k, there it is :) it's gonna be harry's shortest stay yet and it's because of something good (cause Jo's happy :D ). i don't have very many ideas on this either, but there's one i actually really like!! maybe there'll be a weasley wedding? maybe bill and fleur are getting married?

any thoughts? different ideas? i'ld LOVE to hear them!

I don't know what it might be.. but I think tghat its about time something GOOD happens to Harry, I mean like everything bad happened to him in the 5th book... it was really depressing actually!

i like this theory anna! it is actually quite possible considering he was getting private occlumency lessons from snape and DD did say he regretted not teaching him himself. but maybe it has got somthin to do with the weasleys - though i think a wedding is unlikely

i also think it's very possible and not far fetched at all. the thing is, i can't imagine harry staying with DD. and DD will be way too busy. but you know who would be a great person to teach him some more stuff? how about our dear Lupin? i think that would make harry happy :).

i'm not sure about the weasleys. they are the poeple he is closest to and they've been inviting him over a lot, but they don't seem to be the right poeple to teach him advanced defensive spells and such - and i have to say i'm liking this idea a lot! they are both in the order tho, so they would be able to teach him, but they wouldn't be the best choice imo.

A wedding would defaintly qualify as a pleasant reason, I agree. But whose? I have no idea on that one!

But who knows? Maybe Harry is going to be made into Head Boy or something and he needs to get to school early so that they can teach him or something? I dunno. Do you think that he'll go to Hogwarts early, or somewhere else?

I'm putting my money on somewhere else. I really like the Lupin idea as well. The two of them get along great, plus - like Bianca said he could definately teach Harry a thing or two!

Yeah, Lupin seems good. I don't think it's very likely that he'll go to hogwarts. But then again, isn't he suppose to be the safest there? Maybe he's suppose to go stay with Hagrid. Wasn't there a rumor that said: "someone who didn't know magic well before will learn more" or something. Couldn't that be Hagrid? If he learns proper magic then he'll be good protection! He's fiesty, big, strong AND magical.

and going to see lupin would also be good. But I don't think he will go back to hogwarts early.

as for the marriage, that would be cool. But who would get married? i guess there are lots of things that could be happy.....I just want to read the book! lol

Oh another version that came to me as i was cleaning yesterday: The Joke Shop. I mean Fred and George never had a proper opening day did they?
So they could decide to have a formal opening and invite Harry to it. I know that's unlikely but after all, it's plausible!

i love the joke shop idea too! now i can't decide between the two (joke shop and going somewhere to learn DADA). maybe first he goes to the grand opening for the joke shop and then he goes to the weasleys' (or lupin's :D) to learn DADA :D

this is going to be so great when we finally get to read the book and see if any of us got it right! 116 days to go!!!!

Bill and Fleur getting married? I don't think it very likely. The Joke Shop official opening? I dunno about that one either. Going to Lupin's to learn DADA, well that idea kinda appeals to me. . . that would be cool, and Lupin is a real neat guy!!

i know im late on this one here. but flounder that is not possible. in the fourth book he got invited to the world cup. and they also said that it only happened every four years. i think Jo planned this so that she wouldnt have to think up something to happen again at the it. and it would be repitive.

maybe its because *HOPEFULLY* sirius *HOPEFULLY* gets to come back. then he leaves to go see his fave uncle.

Unfortunately, I have to agree with whiteflame. It doesn't look very promising that Sirius is gonna come back. But that doesn't mean we can't hope!! And the Quidditch World Cup is right too; it would be repetitive. I think he's either gonna get tutored by a teacher (like McGonagall to become an Auror, or Snape for Occlumency), which he could do at Grimmauld Place, or he's going to stay at the Weasley's again.

thats true coldfire. i think we shouldnt give up hope. i mean, there was no mention of the people saying that they studied and they were completely dead. and what i was thinking, why didnt harry just roll the other mirror into the veil? i mean, people and clothes and things go in there, so why cant a mirror just be rolled in there.

i dont think hed go see a teacher tho. maybe he would sneak away, and live with fred and george and help them with the shop. or something like that

Yeah, I'm not really going for the teacher thing, but I thought I'd suggest it anyways. He should totally go and live with Fred and George. I mean, he could help them, and why not? He gave them the money to start it in the first place, after all. But Harry sneaking over to Hermione's and marrying her?? lol, I don't think that's gonna be happening too soon! :D :lol:

Thats what i was thinking when i read that one!! Hagrid!! The thing is, if harry was living with lupin, well lupins not very wealthy, and i don't think he'd accept any of harry's money, but it would be cool if he got to live with lupin. The wedding thing, would be interesting, but not likely, man there are alot of good suggestions in here!! i should have posted earlier.
