I thought this might grab your attention. :evil: Anywho, this is an easy opportunity for anyone to earn points for your house. So I advise everyone to take apart of this.

As I look around the new boards I made, (Girls & Boys Bathroom, The Owlery, My Office, and The Library) I am amazed that they only have maybe 2 threads in these boards! Come on guys, I really thought I had a lot of random/serious people out there!

So, in an attempt to get you guys in the Hogwarts Mood, I am awarding points to every new thread you create in the RP boards. Pretend that you are really at Hogwarts, going to the owlery, or the bathroom, etc. What happens? That's why I was shocked that I didn't see many threads in these places.

Here are some ideas for you:

1. Both Boys and Girls bathroom each have a ghosts, have you talked to them yet? Did they spook you?
2. Visit my office and have a chat with me about that "hogwwarts" kid that's giving your problems.
3. Visit my office just to chat about what's going on with you.
4. If you applied for the Student Professor position, create a new thread in the Library, role playing yourself doing research for that class that you want. Perhaps ask people for information on the topic or for helpful websites.
5. Create a new thread in the Library, setting up a table for you and your friends and gossip about what's going on here in the castle.
6. Visit the Owlery, sending a letter to your family back home or recieve a letter from them. What does the letter say? Is it good or bad news?

Those are just some ideas that I thought of off the top of my head, but get into it and feel free to start a brand new thread in these places. Even if you're just walking into the bathroom to change your hair color! Or going to the Owlery, find that no one's sent anything to you, so you sneak a peak at someone else's letter.

Start and thread and post the link here. You all have so much opportunity as students....use it and you will be rewarded. :naughty:

Click on the button http:// and it will come up in a thing all you have to do is put the HTML code in which should be at the top of the post you want to link just put that in the box and there you go!!! I hope I explaned this clearly enough sorry If I didn't! ^_^

It's called a hyperlink. Instead of clicking Fast Reply button, click the Reply button and it will take you to a brand new page. You will see the colors, and other opitions. But you'll also see http://, click that, and you'll have to paste the URL to the thread you are talking about and type in some words. Get the URL by going to that t hread, and copying the web address to it. :)

I'm not sure at the moment, but probably not since I posted this thread after a few of the first threads were created. I wanted this to be for extra threads started, not just the ones that were already in existence. That would mean that the moaning myrtle and boys bathroom wouldn't count because those were the first threads there. I'm talking about a few extras.

I know many of you started preparing for teaching threads in the library, which is great, but flex your muscles! There are still boards with 1 thread or 2 threads in it. We have some wonderful role players on the boards and I was surprised that they haven't started a few more threads.

Well I kinda think everyone is too scared to as they might get their heads bitten off for doing so. Hence why I couldn't be bothered.

Wow, well, I wouldn't know why they would be scared. That would be silly. It's just that so many were talking about being random and some wanted to be more serious, I thought with the new boards that this would be an opportunity for both parties to have there way. For people who just wanted random threads, to put nonsense threads going to the owlery, or playing the Staircase or something. And for those who wanted a more focused thread, they could do that too. But I'm seen almost neither.....

Sardine, when you said that, I thought that you were complaining that you didn't get points for recruiting someone. Not the other way around. And I checked the old thread and I did give Kaz and mj points.

Ok,before,Hufflepuff had 85 points.Then SHonk get points for the smilies.
Now,MJ and Kaz never got points for Recruiting me,because they never said they Recruited me.

Yeah the points haven't been updated in ages I think. Coz I also got another 5 points for making :voldie: that smilie and a few other peeps have gotten points that havent been added yet. Oh well.

House Points are updated whenever I have time to do it, I try to do it once every two weeks but that's not always possible. I thought Kaz and MJ got points but maybe they didn't. But this was a long, long, long time ago. If you recruited someone and don't post in the thread saying that you did that, I have no way of knowing that you did this, thus you don't get points. It really is the responsibilty of the people who recruit new members to say "I recruited so and so." If they don't they will not get the points.

If you see one of your house members start a thread, send them a quick PM asking them if they have registered their RP in this thread. Just an FYI if I decide to do anything like this in the future. Threads not registered here will not count.

No Sardine, that was only for a limited time only. Remember in the first post of this thread, starting new role plays around the boards was a way to earn easy house points. I asked that you tell me which threads you started so that your house could get the points. Many people started threads, without posting here letting me know that they had. So unless I went around the boards myself, I would have never known all the people who started new role plays and they wouldn't have earned points for their house because they didn't register it here.

But that's over with now because this was a limited time only. Steph, thanks for starting a new thread, but the opportunity to earn points for it is closed now. I aslo posted in the morning annoucements, which to no avail, has anyone replied.
