Student Biographies
Stored in a file cabinet at Hogwarts, every student’s biography is tucked away neatly in a folder for quick access. Multiple safety locks have prevented anyone from removing a folder, but they are welcome to look at. Come here for a student’s role playing name, biography, character info, & more.

Once you have registered here, you are required to creat a character biography, that is, the person you will be role playing here at the LC. Fill out the following information for your role playing character biography, but also just so everyone has an idea of who is who. The information doesn't have to be who are you are in real life, in fact, you're encourage to think creatively and make something up for. Create a character that you are comfortable with and on the boards, role play as this character. Each bio will be reviewed by the Headmaster or his House Elves and will either be Accepted or Rejected (you will be asked to fix something in your bio if it is rejected)

• YOU MUST create a seperate thread for your bio.
• ALSO, keep in mind that your character should not be related to any of the canon Harry Potter characters in the books. I don't want someone whose Lily Potter's niece or Hagrids long lost daughter. :lol:
• Some special talents (such as animagi, metamorphus, etc) must be registered, payed for and accepted.

NOTE: Once your bio has been accepted it will be signed and stamped with your House logo by either the Headmaster or his House Elves.

Hi Brittany. But yes, all members are required to do one. But follow the application like I posted above. I dunno if you looked at the other members application and mines, but something like that. Feel free to be creative and tell us your likes, dislikes, things like that.

No,you dont have to be Sorted to submit a Bio,but you must leave the spot where it says 'House:' blank,then when you're Sorted,edit your Bio and put what House you're in.
ilivetom,just look at other people's Bio's and you'll see what to do :)

The Prefect grabs me and says "Why are you out of bed?"
Looking in to the Prefects face " I was going to the library to see if I could get a book. You see I can't sleep and wanted something to read. Can you tell me if the library is open still."
The prefect looks down and can tell that this is a first year student and has just arrived at Hogwarts. (smiles) "you silly little 1st year the library is closed, now go back to youe dorm. By the way write down all your questions and ask A Professer in the morning you can even ask a Prefect, but do it in the morning. Now get back to your dorm!"

I have a question. In our bios, do we have to be the same year that our account is? I.E. I'm currently a semi-first year (waiting on my sorting) and I want to make my character a fifth year. Could I do that or have to do I work up to fifth year?

My character Rupin has a age of 12-13 years but in real life I am 21

I think everybody starts of in first year and when they reach a certain amount of posts they automatically progress into another year.

0-10 posts = new hogwarts student
10-250 posts = first year
250- 500 posts = second year
etc

I hope this answers your question.

Yes, you have to work up being a 5th year. Check out the Advancing Year Levels threads. The levels go by your post count and how many posts you have. ;)

Also, just in case you waned to know, your character doesn't have to be the same year in Hogwarts as it says on your profile.

History: My father's a muggle and my mother's a witch. It's kinda funny watching those two together. My dad loves learning about anything magic my mom talks about and my mom loves learning about new muggle inventions. For myself I just love learning about the sweets from both worlds :lol: .

* It's around 1 in the morning when I'm suddenly accosted by a Prefect just when I near my House enterance. The Prefect asks me, "What are you doing out of bed at this hour". I look at him and start to explain quite hurriedly, " Look I know I'm suppose to be in bed by now according to the rules and I was just finishing up my last class and heading toward the library when I got lost. When I tried to find my way back to my House I found myself being shoved into a closet and couldn't get out. I'm not sure who did it but whoever did seemed to think it was funny cause I heard them laughing on the other side of the door. It took me forever to get the unlocking charm to work so I could get out of that closet. Please! I just want to get back to my House and go to bed." The Prefect looks at me and states, " Seeing as your a first your I'll let you slide and considering the pranksters around here I'm not suprised they tried something on one of the first years. Just be careful and if you need help getting around just ask a teacher or one of my fellow Prefects. OK? Now run along and get to bed." My reply, "Yes, sir." I run all the way to my House and get into the empty common room. I start to laugh. I think, 'I can't believe he bought that! Ha ha! I can't wait to see if my muggle prank worked on Snape! I wonder if the shampoo will clean his greasy hair. HA HA! I hope the shampoo doesn't interact with the hair dye I stuck in there. At least he'll finally be showing some school spirit! Green and Silver! And since I positioned it outside his office door his wards won't register anything. I just hope my Disillusionment spell holds on the bucket above the door." After a long good laugh imagining Snape with bright green and silver hair, I head up to my dorm and go to bed, just hoping my prank worked. You know it pays to come from both worlds. :lol:

I was walking down the hallways when I saw a prefect coming but there was no exscape so I act cool..like im doing nothing wrong ..thats when they grab my arm. "What's you excuss for being out after curfew..I will take 100 points away from your house." I start planning my exscape the moment they start threatening me..there wasting my time...Ah I got it. Suddenly a vase on the table behind the prefect explodes. The prefect turns around to see what happens letting go of my arm. I slide into the shadows a crept into a part of the wall that sinks in. The prefect then looks back the were I was. " Where did she go?!?" The prefect then runs down the corridor to where the thought i went. Once there gone I continue my mission staying in the shadows. :firedevil:
