It had been a while since Fayth had managed to get herself out of her room, she had recieved some horrible news. Her parents were killed but the reason on how they died remained a mystery. She had spent hours locked inside her dorm room. She didn't know her parents to well, but she was still mourning their loss. She was wearing a long sleeve black sweater as she walked in the snow. Trying not to think about the tradigie that had struck her so suddenly in her life. Tears filled her eyes before she shook her head. Yelling at herself," Come on! Get over it already. They're gone and there isn't anything that can bring them back." She couldn't shake the only thought of her parents she had left. Sitting down on a fallen tree banch she sighed.

Remy was walking along the snow with no destination in mind. He just wanted to get out of the castle and walk along the snow. He heard someone scream and followed the noise. He came up to a sad looking fayth and he asked her if she was ok as he sat down next to her. He gently wiped one of her tears with his handkerchief as he waited for her to talk to him

She felt someones persense besides her and felt the brush of the cloth against her face. Those eyes turned looking towards his face tears continued to swell in her eyes. Trying her best to gather her wits.

" I was never closed to them..my parents. They were always to busy with work to really notice me unless it was Christmas, Thanksgiving..or some sort of rare special occasion."

As she spoke silent tears rolled down her cheeks dropping to the snow below her feet. Her figure shaking not because of the cold but because of her sadness. Her hands besides her knees.

" I...just got word. They died..both of them..but I wasn't given any details. Just..some stupid letter saying , "We regret to inform you..your parents have passed on." or some type of crap."

She raised one hand up swipping the tears on her right cheek away with a simple movement of her wrist.

" Look at me..I'm such a mess..I couldn't even bring myself to come down from my room for days on end.."

Remy face got a bit sadder as he heard the news, it seemed lately everyone was dealing with the loss of a parent around the school. He had missed fayth terribly and now knew why she had stayed in her dorm room for so long. He sat next to her and said "im so sorry hon" in a soft voice. He wasn't very good at moments like this so he gave her a big hug.

Feeling his arms around her suddenly caught her a bit off guard. But her arms reached up and wrapped around his neck. Holding herself against his arms as she trembled her face leaning into his shoulder as she tried to control her crying. Finding comfort in the friends of possibly her best friend here.

Remy continued to hold fayth in his arms as she gently cried. He leaned in a bit closer to her and whispered in her ear, "its going to be ok" he softly said to her. He felt so comfortable with her in his arms but he wasn't sure what she wanted to do so he gently broke off his embrace and looked at fayth. He did not know waht to say so he just held her hand in his and stayed quiet.

She felt his arms break from her but the warmth from his hands on hers. Her own holding onto them as more soft sniffles came from her. Shaking her head softly back and forth before raising her thumb. Brushing the tears from her face again as she took in a deep breath.

" I keep telling myself that I should be used to this..we never saw much of each other. I was practically brought up by my butler and the rest of the help there while my parents were to busy with work, or companys. I don't know why Im so upset like this.."

"Because no matter what hon those people were still your parents, and you will always have a connection to them." he said softly. He looked at her eyes now red with all the crying and he reached into his other hand and wiped her tears away with his handkerchief once again.

Feeling the brush of the fabric against her face turning those eyes to him and shaking her head a few times. Trying to calm herself except her head filled with images of the day she spent with her family.

" Im so sorry Remy..I don't mean to sound like a basket case. I must look ridiculous like this and I shouldn't bother you with my problems."

"You don't sound like a basket case to me fayth" remy said his voice barely above that of a whisper. I honestly don't think this is ridiculous at all and i understand what your going through as for bothering me with your problems. Whoever said spending quality time with you was any bother, i rather enjoy spending time with you in case you haven't noticed. Remy said as he finished talking.

Hearing everything he said she blushed raising her hand for a moment to cover her face for a few seconds. Then finally allowing her hand to drop to her lap. The hand with his squeezing softly. Talking to Remy was making her feel better.

Remy looked at fayth and smiled, "I'm glad you feel that way fayth but don't forget that you have lots of freinds in hogwarts other than me" he said while he held her hand. "They might be a bit shy but the people here are a great bunch and i know they would love to help in any way they can" he finished.
