HEY EVERYONE!
The other day i saw the two other tentative titles registered alongwith Deathly Hallows. these two are HEART OF REVENCLAW and DEADLY VEIL...

Now,
the first one means nothing to me but the second one- DEADLY VEIL- has plenty of significance!

I'm sure we all remember how Sirius died- at the Ministry , he fell in the VEIL and he was dead!
Jo has said in some interview that we ARE going to see the veil again.

So here's the theory- VOLDEMORT MAY DIE BY FALLING THROUGH THE VEIL!

Come to think of it, it's quite feasable and a very sure way of finishing him off.
We know for a fact that when people fall through there's no way they'll come back.

Where did you see that? The veil actually doesn't get me as much as the Ravenclaw title. What's the significance to the Ravens? And what about the title that was shorter by 2 consesants and a vowel? Were there 3 other possible titles then? Soooo confused! :P

I heard the rumor about the Heart of Ravenclaw and the Deadly Veil titles, too. I thought maybe the Heart of Ravenclaw might be a horcrux. We're not sure what all the horcruxes are yet.

I don't know about that theory. I would be kinda disapointed if that was how Voldemort met his end. He is supposed to be one of the greatest wizards of all time and he just falls through a veil? I am hoping for a big battle scene between him and Harry and Harry finishing him off with some spell that he had up his sleeve as a secret weapon or something. I don't know it just seems to me that Voldemort dying by just falling through the veil would not be a good ending to a story, because we still have alot of questions about the veil anyways.

I think it's a possibility . . . considering that Harry can't exactly kill him using his wand and we know there was meant to be a reason why Sirius died so maybe the viel has something to do with that.

I'm more interested in the other title though. The Heart of Ravenclaw obviously has something to do with the horocruxs. Hope it's not a real heart of some kind as that would be rather disturbing but then again this is Voldie we are talking about so yeah . . . I'm more thinking it's some kind of hierloom though. :D

No.. JK Rowling wants no more sequels to Harry Potter unless she is the one writing them. If Voldemort had supposedly died by falling into the veil, it would leave too much question to whether he survived or not. He won't fall into the veil unless they killed him first than decided to drop him in there.

The Heart of Ravenclaw. Take the first letter of each word in the title and what do we get? HORcrux. Don't know what the crux will be it's worth a shot. And I also believe that the heart of ravenclaw might be a horcrux or maybe the heart of ravenclaw will be a weapon meant to fight Slytherin's heir. The pride of Gryffindor was a weapon. Why can't the heart of Ravenclaw? Though I think it should be the heart of Hufflepuff since she was the accepting one...

Ugh Talon those titles were just said to be fakes/diversion tactics so I'm guessing they aren't relevent to the book in anyway. Oh well it was fun speculating. :)
