Just wondering if anyone has heard much on this movie? I find, though I'm not a real horror movie fan, that I am fond of movies featuring "Hannibal the Canibal". Not for the horror value, rather for Hannibal himslef. He's such a smooth operating, genius, of a pshycopath.

But, I don't have much information on this prequal film. Anyone know anything, or have any commentary on it? The adverts are out on TV now.

i am so confused now, i thought red dragon was a prequel as well. is hannibal rising before that as well?

Ho Huh Wah? All the other movies are based on the books so . . . WTF are they doing? I'm not sure if there is another book before Red Dragon . . . I always thought it was the first one.

Oh well if it's set with him as a College student then that means Hopkins isn't going to be Hannibal and in other words it's will most likely be a dud. He was perfect as Hannibal.

Yeah, I have that fear, that this film could have the potential to really kill itself with minimum effort. And Hopkins really did do the best...

But, but... I can't help but wonder? What if this actor, by some mirical, pulls off a good acting job, and makes for a Believable Hannibal Lector, even in teenage form? You know, what if they manage a good plot?

It's terribly unlikely for both of those to fall into place, but I can certainly hope, right?

Hope . . . pray . . . sell your soul to the devil . . . whatever else you might turn to, I doubt it will work. Though you never know you might get lucky.
