Professor Rogue - Headmaster

Professor Rogue navigated the magic rung to a safe landing near the woods where him and the students would be making camp. It had taken him awhile to get special permission from the Ministry to allow him to get a special Carpet license to travel here. All in all, he was glad because this was a new and exciting way to travel and he was sure the students had enjoyed the ride.

As the carpet landed softly, he got off and stood up. Stretching his arms he clapped his hands, getting the students attention.

"All right! First off I'd like to say is welcome to the Rocky Moutains! I hope you all have been breifed about what it is that we are doing here. For the backstory and questions, please visit the Rocky Mt. Questions thread and also take a peak at the Camping Schedule to see the activites and things that we will be doing.

"I'll go over the rules and such when we get to the activites but for one thing, you should never go into the woods alone, ALWAYS let someone know when you do. I've created magical bathrooms in the east if you have to use it. Mind your manners, I don't want anyone getting lost and things like that. Most of you are wearing muggle clothes, seeing as that is more appropiate for an event like this.

"Are you excited? Because I sure am! Right now we're just going to take some time to set up camp and things like that. I belive I had a sign up list posted in the castle for this so I'm going to take attendence and read off your name and if you're here, answer "Here" or "Present."

"Did I leave anyone out?"

Dream stood to the outskirts of the pack of students that were surrounding the Professor. She anxiously shifted her weight frm one foot to the next, impatient to set up her tent and start exploring. She heard the Professor say something about how no one was allowed to go exploring the woods on their own. She gave a little smirk. That was now on the top of her priority list. She couldn't wait to see her surroundings. She spaced out what the Professor was saying until suddenly she heard her name being called. "Dream Grey!" she jumped and looked at the Professor. "Here! I'm here...sorry." she called out.

Emily rushed up to Dream luging about 10 suit cases "DREAM! OMG" I couldn't fit my boots in!" Emily said panicing "can i share your tent or are you saving it for Remy?" Emily said quickly, she then heard her name "yes thats me!!!" Emily said sticking her hand in the air.

Dream watched her bedtfriend run up to her. She looked like she was losing her mind, she was in such a panic. After Emily responded to the Professor, she grabbed onto Emily shoulders gently. "Em...have you ever seen my tent? It's huge! There's room for you, me, Remy, Josh, and whoever else needs somewhere to stay. I figured it would come in handy, so of course you are welcome." she said.

merlin put his things down*here* he shouted and then looked around, what a lovely place it was, merlin unpacked his things and started to put tent up muggle way,*this is fun smiles* merlin then went over and stood by professor rogue.

Sardine

*I roll off the carpet when I hear my name called by Rouge? Not even knowing how I got on a carpet, I look around. I stretch and rub the back of my neck*
"Must've fallen asleep," I shrug. "Hmmm...Reg, it's Snapey...Not 'snappey!" I say and shoot a look at the Headmaster. "Here," I grumble. I look around and not really lus to 'socialize', i promptly sit down in the sand,having taken a few steps away from the carpet.

* Drake loved the flight on the magic carpet. He heard his name called off of the ANWA list. He said to the proffeser. "Sir I stilll am an unregistered ANWA. Is that okay?" * Drake was very near Dream and heard Em ask for a place to stay. Drake had brought his own little tent.

Talon wasn't looking forward to going to the Rocky Mountains. All he knew was that mountains tended to have a lack of bodies of water. After they had all arrived, he was right. The Rocky Mountain's only water source was a river that ran down through the entire mountain chain. He heard everything the professor said since there was nothing else to do and he heard his name being called for the roll call. "Talon, here," he said cooly. He lied down on the hard rocky surface and put his hands under his head for a cushioning effect. He was feeling a small portion of the effects that claustrophobia does to people. It was because there wasn't any water at all and he needed water. He needed to doff his clothing and just jump in and swim. He needed the freedom of a lake or an ocean, the tranquility of calm tides. Not the obnoxious, rough rocky terrain that held barely any water and just kept on going up to try and tempt people to run up and find themselves die of cold. That was isolation. That was lack of freedom. That was lack of space. Talon needed water, would he get what he needed for the three days? All he could do was wait for the rest of the schedule to play out. Maybe he would be lucky and find at least a swimming pool.

