Hey guys,

I'm back! And I had a blast at the Annual Church Conference. My mind is still reeling over the events that happen. Anytime you stay overtnight like I did, (Friday-Sunday) things are bound to happen. It was so much fun, I went with the other youth from my church (there were 10 of us in total) and the way it works is that our Area YPD (my church and 2 other churches, all of us representing the Northwest area) traveled on this huge character bus to Chicago where the conference was taking place. It was an 8-hour trip so there was tons of stuff that happened. Drama, I should say. Now, I know you all don't know these people, but follow along, I thin it's quit interesting.

So one of the first things that I was interested in was with two of my friends, Alisha (17) and Shirdon (16). Now, Alisha has a boyfriend, he doesn't go to our church but I've seen him quit a lot when he comes to visit occassionly. The interesting thing is that, Alisha is always flirting with Shirdon, who does come to our church. Some Sunday's all of us youth are talking and Shirdon will get ready to go and he'll shake all of us guy's hands and say "See ya" or something and with Kelly and Nia, the other two girls in our youth, he'll do the same. But when he gets to Alisha, those two will hug each other. Huh? Why the difference? It's obvious to everyone that something is defaintly going on between Alisha and Shirdon, despite the fact that she has a boyfriend.

So I was immediatly curious as to what would happen on this trip between those two. We're on the bus for 8 hours, we're staying at a hotel, oh yes, my curiousity was boiling over. So yesterday, on our way back home, Ian, another boy from our church was sitting next to Shirdon on the bus ride home. He's up and around so Alisha takes a seat next to Shirdon. Me and the others were instantly looking to see what was going to happen. Alisha sat there the entire time, and then next thing I know, Shirdon has his hand around Alisha. Whhhat?

And you know me guys! I was all up in the mix. Of course, I was professional about it and wasn't obvious that I was looking and such. (Me Nia and Kelly sat in the very back with the 3-way seats. Alisha and Shirdon were right in front of us, so I had front row seats to everything those two were doing.)

So Shirdon has his hand around Alisha and she cuddles with him. Keep in mind that she has a boyfriend. Does Alisha tell him that she's uncomfortable? No. Does Alisha get up and move? No. What does she do? She embraces it, cuddling up next to him. Ian comes back and sits on the outside of the seat so that all 3 of them are sitting there with Alisha in the middle and Shirdon on the very end, and every now and then she would move to talk to the person in front of her or something, but she would always sit back and his hand would always wrap around her. Next thing I know, his hand is moving lower and so that now his hand is on her leg! C'mon now! I was rolling, so much, that very cleverly, Kelly took a picture of it with her camera phone. I'm trying to get her to send it to my phone so that I can upload it and show you guys.

But yes, this was only part of the Alisha/Shirdon romance. IMO, she really needs to stop. Stringing two guys along at the same time? Er. There's a name for people like that. :lol:

Sounds fun Reggie!! With all the Drama and all! I bet it was intresting to watch! Im glad you had a great time :D would be intresting to see that pic too :P

8 Hours on a bus,eh? I dont think id survive; id get so bored and would start pacing up and down, then start talking to myself.

Wow Reggie! When you said things were interesting, they really were!!! I felt like I was reading a fan fic, and I want an update! :P Sounds like you had a blast.

Drama happens in all church youth no matter wherey ou are... I know someone who was not eveni n her teens yet when this we will say slightly older ok so he was older than her by a few years... I mean hello he was 20. This happened years ago but she still talks about him like she and him were dating.. She told me she had a huge crush on him.. of course all the kids knew this b ut yea drama goes on alot. .I mean this same trip we were talking with a few other girls about waterfalls then the conversation turned and all someone heard was that water makes them stop and she thought water made waterfalls stop. I also know a few people who had boyfriends but where hanging out cuddling u p to guys in our youth group.... Oh and reg the youth you went with all ten of you that is more than the people that ever went to my youth group.... Anyway A word of adivice if you want to know if they actually have a thing going play smile if you love me.... if they smile when they try getting each other or if they just go after each other then you know theres more than just close friends... I also happen to know that really close friends of opposite genders will hold hands and cuddle and stuff like you described. I know from personal experince. LEt them also know that if they are that close then if they do decide to actually date each other then they need to make a pact before they do that their rfriendship will not be ruined if it doesnt work out. again i give that advice from personal experince. Anyways Im glad you had fun.

Emily, I'm going to choir rehersal tomorrow and I'm gonna try and get the picture for Kelli (she's the one that took it) but you know me, if I get I'm posting it right here! I really hope this works because I would love for you all to see it, then you can judge for yourself on what I mean.

Heather, I thought the same thing, I mean, 8 hours c'mon now. But there was so much going on, I think you would have done well. I was always up on my feet either looking at what was going on or something else. Even when we got to the hotel, I think the majority of the drama happened on the bus.

