That was definitely an A+ effort. No, in fact thats professional attitude which shows in his work....that was 1 hell of a video. To pull of those numerous animation movements and attacks is not something which can be done quickly or with ease. In fact the whole thing from level design to character voice(wonder how he pulled that off)was excellent given the resources he had. Thanks for the link blueboy...that one made my day. ;)

I SWEAR I CRIED at the end of this video...Paine ...was my favorite X2 girl...and they didnt even bring her in. i hear ya on paine. tifa kinda threw out the 3 v 3 continuity yet riku compliments ayane with melee weapons. then again paine would've been a better substitute or hell just get rid of yuna alltogether. XD

all in all, monty thought things through and based them as so:
yuna - kasumi (guns v ninpo eh?)
riku - ayane (weapon experts)
tifa - hitomi (hand to hand baby)

as for haloid, i think he based that female spartan from either nicole (DoA4) herself or he read the graphic novels (published even before DoA4) that talked about both male and female spartans before MC's unearthing.

definetly another epic and reccomended watch to everyone. :)

an ditto for me in brawl. samus is my top character, so she's my 1st to learn...yet again (mostly her zero iteration). once i'm comfortable, i'll branch off with zelda (2nd fav), link, sonic (hell yes!), peach and possibly snake himself.

when it's out, i'll definetly send u my friend code. it'll b very nice change of pace for me.....only a small handfull of us play melee, and they're all guys. :(

Ye this is one of the best stuff i have seen from Monty Oum and he is someone who i respect a lot, it took him 1 year to complete this movie, and now he is working on part 2 coz he really liked it himself :) there is also a SLOW version of this...means, if the fight sequences were too fast for u to watch the babes, there is a slow motion version available :D lemme know if any of u are interested. :kas: :heart:

Indeed, theres definitely alot to learn from this video. This guy uses some unorthadoxed techniques, but makes it work well. ;)

Anyway, it was good. I didn't like it as much as the first, though, not quite as action packed or something. Also, if you're going to go with FF chars, don't go Kairi. Just don't. And Rinoa, while different, I agree, is a bad pick, especially with the Gunblade. (And that's not Quisty fanboy speaking, either). I think Selphie would've made a better choice, overall, though I guess he needed the mage to send them all away. I can see why he picked Rachel, but I still hate her lol.

Overall, though, still awesome.

And it still needs Quisty. There just isn't enough Quisty in the world.

But, sadly, I don't know how he'll add more DoA chars in. He stated that he wants it to be primarily weapons stuff, except for Tifa and hitomi. But, if that's the case, that doesn't leave many more chars from TN. Maybe Tecmo in general? Lol, Fatal Frame attacks!

Well Helena can use a samuri sword like she did in the movie :rofl: lol!Tina can use a chair like plenty of wrestlers do :rofl: lol!

montyoum wants this as a weapon's based martial arts mix of femme fatals (w tifa and hitomi as the exceptions), so i can understand why rachel and kari's (i think that's her name......didn't play either KH games) in it.

since tn's ladies are currently outnumbered by 1, any speculations on who could be the next additon to tn's squad?
