I read this book too! And I actually had to play a small role for my theater class, I was Peter, go figure.
But to be honest, Anne was good and stuff but it annoyed me that she was going for the Mother Theresa Award all the time. "No matter what people do, there is good in everyone"
I find her strength to say this (or something like it) encouraging, especially what she was going through at the time with the Nazis and stuff, but yes, she was a complete goody good. Which is perfectly all right! I'm just saying.

Just a random comment: I KNEW IT! You definatly seemed like a fellow theater freak! (not really a freak)
But the book is really touching... I never thought of it, but now that you mention it, she was brave to say that stuff in her diary! I mean she did sorta diss the Nazis a bit!

In her like first 10-15 entries you can really tell she is a teenager by the way she acts. Very full of herself, flirty ect. But I think that she ment it when she said she thinks there is good in everybody, she had a lot of time to think up in that attic

I read that book as well. it was good, though I never thought someone could go through all that. Its kinda sad she died, she was pretty brave in writing all that stuff and risking that someone might find it and read it.

I read this book before and I found it very interesting and I actually liked it. Granted, it's based on a true story so that might have had something to do with it, but it was still very moving. It's so sad to know that people went through that kind of torture. Very sad.

We had to read this in the 8th grade. I ended up buying it when I had finished it because I liked it so much. It was crazy to think that a girl my age at the time had gone through that....

Saw the movie the book is better. Way better. But then im that way im a big book person. I like how Anne Frank Diary iis so histroical. It is hard going to the National Holocost Museum after reading and seeing the movie and understanding what happened.
