It's strange; last night I wrote a poem about the fact that young men are being sent to fight wars and they dont have a say or anything.
But it's all true what's happening...stupid in my opinion.

I have to disagree with the whole stupid thing. They go to protect us from threats such as 9/11. I mean yes we are losing men and women over there. But if we didn't stand up to them where would we be now. As for the sending men without asking them. That never happens in the US anymore. Other countries I don't know. But here they sign up. They decide to join the branches of service. They go in knowing that they may die. But thats their decision. So I'm sorry if you disagree with war. But I do not.

good point but do you know if there low on men and that and your of age they will forrce you into the war, it happend like taht in WW1 and WW2

Yeah. Its called the draft. And seeing as how I'm enrolled I don't have to worry about it. But even if I do not end up going to school I'm going into the Marines with 2 of my best friends. So I have no fear of the draft or war. It's never made me scarred.

i dont care really cause im a bloody good shot with the rifle ive got, cause i do alot of hunting with my dad so i know how to shoot anyway plus going in army as sniper i hope

Whatever, I think all this violence is stupid. Sure, defense and safety of a counttry are important, but they could just keep to themselves. Honestly I think that the Middle East is to blame (yeah, I know you're not supposed to blame people but...) just because they have this built-up hostility, and then they go to take it out on people they think are oppressing them... like the US and EU. Whereas really, they just can't take proper care of their own countries.

Well my personal opinion we are over there now because of how we treated them. Back during the middle ages we had the crusades where we went through and attacked them for our faith simply because they didn't have the same faith. Now they are having their own form of crusade against us. But thats just me.

It makes sense... I guess. But really, if everybody went around tring to get back at everybody that's ever done anything to them... we'd be havinga nuclear winter now!

Well yeah. We were trying to stay neutral in WW2. But then Japan attacked Pearl Harbor. And its a good thing in my opinion. Seeing as how if Germany had taken over everything else and then come after us we wouldn't have been able to defend against them. I think its kinda stupid we waited as long as we did to join you guys over there. You were our friends and needed our help and we refused it. Really stupid. But now its the same way. We need you're help in Afganistan and in Iraq and all we get is ridicule.
