It is obvious that people would find life extremely difficult without computers, maybe even impossible. If they disappeared for just one day, would we be able to cope?
Be a part of one of the biggest global experiments ever to take place on the internet. The idea behind the experiment is to find out how many people can go without a computer for one whole day, and what will happen if we all participate!
Shutdown your computer on this day and find out! Can you survive for 24 hours without your computer?

in short, shutdown day '07 is where you shut down your computer and do something that doesn't involve your computer for the day. but can you do it? you have 18 days to decide if YES or NO.

i am planning on partaking since i will be out of school that day. OH YEA!!!

I was without my PC for 2 days or so last week. No way I'm going to do it now, since I'm back from vacation.

As long as my cable connection stays, and Pump It Up still exists, and my buddies are still alive, this would be easy.

I KNOW I can do it...I've gone for months without this thing ^^
As long as my CD player and TV don't mess up I'm gewd.

So I guess it's a yesh!

do all electronics count, or anything that connects to the internet, or is it just computers?

it seems kind of lame if it's JUST computers.

May as well have missed it. I have gone 2 years without my net, and too long without my systems. I CAN go without computers, but I plan on getting a lot of use out of these things first lol.
