peace out,
tommy
Actually, Tommy, my still(s) from "Mr. 3000" aren't really stills at all. They're printouts straight from the raw camera footage DURING filming.
I actually had the awesome oppportunity to meet and chat with some of the crew while we were on set. One of those crew was Charles Papert, head cameraman, "a" camera, and steadicam operator. I had been keeping an online blog account of my 15 days on the set (on JonBaas.com), and a number of the crew had been reading it every night and passing it along to everyone else they knew. (I met other members of the crew who actually told me so ... I even heard that Charles Stone -- the director -- was aware of my journals!)
Well, long story short, after getting to know Papert a bit during the shooting (he was one of those who was reading my blog), on the last day, he came into our waiting area, looked me up specifically, and put me prominantly into one of the shots right along with Michael Rispoli. After that scene wrapped shooting, he gave me a camera printout of the frames they had just shot, and one of those is the image you've seen among my pics.
