Just for your info, here are some good alternatives to the over-used counters. Some are harder to execute because you have to tap an extra button, but it deals a bit more damage.

Parries (quickly tap in Back and execute them like any regular counter attacks, do this simultainously, sp? =P)

b~uf+Free
b~df+Free

(Extra Note: since these are parries, it's a great way to catch your enemy off guard. I recommend going b, f+P or any mid to long range-ish stun attacks, short range attacks don't really contact =/...for me that is)

Speical Counter Attacks (quickly tap in Forward and execute them like any regular counter attacks, do this simultainously, sp? =P)

(Extra Note: these special counter-attacks adds about 20+ damage with the regular amt. of counter attack damage)
