Ok, i dont have any theories about his motives and all the usual stuff i normally write (celebrate! :naughty: )
BUT, i dont know if any of you have noticed this: In the GoF movie, when Voldemort is 'reborn'.. well, he's left-handed
:D

No I didn't notice that at all!! Good obervesation. But to be honest, in the movie they may have not picked up on the little things, so it could be just the actor is left handed. I don't know. But good job Heather!!

I think that is awesome that you noticed that! Gosh you are observant! I dont remember reading in the book what hand Voldmort kept his wand, but I might have overlooked that too. That is interesting though.

Nothing in the books is said about him being left handed and I don't know wether Ralph is a lefty or not . . . still an interesting observation though. People who are left handed and said to be more artistic but who knows . . .
Anyway, the word sinister was originally used to mean you were lift handed . . . or something like that . . . I can't remember exactly . . . so maybe it has something to do with that :P

OY! leave us lefties alone....I say, if hook can pull it off....and if I can pull it off. then why not our own mental voldemort....*goes off to try and remember some mentioning of him being left handed in the books*

Im not picking on you . . . im half lefthanded myself. It's just a fact . . . the left side was now as the sinister side.

I noticed the Voldemort was left handed in the movie and yes left handed people have a bad rep. but did you know that way back if a person was left handed they where considered Royalty I don't know way unless people thought that Royality where bad people. Go fig. anyway I am right handed but can use my left if I want to. My mom and dad mad me right handed I think for they didn't like people that used the left to them it was bad.
The reason I notice the Voldemort was left handed is that if I like a movie or book I read it a lot to see and pick up everything I can, so it is not that I have a good eye for details it is because I miss things the first time so I look again and again until I know what all happened in the background and as much as I can about the characters in things I like.
Sardine you do pay attention to little details I wish I could pick up on things that quick. Great job and thanks for sharing.

In more technical contexts, 'sinistral' may be used in place of 'left-handed' and 'sinistrality' in place of 'left-handedness'. Both of these technical terms derive from sinister, a Latin word meaning 'left'
There we go . . . knew it had something to do with the word sinister. Anyway I couldn't find anything out about left-handedness being conidered a sign of royalty but that's definitely interesting as well. :D

I too noticed that actually. Although I think it was just the actor because I read the book again last night and didn't find anything about what handed he is.

Can any one be bothered finding out if Ralph is left handed or not . . . cause I can't be stuffed and my computer is crawling along pretty slowly tonight anyway.

I'm one of those wacko's that thinks Voldemort is really a nice guy that got taken over by evil spirits or something, or that he is misunderstood and never got hugged as a child.
Yes, Ralph is a leftie. Don't you just love google.
