:hmm: I don't think so... The remake is for FFVII.

i too am feeling the design of lightning (nice change of pace eh dark kunoichi :) ). the rest of the game however remains to be seen.
if the battle system holds my interest, then this'll be the first FF title since FFVII that i've bought in quite a while.

wait, you mean to tell me no one noticed her new weapon? i mean, the news aint new, buts its some kinda transformable gunblade-ish thing. hell, we know there are airships and what the world is like. this is getting talked about like it was new. shoot, the game was announced before XII was half-done.

It turns out the screens I saw from FFVIII are from a new fighting game involving FF characters.
