after reading 2 blogs of some deviant artists i deviwatch, i found some devastating news. this news is probably spreading quick, or is starting to. its called The Orphan Works Legislation. i believe it applies to anything you create: pictures, poetry, maybe music and games. im assuming it applies to anything that needs a ©.

i think i can summarize this bill: congress is passing a new law. its about copyrights. whenever you create something, you have to pay a private registry company to keep whatever you create yours. if not, the creation would up for grabs by anyone. your stuff can be legally jacked, basically. also, its a fee per creations. so if you make 10 things, you pay 10 fees. and this same bill is trying to be passed internationally in Europe as well. and it isnt stuff you make from then on, it also INCLUDES creations already made before it is passed as well!

actually, you are more right than you think. its been 6 hours since i posted this and i found some new info. apparently that Mark guy i linked to earlier made it all up (or something like that). i had found this a couple of minutes ago(linked by a friend) and it tries to bring some order to the internet.
