It has been a long time, but it was well worth the wait, Ninja Gaiden proves that Tecmo, Team Ninja has what it takes to produce the best games in their field.
As always lets start with the pros :D
-The games story line although simple, is a very fitting for our favourite DOA ninja seeking vengeance and recovering his clans stolen blade.
-Graphics......need i say more? They ROCK!!! The environments and surroundings come in a wide variety and the Ryu's movements and animation are very fluid.
-Gameplay is one of the best moments of this game. Don't expect an easy ride cause this game is tough even on normal mode. I personally got killed nearly 30X in that game. Ryu has a wide variety of moves which allow him to perform acrobatic feats as well as numerous weapons and moves to bring down "heavenly wrath" upon his opponents. And did i mention he does it fast. Boss fights in the game are memorable as cause they are very challenging and learning their patterns of attack isn't just enough to save your ninja hiney, if you don't know how to avoid properly and strike at the right time.
Now for the cons :(
-Well as for this area, i would say that its the bloody freakin camera. Thats right folks, the camera has the tendancy to kill u. Sometimes it can also make u run up a wall when u don't really want to or, disables u from seeing your opponents who r about to strike u.
All in all
-Despite the small issue of the camera, Ninja Gaiden is a great game of its time and its good points are a worthy note. Team Ninja has done an admirable job of delivering what it has promised and kudos to them. For this i give Ninja Gaiden a 5/5

Are you entering the Master Ninja Tournament?

I really want to if i could, but i'm not sure if Malaysia supports X-box Live. Even if it had, i don't know the peripherals i need to play online.(Yeah i know, i suck in technology and i don't think subscribing for X-box Live is free though. Paying in U.S dollars, will be an overkill for my monthly budget.). If u know anything on this, tell me and i'll find a way to join the tournament. although my skils in the game suck, cause outta the entire game i only managed to get the rank of head ninja 10 times. :pinch:

- Although I don't own the game istelf, I have played it (at a friends house...a lot...) and I'd have to say Team Ninja did a flawless job with this :china: the camera angles didn't bug me that much though, hmm...anyways, I voted 5/5 ;)

Well. Finally... A game that made purchasing my X-BoX worthwhile. -Shrug- Anyways, when I was given a choice on how to rate this. I would have given this game far beyond the limit given, but oh well...
Tecmo and Team Ninja have done an outstanding job on this game and I couldn't be more pleased than I already am. The moment I got my hands on the game, I played it nonstop and am still playing it today. Soon, once I get X-BoX live, I'll join up in the "Master Ninja Tournament". Perhaps I may not be as good as some of you here are (Ayane for example, but I don't know that yet), but I feel confident enough that I can stand my ground when it comes to playing in the tournament.
Onto important matters, the gameplay of NG was "spiff"-tastic and I couldn't possibly put it any other way. Ahh, the music was nice here and there, but I wish that you could have at least put in music that you programmed in your X-Box to play it with. As for the camera angle.. Hn, it could have used a little work. just a little, but hey, I'm not complaining. Now.. Moving onto story... Just one word...
WOW... :D
This is a game that is worth buying and I would definately reccomend it.
Anyways, I'm cutting out... La~
