Well I just beat that ghost form of Doku, and now Im confronted with this damn level. I dunno about you guys, but those damn spirit pirranahs are a pain in the angry beaver. So far Ive been using the electric ninpo to kill them, but at this point, Ive run out. Any suggestions as of how I can get all the way to the top without ninpo to kill the pirranahs on the stairs?

try the LVL3 Vigoorian Flail.... and button mash all the way..... u may take some damage but not as brutally as using the sword.... :D

Hmm I have the level 2 flails...is there a special way to get them to lvl 3? Cuz it doesnrt say that it can.
Also, I havent gotten the chance to try it, but if I use the Fire Wheel Ninpo, will that help much?

the only good way to max ur money is in those piranhas...... i have really forgotten the max levl that the vigoorian can reach.... but get it to the maximum level to fry those piranas.....i suggest in using the LVL2 or 3 Lightning Ninpo... its quite effective for these critters..........and the piranas are also the great way of making ur wooden sword into unlabored flawlessness...

First of all, why in the ###### would you not use ninpo? They give you it all back. It's not like it's being wasted. Fighting them is like going to the shop and getting a bunch of free sheet. And if you wear you armlet of benediction, you can rack up a ton of flocking money.

NOW, how to kill them. flock the flale. Use your dragon sword. Press jump then x. Forward and backward in the air over and over again until they are all dead. And if they do get you, just keep stomping on the buttons that perform ninpo. Use The Art of the Inazuma. It will shake them off pretty quickly and as soon as your free, you'll bust out with the ninpo. And The Art of the Inazuma will kill all the ones that were attached to you plus about 10 more in the sorrounding area.

ALSO, make sure the counter that tells you karma/kills/combos is up. That way, when you've killed them all you'll know. The numbers glow and then dissapear when they are all gone. This will make it so there's no screw ups. You have no idea how many times I have THOUGHT they were gone and gottten totally screwed because of it.

Oh also, the reason you shouldn't use the flail is because if you don't know how to use and you just mash buttons, you'll screw up. You'll be meaning to stop or you think your going to stop because the combos are confusing. This puts you off guard, which is the worst possible thing for these guys.

Thanks for the help. I have been using my lvl 2 inazuma ninpo, but for some reason, they dont always give me back the red essence, and I eventually run out of it. I also noticed that when Im running on the wall, they dont attack you...

In one word......FIRE. These fishies actually die in one hit. Now this is an effective combo. Equip your Vigoorian Flail and the Art of Fire Wheels ninpo. Since these phantom fishies enjoy coming to u in mass groups, activate your Art of Fire Wheels ninpo and at the same time slashing through the "crowd". Since the Art of Fire Wheels revolves around your character the fishies are instantly "cooked" upon contact, making u "untouchable". Keep on reactivating your fire ninpo for each waves of fishies that respawn. Don't worry about running out of ninpo, cause if u notice, most of these guys actually drop at least one or two red essences. This combo is the most effective one i know. Hope it helps.... :D :D

Ya thats what Ive been doing. The only problem is, they dont ALWAYS drop red essence. And I sometimes have to resort to my flails when that happens :( Flails work pretty well mind you, but its usually when the combo stops that I get ripped by the damn fish.

Don't be afraid to use your elixers.

do this pattern..... swing like crazy w/ ur flails and if the combo comes to an end immediately cast ur fave ninpo and after a brief recovery repeat swinging..... and WASH, RINSE, REPEAT....

I use the level 3 lightning ninpo. You take a few seconds to jump up in the air and many fish attack you and get fried. Then you kill the ones that respawn when you jump into the air. Sometimes I get all of em' on one try that way.
