I absolutly adore James in the Pensive! To me he's like a dream guy right then!

Luna, u adored him in the pensieve? i thought he was a complete jerk. dont get me wrong, i love james. and snape is a jerk also. but he had no right to do what he did. i mean, i know he was a stupid teenager and everything. and i dont hold it against him. but i dont adore him based on what i saw in the pensieve.

Guys you should really read this fanfic about Lily and James. It is really cute!

So how do you guys think Lily and James got together after what the pensive showed us?

oh gosh. that's a toughy. maybe once they joined the order? no, can't be......lupin said they got together in year 7, didn't he? i'm really not sure on that anymore. maybe it had something to do with snape :unsure: . so much of their arguing had to do with him from what we were told, so maybe it also had something to do with them getting together. but i have no idea!

i think james sounds hot in the pensieve but i think i like sirius more in the pensieve becuz hes a bad boy. and i hav a thing 4 bad boys! :blush:

Well, i mostly ment the looks but I'd love to bully Snape. He was simply teaching him a lesson for the future, and I hope Harry will too, someday.

Maybe Snape did something bad to Lily, and then James got back at him for it. So Lily started to like him. And, it's history from there! :P

They probably got together when James started to grow up a bit and stopped humilating other people to get Lily's attention.

i think that's what lupin said too. but for some reason that answer doesn't satisfy me. cause it seemed like she really almost hated james. and i don't think they even spoke much to each other. hm :unsure:

I don't think she hated him. And there is a reason behind me saying this other then Siruis saying it.

Plus we know that hate sometimes turns into love.....that sounds cliche I know, but it is true. :D

i agree with BarbieGirl. it had to be after he matured because she couldnt stand him in the pensieve.

i think they sound cute too, but i'd be just like lily. it doesnt matter how cute a guy is, if he's a jerk i won't like him.

Yeah, but it worked out, i think they were a great couple. But one thing, a few people think ron and hermione won't work out, well this is proof it might happen!! i must post this on the ron/hermione thread!!

:lol: yes, James was a jerk to Snape, and he wasn't a very nice guy at all. But yeah, maybe he finally grew up. Or maybe Lily had liked him the whole time, even though she pretended to despise him... I dunno how exactly they got together, but it prolly involved Lupin and Sirius :P

I think that James changed weither little by little for Lily and she didn't notice until something big happened, like her parents died and he comforted her, or he changed when his dad or parents died, and Lily helped him.

Lots of fanfics have taken that idea Rayne. :P I agree with it too.

It does make a lot of sense. Somthing had to happen to make him change, and he seems all to stubborn to change for someone to like him. If he were to change it would be for himself, and he wouldn't even relize it was happening.
That's my take on it anyway :P

I agree something probably made James change. But what I'm thinking is that since James kept insisting to Lily, Lily decided that he had changed from when she first met him and that going out with him might be the only way to get rid of him. And who knows? Maybe Lily changed too!

Sounds like Lily let her guard down and fell for the bad boy! But its hard not falling for the bad boy especially if he is really good looking! So maybe Lily changed for James and became a little more adventurous? She did become very close to Lupin, Sirius and Peter even though Peter was secretly ratting (hahaha ratting lol) them out.

It's kind of like she was the Hermoine and James was the Harry. A perfect match! *Said stubbornly, holding onto her favorite ship.* Hermione is a strait-laced goody-two shoes, but she always manages to find herself in the thick of trouble, and breaking the rules to get her & her friends way. I think Lily was quite a bit like that.

I think it's very sad that Lily and James died before Harry ever knew them.
