One thing i've been wondering is about whether or not the Centaurs
will get involved. All magical creatures need to unite in order to defy
Voldemort. ok, they're usually detatched from wizards keep
themselves to themselves and the stars but they are all worried about
what's beeen predicted in the stars and the start of the second war and
with Firenze having joined the wizard world, Grawp thrashing the forest
and mostly Umbridge entering the forest and treating them like lower
beings obviously really made them angry. They've refused to enter the
ministry so far but could Umbridge have risen them. Maybe they'll play
a role in honour of their pride and try get equal rights for 'half breeds'.

i dunno ..... never thought much about the centaurs joining in, too. they seem too arrogant and would see joining wizards as serving wizards. but they have been mentioned a lot in the serie, it wouldn't make sense to leave them out of the war. they're pretty save in the forest tho, and i'm not sure they care who wins as long as they get left alone as always. i'ld like to see the centaurs wise up and help out the good side! firenze's got it right, thre's nothing wrong with helping someone, that doesn't make you a servant.

I'm rather torn - when looking at the character of the centuars, they are too proud and arrogant to help anybody out. But, they also follow the stars and talked about the coming of the second war. So they certainly know whats going on. Perhaps if they are the ones to see trouble coming, that will make them more likely to join the fight?

ya know, i was thinking. it could actually be possible that firenze convinces the others, or at least some of the others that it is neccessary for them to help out, that they can't just stand by and watch. i know they seemed really upset with firenze, but it's possible that they've calmed down enough to hear him out :unsure:

any thoughts on that?

I think the centars might help the humans, if not, firenze probably will. I hope they do, if the stars say that they should help the humans, then they will, but otherwise probably not.

yeah people forget the factor of individual identity and thought. Each centaur has the right of free will and wasnt it just (majorian or bane - cant remember) that got really hacked off by firenze, ok the others followed suit cos their the leader of the group it doesnt mean they cant decide otherwise. we saw that even with the giants and centaurs are smarter than giants

I hope they do get involved, the more against Voldermort..... the better :D

I think they will get involved, however will not take sides. u kno, kinda have their own little group. They don't like humans at all, so they'll prolly see this as a chance to get rid of them... anybody with me on this?

i dunno. that seems a bit harsh. they've always said that they don't mind humans if they keep to themselves. and it sure would be a lot of poeple to get rid of! i kinda don't see that happening.....unless the deatheaters start messing with them. they might still not officialy be on DD's side and them but still be fighting the bad side or those that mess with them

they could be neutral in favour of the good guys if you get me- kinda like it can be argued that ireland was neutral in favour of the allies during ww2.
