Story of Week 15

This is the first time since week 5 (Liv v New), we will be facing a double week..A bit different from week 5, where we were only bound to choose players from Liv or New in order to ve 11 double game players..Anything less than 200 pts will be considered as a failure given that there were 11 teams having double games..

Choose players from..

This week comprises of 5 teams playing 2 HOME games..concentrate on these 5 teams..i ve rank them in my own preferential order

Liverpool look good to win both games at home..The Reds are second in HOME table (behind Chelsea) with 5W and 1 D (WWWDWW) and having scored 13G and conceded only 3G. They look good for CS in both game as well with 3 consecutive CS in all competition..Having say that, ManC scoring only 3G and conceding 13G away from home..the worse record in EPL away form atm..while, Port score 7G and concede 7G and lost all their last 3 away games.

Ast have ManC in their fixture together with the inconsistent Boro, who are winless away from home this season..Ast v Boro could easily ended up in a 0-0 draw as both team ve a superb defensive record recently..(Ast with 3 consecutive CS and Boro 2)..

Avoid picking ManU and Bol players unless u picked them up at a low price..and i cant see any cheap filler in Manu team atm..

the other 6 teams having 2 games are..in preferential order..

Never choose a player with a single game..the only player with a realistic chance to shine with only one game is A.Young..but it is only advisable to those who got him cheap..bare in mind that Watford ve only ONE game in week 16 as well..

He is Fulham top scorer atm..and at a decent price..the lowest this season..I wont be suprised to see him scoring double figure even without a goal..The only concern is he was substituted in the 46th minute against ManC. But i cant find any injury news about him. It might be just a tactical change as Ful was 3-0 down at the time..He will be in my team if teamnews indicating he will starts..

Midfield

Solid Pick
S. Gerrard (LIV - M) MAC,POR 15.46
Gerrard will be the solid pick at a bit pricy tag..but with injuries crisis looming in the Reds camp after CL game..Gerrard is the only player set to starts both games..For sure in the first time this season, he will be back to his favourite position, centre midfield..where he has been generating pts for us in the past few years..a goal wasnt a suprised after breaking his deadlock ytd..a penalty will be a bonus..He should be in everyone team..

Darkhorse / Bargain
Claus Jensen (FUL - M) RED,ARS 12.61
The key man in Ful team..he will takes all set piece for Ful..include penalty kick..irregardless of Ful performance, he will good enuf to earn double figure this week..

Defender

Liverpool players look really tempting this week..Hot prospect for 2 CS. Riise s the best bet if u got him pre-update...Hyypia s the cheapest among those regular back four but has to fight for a palce against Carragher and Agger..Finnan did well on week 5..Beside Liverpool players, Clichy at 6.06 is a bargain and Cahill at 6.62

Reina s the top pick this week..he did well last night against PSV and liverpool defense look solid atm..A CS against ManC is in the bag and a good marking on Kanu will earn you a second CS..
But, if you want to be different from other team..the second pick will be

A bit too pricy but he s on-form atm..spending an extra 3 units for him just to differentiate your team from other? :beee: make your decision..