Emily new how Talon felt about his water so she snuck up behind him, with a large bottle of water and she tiped it all over him. £Emily ran away laughing hystericly

merlin takes out his wand and waves his wand, and summons abit of music* anyone fancy a little dance while we wait*he says, merlin starts to dance to music hoping that other people will join in with him. as he's dancing he's looking at everyone * come on join in have fun*

Talon was thiking about the lack of water when someone had snuck behind him and just poured water all over him. He was soaking wet and it would have been annoying to others but Talon liked it. His natural senses rised expodentially and he could smell and hear who it was. "Thanks Emily," said Talon. He closed his eyes to enjoy the water that he probably wouldn't get poured on him again. He felt the water dripping down and he didn't shake it off or try to dry off so he could savour every moment of the water he wouldn't get for three days. Would he live on without water on the dry mountain? Only his will would keep him from dying.
Talon knew Emily was laughing, he could hear her. He knew that she didn't pour water on him to help him, he knew she did it for negative reasons. Reasons of pranking. Although he loved what she did, he needed revenge but what would he do? Pour more water on her as well? That would have been a severe waste of water, wouldnt it?

Nicola rushed up to the group 'here! sorry if i'm late, couldn't find my shoes' she said setting her bags down 'so what tent am i staying in?'

Emily grinned at Nic, "you can stay with us if ya like,well if its okay with Dream, it is her tent" Emily grinned

"I wouldn't mind you sleeping in my tent," said Talon. He was thinking of how Nicola would react to this with every other guy and girl. "Nothing romantic don't worry, I just need some water." Talon had heard that there was an elemental that could control water, maybe Talon would become attracted to that person. Maybe not. Whoever that person was, Talon wanted to know. His curiousity led him to start off with Nicola. "My tent will be a little wet though so bring some clothing that you will want to throw out or something. Maybe a spell that will keep you dry, you know? Just anything to keep you resistant from water." Talon gazed at the mountain, examining the size of it. Do we really have to go all the way to the top? And how am I supposed to train my abilities if there isn't any water at all?

Merlin goes up to Emily and raises his want and whispers *Orchideous*
and gives her the flowers as a gift, as he done that he went back over to dancing again, meanwhile the other where doing there own thing around the camp *really wish someone would join in with me* merlin thinks

Dalejin

::Dalejin had off to the side stairing into the forest and wanting to wander off when he heard his voice. He turned around and looked at Professor Rogue.::"Here."::Dalejin turned back to the forest and took an advancing step towards them.::

Emily took the flowers from merlin " thank you!" She muttered before seeing Dalejin, she snuck behind one of the tents and crept behind him and jumping on him making both of them crash down to the floor.

Sardine

*Feeling someone lie down next to me,I open an eye and get the sun in my face*
"Argh!" I say and raise my hand to shield my eye from the sun. I lift my head up a bit and spot Dalejin looking at the forest. As I watch, he takes a step forward. "I wouldnt,Dalejin," I say, hoping he'll hear my. Dropping my head, I turn to the side. "Hello Talon! You ok?" I ask as I take in his face.

"Feeling a little hot, literally. Dry as ever, lacking water, going to the top of one of the coldest mountains? Fine," Talon tried to add in the strongest sarcastic tone he could. "Very fine." He looked over to Heather. She seemed completely find and calm but Talon decided to keep the conversation going with his own questions. "Are you ok?" As lame as it was copying the question, he decided it was the only way to continue the conversation. Hopefully, Heather wouldn't think of him as an idiot for asking with the same question. Hopefully, she would just answer with a 'I am great' instead of revealing her entire day, saying it was awful and horrible.

'Sure i'll stay with ye Em! it'll be great!' nicola said excited about the next few days, then she went over to Talon 'Thanks for offering to share your tent Talon, but i'll be shacking up with Em and the gang, so i'll see you around'

Sardine

"I could be better," I say. "Gets kinda freaky appearing at the most random places without having a clue on how I get there," I mutter.
"Didnt you bring water?" I ask and raise an eyebrow. "Well,no,obviously not,unless you just forgot that you do actually have some water," I add as an afterthought,grinning evilly.