Dusty, I wuv you girl. :wub: Thanks for the advice, I'm defaintly going to take it. The thing is that Alisha already has a boyfriend, so if you ask me, she's cheating. <_< For one, I hope she goes for Shirdon anyways, I've seen her boyfriend Julian and to me, he's no good. He's one of those gangsta's wannabes and....no, he just doesn't do it for me. Dusty, it was really interesting to hear what happened at your church youth group as well, thanks for sharing!

Alisha and Shirdon are always flirting with each other. He gave her his pillow to sleep on and Alisha guarded that pillow like it was her life. Wouldn't let anyone even touch it because it was "Shirdon's" I was like . . . .hmm, we all know what's gong on there. But I would think that since she has a boyfriend that she would tell him to lay off, but she didn't! While they were cuddling, she let Shirdon's hand go south (if you know what I mean) and everything. She didn't say anything, just laughed! I was like . . .you cheat!

OMG!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! His hand went south!!!!!! What a hussy! LMAO!!!!!! hahahahahahaha I can just picture the look on your face!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

This story reminds me of my friend Kacie and her 'just best friend' Mark. Before Mark started dating some new chick that I don't know he was absolutely totally in love (or maybe it was lust) with Kacie. It was quite sad actually but we all felt really sorry for him because, although Kacie would be (and still is) all over him she was always dating someone else but whenever she broke up with them Mark upgraded from 'just best friend' to 'just snogging friend' but then of coarse she would go off and find a new b/f. Poor Mark :(

But yeah . . . my friend Kacie is a total *insert mean word here* but I still lub her. ^_^

Hussy is only one of the flavored words that I chose for Alisha. But no Emily, I think her boyfriend "suspects" that something is going on between them, but he has no idea. But he called her while I was sitting next to her on the bus, and he thought that she was sitting next to Shirdon (again, he suspects) and to prove that she was not sitting next to him (at that time) she gave the phone to me and I talked to him. Yep, he defaintly suspects, which he should.

Most of you guys may not know this, but I'm Rogue's brother. And I was on the trip too. And I just thought, for what it's worth, I'd just throw my 2 cents in on what else happened. . . .

Kelli is a girl that's in our youth group and there was this other boy from another church named Antwan that showed an extreme interest in her. Even though I witnessed most of the incidents that happened between them, I didn't realize how many of them there were!

The first thing that happened was when Antwan was in the back of the bus with us on our way to some restaurant to eat. Antwan sat in a seat in front of us and I was sitting next to Kelli. I dunno how it got started, but Antwan started talking baout giving Kelli a "lesson" if she came to his room that nigh.

"I'll teach you all kind of things," Antwan said in a sort of seductive kind of voice. (I was appalled). "It'll be the best lesson of your life!"

I was like . . . huh?

The next day when Kelli gave him some gum, he sort of smiled and said "You didn't come to my room last night."

And Kelli was like, "Well, you didnt' give me your room number."

"I was on the 5th floor," Antwan replied. "Too bad cuz you missed out on some good stuff." Then Kelli smiled and Antwan said "Or maybe you didn come to my room last night. Your roomates missed you for 5 hours because that's how long it would have taken. 5 hours."

My goodness, this was a church trip and these people were just. . . crazy! But I was all up in the business!

OMG!!!!!!!!!! THE DRAMA!!! its very exciting just to read!!!! and this is a different set of people oh my gosh!

AHHHHHHH! Curch people curch! ROFL! Can't belevie them! The whole curch thing just went out the window!

OMG!!!!!!!!! What kind of youth group do you guys go to??? :P That is just crazy talk!!!!! Wow. That's just all I can say... Wow.

Pfft . . . you don't need youth group for thos sort of things to happen.

I was at my friends 16th party and one of my friends (who had a b/f at the time) was flirting with the b'day girls 24 yr old brother who was drunk off his face and was feeling her up and . . . well it was disgusting and caused a hell of a lot of trouble because she when he tried snogging her at the end of the night she freaaked out and claimed innocence saying it was all him when she had been flirting with him all night. She lost a lot of friends because of it all and caused a heck of a lot of trouble.

Geesh!!!! Doesn't anyone have any sense at all anymore??? Or morals for that matter? He was stupid, and she was worse! Alley cats! They're all a bunch of alley cats in heat! :P

Tell me about it. I wonder about the same thing sometimes because it's all just so crazy and sort of scandalous. It's just like, why would you go to a church youth group trying to hook up with people? It's just like "huh?"

Yeah well then we remember it's YOU and REGGIE'S youth group and it starts to make more sense... :P

My curch youth type thing is almost as bad and we only 14! Oh well... half of them are boys so this can be understood.... We lost a teach at the end of last year coz he couldn't take us anymore! Oops...

But that sort of thing happens at my school too, as well as everywhere else. There's this group of girls in my class who are soooo desperate and the one claims to be Goth when she goes to church and stuff...

Heather... Goth is more of a way of looking at the world than a religion alone. Most Goths have a religion backing them somewat. Like catholic or wat eva but lets not get into that... As for the teacher... it was a curch teacher. He couldn't take us soooo.... he left. Wonder how he's doing.... heehee....
