took a sip of her cherry coke. "Apparently he has money," she laughed thinking of Dan saying 'like there was a doubt?!?' she was still laughing so she forced herself to stop, they must be thinking she was odd...

Dana Lynn grinned at Nik and shook his hand. "Nice to meet you Nik! Isn't Leo and Dans engagment so exciting? Oh, and yes I am a Gryffindor too!" She smiled and took another sip of her drink. She looked over at Leo and noticed something was wrong. "Leo, are you ok? I am here for you if you need to talk about anything."

"I am too but...Well...You know!" Said a voive from behind Leo. It was October she put her hand on Leo's eyes and rested her head on Leo's sholder and said "Guess who?" She knew that Leo knew so she took away her hands and went to the other side of her. "He got a job..."

Leo blinked as her eyes were covered, "er...hey october!" She said smiling, "and no Dana, I'm fine, thanks for checking though," she said amazed how every one began congregating here out of no where.

October smiled and gave Dana a hug. "Sooooo??? How does it feel???" Leona didn't know how long Dan had wanted to do this and October thought it best not to tell her so she said again. "He got a job Leo! That's how he got the money...A really bad job with really little pay and he worked all the time!"

"Aw...Leo said, "I really ought to make it up to him," she said smiling at October. "You know, I'm glad we didn't have to go on a rescue misson to get you back...Welll, we would have, but you know what I mean," she said hoping that she got the point...

Dana Lynn nodded at Leo and then turned to October and hugged her back and smiled. She listened to Leo and October talk "Yeah, October we are really glad that you are back! We really missed you alot!" After this Dana turned to the bartender " A round of drinks for Nik, Leo, October and myself please! We are celebrating!" Dana grinned at everyone so very happy for Leo.

Remy walked into the hogs head and smiled as he saw Leo,,Oct, Nik and Dana Lynn sitting together. He walked over to them and grinned "Hi guys so what are you doing? it looks as if your celebrating something he said as he waited for someone to answer

Leo waved Remy over, "hey, come join us for drinks," she just noticed that she waved him over with her left and and the ring caught the light nicly and it refracted it past Remy. Ooops, she thought, "now he's definitly gonna notice it," she laughed to herself.

"Hi leona, so you guys going to tell me what you all are doing? he said as he smirked. "If i didn't know any better it would seem as if your in the middle of a party but i could be mistaken" he said as he looked around for any clues as to what was going on.

"I'm engaged," she said in a tired tone, reflecting that she oughta known that Remy was no good at taking hints. She walked up to him and showed him the ring on her finger, "Dan worked really hard for it," she felt compelled to say, "so any way, that's why we're celebrating...."

"Wow that is so awesome, Leona congratulations" he said as he smiled at her. "Well now you gotta tell me all about it, Did he get down on one knee? How did he do it? come on girl spill the info" he said as he smirked. He was so curious that he couldn't stand still.

Leo blushed. "He threw the ring in the box at my face.....and.....said....nothing....He just watched my reaction and waited for me to make a connection...I think he has a fetish for seeing the gears in my head turn," she laughed some, but wished in the back of her mind.....ever so slightly that he did get down on one knee and say something romantic...I guess that's just not who he is....she sighed, then smiled at Remy.."so yeah, I put it on, and that was it," she laughed.

Remy smiled and said "well least its something your never going to forget and besides the most important thing is that your engaged to Dan he really is a great guy" he finished then thought to himself "oh no she did say dan didn't she? what if it was another guy that gave her the ring and i accidentally said the wrong name" Remy thought to himself.

"Yeah he is," she sighed and finished the last of her cherry coke. She frowned at the bottom of her glass. she handed her glass to the bartender and asked for another one. "You want anything?" She asked Remy, who looked unusually nervous.

"i guess i could go for a sparkling water" he said in response to her question. He grinned at seeing her so happy and then said teasingly "Hey leona your gonna have to start working out if you want to lug that chunk of rock around all day" He said as he giggled. He wondered if she was sore already from carrying that huge ring on her tiny finger.

Leona looked at the ring, "It's not THAT big," she said looking at it. It just appeared larger than it was on HER finger. It was a nice respectable size, it wasn't gaudy but every one sure acted like it was. It was always that was way though, now that she thought about it. People would always complain that the ring was either microscopic in size or....its antipode, sinkable. The bartender handed her her cherry coke and the sparkling water. She handed the water off to Remy. "There ya go.." she said....Then thought for a moment. It was gonna be awkward not having a father to give her away at the wedding, she thought randomly, but dismissed it just as quickly. She was thinking too far ahead.

Dana Lynn smiled and waved at Remy as he walked in. She took another drink of her butterbeer and looked back to Leo, "Well, I think I am going to go and take a walk by the lake before dinner. I will see you back in the common room later Leo! And congratulations again!" Dana smiled at her and then stood up and stretched before walking out of the Hogshead.