Luna

After the slightly dusty landing she got up, cleaned herself off and upon hearing the Headmaster call her name, enthusiastically said: "Here!"Then walked to a shady spot under a tree to set Up her tent. "This is nice!" she said to herself smiling, took out her tent, which appeared to be only a small circle, waved her wand, and a full blown tent appeared. "And this is even better." She opened the entrance to the tent and smiled at the fluffy bed, small tabler and chairs, and a little shower inside. "Perfest. And I've got water!" she remarked hearing Talon complain.
She heard some music playing and looked around just to see Merlin dancing. "I knew it." she said to herself and laid out in a nice sunny spot to let her legs tan. "This is great... Hopefully I'll be able to find some water."... and she mused about the days ahead.

* Drake watched as Em pouredd water on Talon. He aslo heard that Nic was staying with Dream and Em. Drake took his bag and tent and walked to find a spot to put his tent up.He found a spot under a small tree. Drake took out his tent and layed it on the ground. He then layed on the ground himself.

Nicola made her way to the tent to unpack her stuff, she walked inside and was mesmorized, it was absolutely beautiful! there was plenty of room, she looked around to find Dream to ask her if it was ok if she could stay, but couldn't find her, so she made her way to an empty room and dropped her bag there. After she was done she made her way outside to see who else had arrived and take in her surroundings

Dalejin

::Dalejin felt someone jump on him from behind. Oh great he thought to himself. I guess we're not allowed to wander off yet. As he rolled over he came face to face with Emily.::"Well hello there. Nice to see you down here. You come down here often."::Dalejin said with a grin and rolling over on top of Emily pinning her to the ground.::

Talon needed a place of his own. He had started to think of the lack of water and realize how stupid he was being. He could create the swimming pool he desired. With the use of his wand, Talon found an area that was pretty wide and smooth and cast repeated Diffindo spells on it to create a nice deep hole. For a quite of bit of time after creating the hole, he had been casting the aquamenti spell to fill it up. Now, he had a swimming pool right out in the open where he could just lie in and sleep. Talon jumped in after doffing his shirt and pants -leaving him in only boxers- and dived to the very bottom. It wasn't as deep as he thought but that was the best he could do without risk of anyone getting hurt.

Emily grinned "i try not to" Emily laughed looking up at Dalejin "you seem to be on me" Emily giggled trying to move but not getting any where. Emily layed still for a minute thinking, "what will make you get off me?" Emily asked still giggling.

Watching Emily being immature and jumping on Dalejin, Talon formed a small and quick plan. Since Emily was distracted with hanging onto Dalejin, Talon pointed his wand at her and yelled, "Aguamenti!" Huge jets of water sstarted to leave Talon's wand and spray Emily with cold, freezing water.

Luna watched out of the corner of her eye as Dalejin rolled over on top of Emily and pinned her to the ground. She smiled to herself. They were sweet together. (OoC:you don't mind me saying that do you?)
Then Talon decided to be a wise guy and ruin their moment... but she didn't want to let that happen.
As he sent a jet of water at Emily, Luna waved her hand awkwardly and sent it flying of to the side, landing on the grass.
"Talon" she tried to scold in a loud whisper, "Leave 'em alone!"
She glanced at Emily and Dalejin hoping they hadn't noticed, and quickly turned around, and over on her stomach, to tan her back, smiling to herself.

"I'm here," Brooke groaned loudly. "sorry Im late, i was....distracted," she sighed. Why coldnt we ahve to the beach, no we have to go camping. "I broght all of my stuff," brooke sat down on the edge and beagnt o wtite in a little book.

Dear Diary,

I hate my life! Im on a campng trip in the outdoors. With bugs and flies. Ewwww. And im surronded by idiots and Mia, lucky. She gets to go to a different school where she has 3 guys mooning over her. ANd she is a first year. Two fourth years and a firstie. And she doesnt have to camping. and there are NO NO cute guys.

* While Drake was lying on the ground he diceded to try his new ability out. He thought real hard about the his tent. He thought about putting it up. While Drake was thinking the tent started to put itself together. He sat up and looked at his small and personal tent. It was a muggle tent and was the same size in the inside as it was on the outside. Drake grabbed his one bag of lugage and brought in his newly put up tent. It was a two small roomed, green, and two windowed tent. He loved it. When Drake walked into it he said. "Nice. I'm going to have fun here."

