Looks like Team Ninja is going to be making another online Dead or Alive game.

Another DOA game?
December 17, 2003 - Not really. It appears that - according to retailers - that Team Ninja's upcoming Dead or Alive Online has now been renamed to Dead or Alive Ultimate Collection v.1. Really.
The title, which is perhaps a little too long and misleading for its own good, does imply something interesting, though - the v.1 may mean there is another online collection in the works. Perhaps v.2 will include an online version of DOA 3. Or maybe it's just quirky Japanese naming conventions at its best (worst?).
We contacted Tecmo to confirm the news, and the company said that it would make an official comment regarding the matter tomorrow.

Yeah I heard about that. Now I'm not sure if I should wait for the Vol.2, because it may be better than the first one :mad:

If there is a volume 2 it would contain different content from Volume 1 so you'll need them both anyway. :china:

Why don't they add DOA 3 on the online package as well? Wouldn't that make senese?

Itagaki of Team Ninja said that he would like to release a seperate online version of Dead or Alive 3 in the future. Dead or Alive 2 Hardcore for me was the best, I can't wait for Ultimate to come out :pinch:

I couldn't agree more. Dead or Alive 2: Hardcore was fantastic. It didn't look as nice as Dead or Alive 3, but all of the extras really helped it out. Getting 6 outfits for your characters is second only to being able to edit your own in Virtua Fighter 4: Evolution.

There may not be a remake since it's been delayed until the summer. There could bea chance that Team Ninja will include all of the characters from DOA in Ulitmate.
Just have to wait and see
