Title: Class Sign-Ups for Classes

Professor Rogue - March 17, 2006 07:43 AM (GMT)
Taking classes and learning the foundation of magic is what school is all about. So, in order to properly educate young witches and wizards, we are starting off with 5 classes. They have been carefully selected. You don't have to take all five classes, I've given you some breathing room, but you can if you like.

REQUIRED CLASSES: All must take
* Defense Against the Dark Arts
* Chamrs
* Potions

ELECTIVES: Optional courses
* Care of Magical Creatures
* Transfigurations

The Student Professors, should/have put out a sign up list so please sign up.

Headmaster

Yes, TA's and Professors still have to take the classes. A.) You're still students. and B) We need to support each other. :)

Meridae - September 25, 2006 02:40 AM (GMT)

apizzle, classes are more or less canceled for right now. We've found it's just been too much..especially for those with a very busy schedule inside or outside of the LC. Sorry :/

Dusty Dorsy - September 25, 2006 02:42 PM (GMT)
I do kinda have a suggestion for the classes especially where people here are busier during the actual school year why not do the classes during the summer that way those w ho have school from now to june can do the classes and it wont be so choatic? as i said thats just a suggestion. I didnt sign up for classes this past term since i was so busy with moving and what not.

Sardine - September 25, 2006 05:32 PM (GMT)
What about those in the southern hemisphere that have school then?
What's the point in having the classes? It's fun sometimes, but becomes too much.

apizzle - September 25, 2006 07:56 PM (GMT)
aww, it's okay lol

Professor Rogue - September 25, 2006 09:15 PM (GMT)
apizzle ditto to what Meridae said, but we'll let you know when classes are going to be begin or what's going to happen with them, etc.

This is a good idea but many of our members live in different parts of the world, Austria, Africa we even have a couple in Europe, so our American seasons with schools and such, doesn't always apply for them as well. But I see what you mean.

I was thinking of having maybe 1 or 2 classes and have them every now and then. Like once a month or somethig, that way, if you get to it, you get to it, but it won't be so hectice as in every week and such that it becomes dull and boring. Maybe 3 classes if we do it like that, but just have lessons once a month and have that lesson go on for a week or so to give everyone an opportunity to do it.

Sardine - September 27, 2006 09:17 AM (GMT)
Could work... but if you do re-create the LC using that new server... no,wait.
We try that out here, then, if it works we use it at the new LC (if you do decide to make a new LC). I see what you're getting at *nods*:)

I have a brilliant idea how about this:

The classe should be done so when u are posting a lesson give the students a week to answer then when they have spear time they will answer.

misspotter - October 5, 2006 08:26 PM (GMT)
oh and if the classes restart i would like to sign up for these classes

Defence Against the Dark Arts
Charms
Potions
Care of Magical Creatures

thank you

Meridae - October 29, 2006 02:40 AM (GMT)
Um, lolly.. The classes have been cancelled.

alrerretta - November 6, 2006 03:56 AM (GMT)
Why have the classes been canceled?

Meridae - November 6, 2006 07:22 AM (GMT)
We found it too much work. Everyone was trying to deal with issues at home, school work.. other things they had to attend to here BESIDES classes, plus with the classes going on, we had less time for activities. As you can see, we've got lots of activities here. You wouldn't remember there being less as you haven't been here long enough, but.. it just gives us more time for funness.

alrerretta - November 6, 2006 08:19 PM (GMT)
Oh well I thought that the classes would be like the other RPG. thanks.

Sardine - November 17, 2006 11:39 AM (GMT)
They're very similar to normal RPG's, but it's a lot more work for both teachers and students.

Punkinhead0702 - November 30, 2006 11:16 PM (GMT)
I would like to take;
Defense Against the Dark Arts

Care of Magical Creatures

peeves - December 1, 2006 01:50 AM (GMT)
