Dusty walked in with her owl named Ayla. "Ayla take this poem and letter to my friends back home." Dusty said. "Its vital they get it since it should have happened three days ago." SHe felt she could trust ayla with this stuff more then the school birds since Ayla knew where she was going. Dusty's only worry was that Ayla would not make the whole trip since she never had to do one so long before.

Professor Rogue -Headmaster

Rogue finally got up to the Owlery, one of the places in the castle that he'd defiantly have to visit more often. He saw a couple of students talking to their eyes. He went over to Dusty.

"Hi there. I couldn't help but overhear your conversation here," he said. "But who are you writing an owl to and about what?"

"Oh Hi Professor Rogue." Dusty said. "Im writing to some of my friends back home, The poem is about person I once knew. My best friend from home is susposed to bring it to his crash site for others to see it there." She started getting a bit misty. "I would rather not talk about the crash I feel bad that i couldnt prevent it."

Whats wrong dusty Brooke said walking over

Dusty looked up from writing yet another letter home while she waited for Ayla to return. "Nothing Brooke." she said with a sigh. "I wouldnt believe that all this stuff could go on at home without me there to help." SHe continued to write as Ayla flew back in with a package and landed at Dusty's shoulder.

Brooke tapped his shoulder sympatheticly. "know how you feel, my dads in the italian ministry<" she shrugged her shoulder and lloked at him. "Havent seen you much,"

"yeah I have been busy Brooke." Dusty said as she undid the package from Ayla and tied on the new letter. "Ayla make sure they get this." She turned back to talk to Brooke. "Its hard on me. I have friends who feel I should be able to go to muggle school or drop out to be with them."

Brooke sighed sypatheticlly. "my muggle frends are soo harsh on me for going to a "private" school as they were told"

"Its not that Brooke." Dusty said as she got up from the table. "Its the fact that my muggle friends think that I was headed off to a school for those who only ever talked about animals. Thats what they think I am doing is going to a special Vet school." She looked and saw that her owl was still around with the package. She untied the package and put it with stuff to goto her room. "Ayla go to your roost now keep Dan's owl company." She sat back down to talk.

Brooke called down Amelia. "COo amelia,' Brooke said. A white owl flew onto her arm . "Sooo whats up"

"Not much." Dusty said as she started to stretch. " I am still hurting from the torture I put my body through for getting back into shape." She went from stretching her arms to stretching her hamstrings.

Dusty finished writting a letter to her friends asking how they were all doing. She hadn't heard from them for a few weeks now. "Ayla come here for a minute." She called as Ayla came down to meet her. "How you doing little one?" She listened to Ayla's reply hoots. "Yep content I take it but wanting to get out to fly for a bit dont you girl." She said hopeing people didnt think she was crazy for talking to her animals. She tied the letter to Ayla's foot. "Take this to my friends back home. then you can fly around and stretch your wings for a bit." Ayla took off and Dusty sat there with a sigh wondering what was going on.

A few weeks later:

Dusty walked into the owlery deciding that it was time to write a personal letter to one of her friends... She sat down at the desk and started writing. Some of the letter read. "I figured I would write to you seeing as i havent heard from you for a while and wanted to see how things were. I know you are busy and I am too . With studying and everything. I am making friends and have a few that I feel really close to here. Anyways Im writing to let you know...." She went on to talk about one incident oranother then got to the actual point. "Anyways about what happened on our little get together a few weeks ago nothing came of it. You friend always and forever Dusty." She called for Ayla to come and tied the letter to her leg. "Alya this goes to him no one else to read it only him." She knew Ayla knew who she meant and she flew away as fast as she could to get to him in a timely manner knowing this guy sleeps at a really early time and knowing that he works really early in the morn. Dusty got up and walked to the area that Ayla flew out of just staring into space for a while thinking.

Dusty turned around from thinking for a bit seeing Ayla flying into the room with a note in her talons. Knowing the note wasnt from the person she sent one to she opened it.

dear Dust,
Ive been meaning to write to you to tell you that i miss being able to hang with you. i also am informing you that i have a roommate now thats female. I hope this finds you ok.

"Thats just like him." Dusty thought.. "He always was soo short with words and things.. new roommate i didnt think his place could have a roommate." SHe got busy writting a letter back to him saying that she wasnt too happy to hear that. But she still wanted to stay friends. Ayla came to her and flew back towards where he lived at.

Dusty was sitting in the tower just petting Ayla thinking about what to write back to another response from her good friend CT. She wanted to write something about how she was glad for the night that they did hang out but she wasnt sure how to go about it. Finally a idea came to her she started to write the letter but sounded to corny she finally gave up with a sigh.