OOC: Great posts everyone! I'm very proud at all the very long post you all are writing. Not only are they interesting, but they give the next poster plenty to work off of. Good job!

Professor Rogue - Chaperon

Rogue was not the least bit surprised that the students had already strated to settle in. Tents were being put up, and everyone was slowly beginning to unpack their things.

He spotted two wizards on top of each other. "Emily, Dalejin, knock it off."

Rogue looked around and to no surprised spotted some complaining. "Talon, you KNOW how you are with water. Why, oh why didn't you think to bring some extra water bottles? Go into the cooler and grab a couple."

He took out his wand and conjured up a whistle. Putting it to the tip of his lips, he blew it.

"RRRRRIIIIIIIINNNNNNNNNGGGGGGGGG!!!"

"Okay, troops, I've taken roll call, most of you are. The others, I imagine will arrive shortly. Okay, this area to my right is where we will sleep. There are 3 tents, girls are on one side, boys on on the other. I will have my tent (to myself!) in the upper middle. So let's continue to unpack and get settled in. If you need anything, just find me. I'll be getting unpacked myself."

* Drake still in his tent heard Rogue blow a whistle. His tent was already on the boys side so there was no need to move it. He started to unpack his one bag of stuff. Drake took out a extra set of clothes, a notebook, a quill, a bottle of ink, a water bottle, a swimsuit, a pair of hiking boots, and a sheet and pillow. He put everything away in the tent. Drake walked out of his tent to see what everybody else was doing.

Mia jumped up into the nearest tree. She nailed in a quick platforn with swings of couse and otched her tent. She nailed i a small porch sat on it not bothering to go into her tent. she opended er book again.

Diary,
Im camping in a tree. Odd. Mia now has a FOURTH bo chasing her. Grrrrrr. There are NO cute guys at the school.

Brooke

Talon was in the water but his vision wasn't blurred so he could see Luna move his jet of water away. Ok, so now I need revenge on Luna and double the revenge on Emily. Great! He had heard the Professor's comment towards him and responded. "Um, Professor, maybe I could just sleep here instead of a tent? Even if there was bad weather, the worst it could do was become windy because the rain would be a favour. And water? I think I got it under control." Talon splashed some water onto the grass and rock to prove it.

Luna

She thought Talon had seen what she did, and immediatly dreaded it.
"I'll just be here... Inside my tent" she quivered and inched toward it before Talon could get his revenge.
"any girls are welcome to join me... you run the risk of getting wet though" she mumbled as she slipped into the tent, her hangings still open to let in fresh air.

Meridae appeared, one of the many...off the carpet. She was slightly shaken up, not having ever been on a flying carpet before. Needless to say, her stomach was a little jumbled, and once or twice she thought her eyes might have rolled around in their sockets, but she was intact, so that was all that mattered.

Gazing around at everyone, she took a couple steps back to gain her footing on hard ground. Meridae had never been camping before. Not even with her parents. Her parents weren't very fond of the idea, but being out in nature..Meridae loved the idea of it.

It was hard to believe that soon they'd be setting out on adventure.

Dalejin

::Dalejin looked up at Rogue grinning.::"Sorry Professor."::Dalejin rolled off of Emily and helped her to her feet. He then wrapped his arms tightly around her and lifted her up on her toes so she couldn't get away. He bent his head down and whispered in her ear.::"Good luck on getting away now."

Remy

Remy had been gotten off of the carpet and wandered off trying to see if there was anything cool to look. Seeing nothing but trees and bushes he walked on until he heard a gurgling sound going towards it he saw a small stream going up to it he saw the clear blue water with shiny rocks at the bottom. It was full of colorful fish and he was moving closer to get a good look at them when he heard the professor calling roll he hurriedly made his way back to camp and said "sorry I'm late but I'm Here" as he made his way over to Dream's tent.

Emily grinned as professor told them to knock it off, but then Dalejin picked her up "ahh get off! Emily giggled "well while im stuck here, you coming in our tent?" Emily asked pointing at the tent Remy andd dream were standing at.
