Just here to say that they've recently cast actors to play James Potter and Lily Evans in OotP when Harry goes into Snapes memories!:D

I have to say that I think James looks all right, I guess. But Lily looks a little too old. Maybe she'll look younger on screen.

I think compared to the actor of James Lily does look older but remember we were never told who was older in the books we just know they were in the same year. As far has the hair goes its long enough for them to make crazy looking trust me I have friends with that hair length and htey can put it in spikes i mean tall spikes so both of them look great for their roles.

I feel, that there is generally the same problem when casting these movies. The producers (or whoever chooses the cast members) go for attractive people, not people who fit the description best. That is how I feel about it, what do you guys think?

Yes...I mean look at Emma Watson. So not Hermione...I bet we prob. end up with some ugly dude for young Sirius tho. *mutters*

I think producers do that all that time. It's really hard to find the right person to "fit" a role, but I think they should take the time to do it. The girl who is playing Lily looks like she's 25 years old, I wonder how old she is in real life? If James and Lily are supposed to be around 15, I'd have picked an actor around that age.

I guess we will have to wait and see them in costume tho. coz it is a mazing what they can make people look like compared to what they actually do...but yeah it is annoying and they should def. take more time in choosing peeps...but sometimes peeps who look the best can't act so yeah thats sucks too.

Though I think the best actor they got was the guy who plays Flickwit. he was the best, even JK said thats how she had imagined him, but then in movie 3 they changed his look. :angry:

anyway... Lily's all wrong, she's old, and she doesn't have red hair (tho they can dye it) or big green eyes (they prolly wont change eye color tho, seeing as they never bothered about Dan's!!!! grrrr)

the guy playing James is really hot... but totally not how James is supposed to look (of course the'll change him, but ... well, they picked the perfect Luna, could've comeup with a better james.)
