Headmaster's Daughter


Tuesday night 1:00 am

It was a stormy night which wasn't unusual in the month of January. The wind was howling loudly, and thunder would rumble the castle now and again. Lightening would strike, lighting up the sky so one could see the snow that was falling heavily. Dream had borrowed Remy's invisibilty cloak and had snuck through the castle silently. She was barefoot just to make sure that no one could hear her. She stopped at the entrance to the Headmaster's Chamber. She whispered the password and climbed the stairs. Once at the top, she stopped outside the door. She bit her lip nervously at what she was about to do. Dream didn't need an excuse to come to these quarters, and she certainly didn't need to sneak in, however for the task ahead of her, she did. She knew her Dad would never help her with this. She took a deep breath and slowly opened the door. She slipped into the room, and shut the door again carefully, cringing as the door handle gave a tiny squeak just before she let go. She quickly stepped away from the door and looked around. Not seeing Rogue anywhere, and seeing that all the pictures on the wall were asleep, she made her way carefully over to Rogue's desk.

"BOO!" Shonk shrieked as she leant forward and out of the shadows. She was sitting in the Headmasters chair and looking quite pleased to have found that it was only the Headmasters daughter and not the Headmaster himself to have come creeping into the room at such a late hour.

Sitting back into the shadows Shonk surveyed Dream and wondered slightly what the girl was doing creeping into her own father's office. She was obviously up to something she shouldn't be and Shonk was determend to find out what exactly it was.

Dream had justen off the invisibilty cloak when someone yelled "BOO!" at her. She dropped the cloak and spun around, stunned to see Shonk there. Then she wondered why she was even surprised. "What do you think you're doing in here Shonkie? Get out before my dad catches you!" she said, trying to act like an innocently concerned friend.

Shonk snorted. "Don't act like your not sneaking in Dream. Why else would you have Remy's invisibilty cloak," she pointed out with a large grin.

Swivelling on the Headmasters chair Shonk contiinued to eye dream with a slight smirk on her lips, wondering what the girl would do next.

Leona had been hiding underneath the headmasters desk when she had heard voices coming from the other side. Leona had broke in apparently five minutes before Dream had. Good thing she covered her tracks. She decided to lay low to see what would happen next.

Dream rolled her eyes. She decided to pretend that Shonkie wasn't there. She really didn't have time to have a discussion. She knew that Rogue could be back at any moment, and she had to find it. She went through all of his drawers and came up empty handed. She then pulled a table away from the wall, and trying to keep Shonkie from seeing, revealed Rogue's safe. She quickly opened it, knowing the code and pulled out a small box.

Leona saw Dream, but apparently Dream didn't see her. That happened a lot when Leo wanted to hide come to think about it. Leo saw Dream enter a code then logged into her mind, she may need it someday. She silently put an impervious spell on herself and watched as she pulled out a small box.

Dream put the box on the desk and just as she was about to open it she caught sight of Leo. "WHAT THE HELL ARE YOU TWO DOING IN MY DAD'S OFFICE?" she yelled, waking up all of the figures in the portraits on the wall. She couldn't believe this. Of all people to have broken into the Headmaster's office, Little Miss Goody Two Shoes was there. Shokie, Dream could understand, but not Leo. Dream wasn't comfortable with this at all, and she didn't want Leo knowing anything about what she was doing. She took a small container out of the box, and put the box back in safe, changing the code, like they always did. Then she turned back to Leo and Shonkie and glared at them, while tapping her foot, waiting for an answer.

Leo stood up and crossed her arms and stared at her coldly, returning Dream's look. "Never mind, what I'm doing here," she said reading Dream like a book. Why do YOU need to break in. I'm sure a simple...Oh, daddy dearest would have sufficed," she said batting her eyelashes.

Dream looked at Leo. "First all little girl, I'm a Prefect, and not only that, this is my dad's office. I have every right in the world to be in here. Now you can say what you're doing here or I'll tell him. I also think that you deserve a detention. So either you come clean, or I'm giving you detention for 2 weeks!" she said angrily. The portraits were all awake and agreeing with Dream, and screaming obscenities at Leo and Shonk.

"Hmmm, apparently a personality only portraits can love," she said softly enough. "And I'm here because this is now was...the only place in the world i could go to, to get some peace and quiet...every where I go I'm being stalked by everyone and everything else, but now it seems I'll have to find another vacationing spot." she said eying the room pretending to miss it. It was the truth though, this was the only place she was able to find peace and quiet.

ream glared at Leo in disbelief. "You're not seriously telling me that my father's private chambers, where his bedroom is, is the only quiet place that you have to sneak off to?!?!?!?! Oh I can't wait for him to hear that!" she said snidely, tucking the container into her robe pocket slyly.

