This is a Claims Program here at Leaky Cauldron! It's very simple: you can claim anything Harry Potter related as yours.

There are a couple of minor rules so just read through those and then you will be all set.

~ You can own anything Harry Potter related, as long as it is appropriate.
~ One item only please, no collections!

~ If you think the item you are claiming may be iffy, most likely it won't be accepted. So you can PM me or any of the mod's to find out first before you go and ask to claim it.
~ You can not claim a person, an actor, a place, an award, or a pet. Only items.

~ Everything is done at a first come, first served basis. It's fair that way.
~ Make sure that whatever you are claiming hasn¡¯t already been previously claimed.

~ You may change your item! PM with your old item and new item, just remember, people can take that item once you switch.
~ To Claim an item, post saying what item you want to claim and why you want to claim it. Hayley, Sedrick, or I will post it and then it is official.

~ Please make sure that me or one of the mods, post your claim up before you add it to your signature, otherwise you will be on the Warned User's List.
~ You can only anything from any character. It doesn't just have to be the main ones.

Once you have a claim, post asking for it. Then once it's approved go ahead and put it in your sig!


Note: You must remain active to keep your item. If you are gone for an extended period of time, there is a very good chance that you will lose possession of the item that you have claimed, regardless of the circumstances. If you come back to find that this has happened, you must reclaim your item unless it has already been claimed by someone else.

As for collections, maybe in the future but not right now. Claiming collections really limits the amount of things everyone else can have. For example, if you claimed Snape's wardrope, wand, and personal library, and I wanted to claim Snape's Robe or a book from his library, I wouldn't be able to do that because you've cliamed more than one item. Get what I mean?

To do this you must get the URl to this thread. That's at the the top of your browser, it should say something like http://z3.invision .. . etc. Go to the fist page and click that URL on that page, highlight it with your mouse and use the right click of your mouse and click COPY.

Now when you go to update your signature under My Controls and such, you will see a tab below the B I U, that says http://. Click that and paste the URL that you got from that thread there. It will ask for some text once you click okay, type in the words "claimed" and hit okay. To put it all together, write out whatever it is that you claimed from that thread. For example, I cliamed Harry's wand so it would look like this:

I claimed Harry's Wand!
