I've gotten his health down to the point of his almost dying, but every time I do, its like he kicks it up a notch and I die. HELP!!!!!!!!

I use this strategy: i jump on him pressimg Y, then i escape, i wait some seconds then i repeat! It'll be really easy with this! ^__^

running slashes then retreat..... as also said above the air slash works,,,,, not the vertical downward slash....... but the horizontal stab/slash one with the blue aura in it,,,,

Dynamo is a boss that you have to attack and back off. The technique I use is I always attack with flying swallow, if he blocks it, I always jump back, and repeat. You don't want to stay too far away from him because once he starts shooting those unblockable lasers, it's hard to recover. You don't want to fight him straight up either, he'll just grab you.

Just make sure you attack him in a patter where he has to recover and you're ready to attack again.

I saw that. It takes him a while to charge up his gun, and this is probably the best time to attack, no? What if you got the hit him and back off part down, but you can't finish him off when the time comes?

I don't wait for him to do anything, I just always attack and back off, that's how I beat him.

I thought that this was the easiest boss fight, but I also noticed that he does turn it up a notch when he's on the verge of dying. The easiest way (for me anyway) to beat him, is to make sure your dragon sword is level 2, so that you can do the flying swallow technique.
As soon as the match starts, use your ninpo (the fire ball one) and then rush at him, using the flying swallow. This will make you go through him, exposing his back. So get in a few slashes, immediatly block, and roll back to avoid his grab.
If he happens to hit you, and you go flying back, he will use his gun. Just run in a circular fashion to avoid the blasts, and continue with the flying swallow.

I mean he doesn't do anything when he holds his gun up and it glows right, so hit him while hes doin' that. You don't really have to wait cause he does it automatically.

best way to beat him do the slash attack where u slide around coz the first one will hit then u run like all hell till he has to reload lol and when he kicks it up a notch u run around him but slowly close in on him then jump and do the slash thingy so he can't kick you thats how i beat him

it took me 5 times till i realzed hit and runs were good since you could dodge his rapid attacks and hit at the same time