"Yeah well the only difference between truth and fiction, is that fiction has to be credible," was all she said to that, "you your turn, what are you doing here?" She asked knowing that this will be good.

Dream arched an eyebrow at Leo. "Who said I owed you any kind of explanation?" she said. "I have every right to be here, and you don't. That's the difference here. Now leave already!" she demanded. Dream wasn't done in the room, but she was starting to resign herself to the fact that she would be leaving pretty much empty handed if this continued much longer.

Shonk rolled her eyes at the squabaling pair. She had been sitting there the whole time just doodling all over the Headmasters desk. It was looking quite pretty now she thought affectionatly as she looked down at a rather detailed drawing of Dream and Leona's faces, which were covered in pimples and boils and other types of pockmarks.

Pealing her eyes away from her prized artwork Shonk looked up at Dream and said with a sigh, "Shall I repeat myself? You have just about as much right as me and Leona to be in these rooms. You snook in here just like we did and I don't care if you're Professor Collin's daughter, he shouldn't favour you. That would make him a bad Professor -" Shonk paused for a second "- What am I saying? He isn't a good Professor and does favour you."

A very ugly look had now settled itself on Shonk'[s face as she looked up at Dream.

Remy walked up to the headmaster's office he had some very important stuff to talk about and felt like he was the only one he could come to right now. Unfortunately Remy had forgotten the secret password into his private chambers so he calmly knocked on the door. "Professor Rogue, it's Remy, if your there please open up i need to talk to you" he said out loud in a strong voice.

Shonks eyes darted over to the office doors from which behind she could have sworn she heard a voice. Whispering to Leona she asked, "Who is that do you think?"

Not particullary worried, considering she had been caught in the office multiple time, but not particullary wanting to end the fun yet Shonk squatted down behind the desk just incase whoever it was decided to enter and see if the Headmaster was in or not.

Leona recognized the voice, "it's Remy," she said calmly, then looked at Dream, "you want I should let him in?" She asked her then leaned against the desk waiting for Dream's reply. Besides, it's not like Remy could break in of his own accord.

Emily had finally reached the window of the headmasters office she was sitting on her broom trying to force open the window, she finally did it! she jumped in side and fell head first into the bin under the window, Emily sat up picking rubish out of her hair, "Yes! i made...i" Emily paused as she looked around the room was packed full of students "what the fu..flip are you all doing in here!?" Emily said looking a little shocked.

Remy was still standing by the door when he heard a voice. "Professor is that you!!" he shouted loudly. He got quiet as he noticed the voice was feminine then smirked as he heard more and more girls voices "wow the professor seemed to be having a little party of his own" he thought to himself. "i best make my way away from this place before i ruin his vibe" he said softly to himself as he slowly turned around.

Dream grinned in relief as she saw Emily and heard Remy. Finally she had some back up. She flicked her wand at the door, letting Remy in. Looking down at the Headmaster's desk and seeing drawings of what she assumed was supposed to be her with boils on her face, she placed a well aimed kick at Shonkie before walking away from behind Rogue's desk, and over to Emily. "You know Shonkie... You're not really a very good artist." she said. As she reached Emily she gave her a look, saying "Cover me." and she said "Hey Emmers! I realized forgot to give you the password when you left, in order to meet me here, but wow, what an entrance!" she said jokingly.

Remy heard a noise and turned around in time to see the door open. He stuck his head in and looked around. He was suprised to see everyone but kinda dissapointed in a way he was so looking forward to blackmailing the professor. He shrugged his shoulders and walked in the room.

Shonk glared over at Dream but resisted comment and instead proceeded to animate her drawing on the desk. However due to the entrance of Remy Shonk found herself drawn away from her task. "Great more people," she spat moodily as she frowned up at Remy. She had planned to ransack the office but she could hardly do it with so many witnesses.

Remy looked at all the girls and grinned, "is everyone waiting for the professor as well?" he asked "if so is there a line or something, or how is this being done?" he questioned the girls once more. He turned to dream and whispered "i thought this place was supposed to be password protected, i guess your dad needs to practice making it a bit harder next time" he smirked.

