Title: Now, this is really weird...
Description: no spoilers

Ok, so i decided to read a bit of OotP, to you know, refresh my memory.. then i got tired of OotP (*gasp*) and started reading HBP... bit of a shock for me...
Now, HBP is shorter than OotP by over 100 pages..right? WRONG! It's even shorter than however many pages it is (HBP that is). Why do I say this?
Simple reason: the writing in HBP is bigger than in OotP and the spacing is larger... So, it's like changing your computer's screen resolution from 1024x768 pixels to 800x600 pixels.. try that and see the difference.. That's what happened when i put down OotP and opened HBP..

wow i never noticed that. I wonder how long it would have been with the other kind of writing style?

That's odd. I wonder if that was made by mistake or on purpose?

I rate that if the writing size and spacing in HBP was the same as that of OotP, it would be a few pages longer.. probably 50 pages at most.
Only JK and her publishers will know if it was on purpose or not.
Thanks for the prizes :P

It makes sense...... remember....... i think she quoted in some interview that she had to cut a lot from ootp.....and it was still longer....... so it is a pretty good idea to fiddle with the font size.....
and in HBP..... i think it was normal.....also she herself said it that 6 and 7 are like just one book....... so they had to make it look bigger isnt it.
