Title: Very surprized
Shadow Raider II - June 18, 2004 03:03 PM (GMT)
Normally I dont use Leon or fight with him, beacuse he's very slow like Bass. I found out the other day that he's a pretty good fighter he has nice throws, combos, and counters. It seems that his strength is in his power and defence

Leon and Bayman are pretty similar (I think). Not too sure how many moves seperate the two.
If played right, Leon can be a pretty powerful character.
I can't remember if he has MT's like Bayman though.

I'm not sure but I think Baymen is a little bit faster the Leon, but not by much.

i think the difference of the two was in the throw department.... leon has an air throw.... and bayman has a VERY VERY LOW throw (the one where he clips your legs)... and oh yeah bayman is a lil bit faster that leon.... but leon can inflict more pain than bayman.... trust me... ;)

lol do you remember the cut seen where Leon got Jahn Lee on the floor and started punching him in the face then picked him up and threw him into the glass window sending him flying to the ground :D

Bayman has more juggles/mix-up moves than leon does.....hence in the hands of an expert . And while it's true leon has the air grabs, his only higly useful one is (half-circle+F+P). It does a great deal of damage....much more than his instant air-grab. Also, leon's air juggles deal a heck more damage than juggling into an air-grab.
You should experiment with him to see what i mean.

I think I'll do that. :china:

Bayman's catch throw (33F+P) takes like i22 to execute unlike Leon's i16. It's also very easy to see coming and can be countered by a low hold, low throw, crouch, and mid launcher.
Bayman also has a set of DoA2 arcade style advanced counters which inflict spades of damage.
Bayman has 2 anti-jabs (1P and 4P+K) and a LS set up (F+K). He can pull off longer and significantly more damaging juggles than Leon and some of the fastests counter launchers next to Ayane and Hayate. (236P, 4P+K, 214P)