Dream glared in response to Remy's comment. "Two of the girls in here, shouldnt be and have broken in!" she said with a nasty bite to her voice, as she directed the brunt of her glare at Shonk and Leo. Then she turned back to Remy. "What are you doing here anyways?" she asked curiously.

Remy smiled at dream and said, "That is exactly my point, if it was a bit harder to break in then they wouldn't have gotten in. and i wanted to talk to your father i have something i need to ask him and yea, so do you have any idea where he might be? he asked dream.

Dream shook her head, while continuing to stare at Remy curiously. She wondered what he had to talk to her dad about, that he didn't want to tell her. "I was hoping he'd be gone all night. Now I can't wait for him to come back!" she said. She looked at Remy meaningfully for a moment and reached out to him and gave him a big hug and kiss, slipping something in his inner robe pocket. As she pulled away, she brushed her lips across his ear, whispering "Ssshhhh....."

Remy was pleasantly suprised by dream's actions but he was confused by what she was shushing him for. "oh she don't want me to mention her father anymore in front of everyone" he thought to himself. He looked at dream and winked, "well when you see him will you tell him i need to talk to him" he said as he began to turn to leave the headmasters room

Dream watched Remy turn away and she said "Oh you're leaving? You know what? My plans for the evening are shot anyways. I'll go with you." she said. She walked over to Remy and looked at the others in the room. "As soon as I'm downstairs, I'll be setting off the alarm. That will bring the Headmaster up here right away. I suggest you all leave." she said.

Remy heard dream's comment to the girls and he grinned. He waited til dream was by his side before he leaned in close and whispered "umm is your father really coming cuz i do need to talk to him, or was that just to scare the girls out of his chambers? he asked dream.

Dream glared at Remy, and grabbed onto his arm, dragging him along with her. She kept walking until they were out of the castle and on their way to the tent. "I don't know where he is, but if those girls wreck the room, then it's all the better for me, cause then I won't be suspected for anything missing. Can I have what I put in your pocket now please, babe?" she asked.

"oh" was all remy said as he heard dream's explanation. He knew something was up but he was slow sometimes and not quick to grasp things. He heard her mention putting something in his robe pocket and he smiled at her. "im sorry dreamy but i think you made a mistake i dont have anything in my robe pocket and i think if you had put something in there i would have noticed" he said laughing.

Dream grinned wickedly at him. "Oh I promise I did. In fact... do you remember this?" she asked as she put her arms around his neck and gave him a big hug, and a quick kiss. At the same time, she reached into his inner pocket, and pulled out what she had placed inside it to begin with. She pulled back a little and grinned at him. "And here it is!" she said impishly.

Remy grinned at dreamy as he felt her kiss him. "Yea i knew i noticed you putting it on me earlier, i just hoped i could get another kiss" he said as he smiled at her. "So since you used me, i hope you can tell me just what it is that i smuggled out of your dad's office? he said as he tried to look at the item it dream's hands

Dream giggled and rolled her eyes at Remy. "All you had to do was ask!" she said. Then she carefully unrolled the wrapping from the items in her hand. It was a vial of potion, and some kind of jewel, and a piece of old leather, that had some words written on it. She handed all of the items to Remy. "Look... You do of course realise what this is right?" she said to him in a soft whisper.

knowing he was going to regret it he shook his head "for all i know were going to bring someone back from the dead or try" he said laughing weakly as he hoped that was not what she had planned but when it came to the collinses and potions those guys went crazy sometimes.

Stevie Walked into the room and saw Dream and Remy, "Hello Dream, Hello Remy what are you guys up to?" She walks over to them to see what was going on.

Remy turned ot look at the person who had walked in. "Hi, i don't think we've met" remy said as he walked over to Stevie and extended out his hand in friendship. He looked over to dream to see what her reaction to having a new person burst out of nowhere.

Dream quickly stashed the vial before Stevie could see her. She and Remy had been walking out of the room, and had almost bumped into Stevie. Dream sent a quick look to Remy, letting him know not to say anything about what was going on. "Uhmm.. hi there Stevie!" she said in a cheerful tone. "How are you? We havent seen you around in awhile. It's awesome to see you back!"

Stevie looked at Dreamy and said, " Yeah I had a horrible accident with stairs, glue, a rollor skate, peezes, and me falling. I'd rather not explain it though." She then looked at Remy, and shook his hand, " Well you know why we haven't met before, so I'll introduce myself, I'm Stevie Brooks, and I'm Gryffindor." She smiled at him and asked him, "What are you two doing?" She then looked back and forth between the two people.