Dream was walking into the Hogs Head, just as Dana Lynn was walking out. Dream jumped to the side quickly, in order to avoid bumping into her. "Hiya Auntie!" she said cheerfully before continuing inside. She walked up to the bar and began having a conversation with the person behind the counter. He was gesturing at someone behind her, so she turned her head and her eyes started glowing, and she grinned as she spotted Remy across the room. She hadnt seen him all day so she quickly finished her conversation and walked up behind him. She draped her arms around his neck from behind, and let her hair envelope their faces for a moment of privacy as she whispered hi to him, and gave him a quick kiss. Then she raised her head, and blushed a little as she realised that he wasn't alone. She hadnt even noticed that someone else was with him, and that the person was Leo. She was about to crack a joke, when something on Leo's hand caught the light, and took away Dream's breath. "OH MY GOD!" she squealed. She practically jumped across Remy's lap, to grab Leo's hand and hold it up. "It absoloutely gorgegous!" she breathed in delight. She looked up at leo with a huge grin across her face. "Dan, of course?!?!" she said softly, so he wouldn't hear her, if he happened to come into the room.

Leona nodded and smiled at Dream, "yup, he proposed, all out of no where," she said smiling. It had been a most welcome shock. "Oh, and thank you for not calling it a sucker," she smiled, feeling relieved. She took a drink and looked over at Dream, "so, how has your day been?" She asked.

Remy smiled as he saw dream come up to him and just kiss him suddenly then say hi afterwards. That griffy girl was so unpredictable sometimes but that was one of the reasons he was so in love with her. He smiled at leo as he started to think of the wedding and all the yummy food that was going to be served.

Dream grinned at Remy before turning her attention back to Leo. "I'm good. I'm actually thirsty, and I had to check out some business. Let me buy you a drink! What would you like?" she asked.

Leo looked at her empty cherry coke. Well I already had two of these, she thought, "how about a diet coke," she smiled looking at Dream. She looked over at Remy, "so Remy, what type of food should we serve at the wedding?" She teased.

Remy smiled as he wondered how Leona knew he had been thinking about food but he grinned and said "umm how about popcorn and chicken strips" then he started laughing as he saw the expression on Leona's face but deep down he suddenly felt like eating some chicken strips now. He took a sip of his sparkling water and giggled as it really did sparkle a bit.

Leo laughed. She knew he'd say that. "Well, I'm sure we'll be able to sneak in some chicken strips for you," she laughed as the the bartender handed her a diet coke. "Man, I'm gonna have problems later," she said referring to how much soda she had been drinking.

"How about smoothies as well? that would be awesome and umm yea yea sour gummi bears wahoooo" Remy started naming junk food happily. "ooh and dont forget the tabasco sauce" he said not able to contain his laughter any longer. This was going to be an awesome wedding and he was so looking forward to it.

Leo was still smiling after the first two demands. But she began shaking her head, as he kept rambling on about food he wanted. "I'll just buy out a grocery store and a Mexican resturant, hows that?" she asked sarcastically.

"Oh gosh leo your the bestest" he siad as he went up to her and gave her a really huge hug. He turned to Dream and smiled "did ya hear that she's going to have mexican food as well at the wedding" he said very happily. He had not been this excited for something in such a long time (almost 20 minutes even :P )

Leo just smiled and nodded. "You know," She said. "Every one and their mother is already here..I wonder where Dan is?" She asked figuring that he would have found her by now. "Well...maybe he's working on our cabin.." she said out loud.

Remy heard leo's comment about everyone and there mother being there adn he turned to at dream. "Hey hon you didn't tell me your mom was here" he said as he looked around the place. It had been a while since he had last seen her and he wondered if she was still mad at him for the incident that had occured when last he saw her.

Leo blinked and sighed once more, "it's an expression Remy..." She was going to add to stop taking everything so literally, but that was who he was. The only thing you could do was teach. He would learn, if he so chose, on his own.

Dream had been grinning at Remy and Leo's anitcs, and just waiting for the pickles and "Coke" to be prought up, when suddenly Remy mentioned her mom. Dream's face fell, and her eyes got cloudy. She hadn't heard from her mom in a really long time. It wasn't like her to not at least send an owl, or visit through the Floo Network. Dream was really getting worried about her. Even MJ hadn't heard from her, although she'd been the last one to see her between the two of them. Dream blinked rapidly, not wanting to cry and ruin Leo's celebration.

October shook her head. Has she blanked out? Has she passed out? What had happened to her? She sat there thinking about it and faintly smiled when she had heared Remy talking about food. October Put her head on her hand and laughed a bit then decided to get back in on all the talking, after all, she had been listening for a while...
