i was just wondering why lupin got bit? or maybe his dad was a wolf, and it was contracted by lupin?
and who thinks harry will be an animagi? and if you do what do you think it will be?
i think he will be an animagi....but i dont think he will be a stag....maybe an owl...just because he likes hedwig so much

I don't think that harry will become an animagus. Only because it would make him seem like a god, if he does. Think about it, he's an arorur(sp?) he knows a whole lot of spells that not even an early adult could master, I mean he's becoming great as it is. He wouldn't want him to be a cheap character.

I agree; he doesn't need more fame than he already has. And it's spelled auror, just so's you know. And yeah, he would learn sooo much from that!! No cheap characters!!!!

harry will be the powerfulest wizard in the world even greater then voldy i think harry will kill voldy and become a auror the worlds best auror may i add when hes older p.s hope he settles down with a wife and has a kid because that kid when it grows up will be getting everyone at him asking about harry his dad and things like that

I think he wil become an animagi. Not many people will kno 'bout it of course, and he could like hide himself! I think he might follow in the steps of Sirius, and bacome a dog. They get to choose right!?

I don't know if they can choose, but I don't think Harry will become an animagi. Again, like I've said before, he doesn't need any more fame than he already has!!!

Harry an animagis of corse he will be and i agrre with Merlin i think he'll become one of the best auror along with Ron. :D

For some reason I dont think Harry will become an Animagi- it seems a little predictable dont you think?? Plus it takes quite some time to learn how to do it and there's only 2 books left, plus with Harry fighting Voldermort I just dont think he'll have the time!

I'm not sure I think Harry will become an Animagus too. I mean, he's kind of hogging up the scene with how he escaped the curse from Voldermorth. Not to say that he's literally hogging up the scene, cuz the books are called Harry Potter, but he has that storyline in his favor. We already know, or suspect, that Harry has powers that not even he knows about. Why give him the animagus powers too?

my guess is lupin was outside at night 1 day when he got bitten by a random person. i dont think harry will become or needs to be an animagus. but if he was i suppose he'd be maybe a dog like sirius or something fierce like a white tiger that can be tough and gentle. but hey thats just my opinion. :jumpsmile:

Rogue is right; Harry doesn't need any more spotlight than he already has. And besides, I don't know if Ron would be able to take Harry getting even more fame. It's hard enough to be friends with him as it is and all. No, he's not gonna be an Animagus.

I would say that it is really obvious that Harry will be come an animagus. I know he has enough fame already, but it would go great with his character. :blink:

Like many before me, harry doesn't need any more fame, or attention, everyone talks about him enough as it is. And i agree that his fame makes ron a little jealous, because he probably thinks it wouldn't be so bad to be in harry's shoes.

I agree; we've already seen that Ron does get jealous of Harry's attention once in a while.... I mean, who wouldn't in his position?? Yeah, Harry don't need to be an Animagus on top of everything else... Leave that up to someone else...

I think Harry becoming an animagus will depend on whether or not Voldemort is one. If Voldie pants doesn't have that poewr than it's uneccessary for Harry to have it. As for the Ron being jealous bull, I would personally not like it if Ron became an animagus. Not in the books anyways. Maybe later in life as an auror (if that's what he chooses to do). In fact I wouldn't like any of them (the students) to be animagi because they are supposed to be in school! They are not supposed to be soldiers in a war and even though they invariably are that is no excuse for making special exceptions for them.

Yeah, I wouldn't like it if any of the three were animagus; there is just no point to that. And yeah, they are soldiers in a war, but they don't need to be any more so than they already are. They are only kids after all.

I don't think that Harry will become an Animagus even if Voldemort is one. If he did it would be too much like the Sword in the Stone book where Madame Mim and Merlin have a duel and spend the whole thing turning into different creatures and animals. Rowling has already used this for Animaguses in general. It wouldn't be a bad thing if she used this, though it would kind of be a signal that she was just building off of other authors.
