You know, this is going to sound like a peculiar thing to say, but you have a lot more luck with drawing lips than I do! I can get the fce down, and often enough the eyes in order, and a pleasnt little anime noes..and then the lips just sink stright to the depths of the abysss! Lol. Oh well.
I really love the almost Disney like inspiration you take with drawing the faces of your characters. I'm all for cartoon and Anime representations of folks.
The finished effect on your "Dream Team" picture is quite nice; the viewer can tell you had fun drawing it. The results ar lovely.
Not that I have anything against line drawings, but I might suggest should whimsy take you borrowing some of those line draings of yours and CG'ing them in Photo shop or Paintshop (what ever you use)
Sometimes shading can make or break an image, whether the origional drawing was 'perfect' or not.

Shonk Da 'Onk - November 30, 2006 03:14 AM (GMT)
The colour job is a bit shoddy Leona . . . I'm trying out a new program I got so I'm not quite used to it! Hope it's okay though ^_^
sailorleo - November 30, 2006 03:16 AM (GMT)
omg! love it!!!!!!!!!!!! so much better than what i could do!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
sailorleo - December 1, 2006 04:44 AM (GMT)
this is why i should stay away from coloring...:(
D. L. Button - December 1, 2006 05:42 PM (GMT)
Ya know... that's not all bad. I like the mood setting your going for with the greyed out atmosphere. It's the ground that looks akward... but you know an easy way to fix that? Add a blurb of a shadow beneath your fallen lady, just to give her and the ground something of depth and make them both feel as though they belong to the same picture.
Just a suggestion B)
