that's not surprising dan. my dad's neighbors had a similar occurance a few weeks back. the police were only informed after the stench of "rigamortise" emanated from the deceased appartment. lady was dead for over a week beforehand, still watching television no less.

I want to say that this is the most awesome way to go: die of natural causes in front of the tube. But it's actually really sad on so many different levels. No family or friends to check on your well being or anything.

It's really depressing, actually.

doesn't the electric company measure how much power you use? cause if a TV was running for a year straight, i would be curious as to why. besides, the power should have been cut off after like the 2nd non payment.

this just has some wtf moments

indeed it does, yet if this person's electricity was already accounted and paid for, then there'd be no need for anyone to disconnect power nor perform maintenance.

what i wanna kno is how this person did it? not to throw this topic off, but it sounds like a money saving find.

cause.... why would a blind man need cable? besides, a TV and Power bill paid for a year sounds ludicrous. unless he has a proxy.... then we can hit them up

oh, i should be a detective
